Eddie's Upholstery

Located in a quaint small house off Rosemont Garden Rd is where Eddie does his business. Apparently he has been doing a good job since he has been there for over 17 years, according to him. When you call the business, you get to talk to Eddie himself. Unlike other upholstery places, he does not mandate that you purchase the fabric from him, although he does have a nice collection to choose from. Recently I took in six kitchen chairs to be redone. He had them finished with new cushions in 24 hours! His prices are fair, reasonable and he will give an estimate right on the spot. Craftsmanship is top notch as the kitchen chairs now looks like they were just delivered from a showroom. Overall surprisingly pleased and just dropped off another chair/stool today for him to rejuvenate.

Terrible customer service! Kept my Mothers chair and ottoman for over 2 months wouldn't return phone calls or answer phone, no one ever at the business. Finally got ahold of Eddie and had to insist he return her items, he hadn't even started on them after over 2 months!! He was unapologetic and rude! Will never do any business with him and would never recommend him!

Eddie is not an honest person. I dropped my chair off on Friday June 3rd and he told me 2-4 weeks. Seemed reasonable because he said he was back logged. I wasn't worried. I called the Monday of the 6th week to check in because it had been so long and he told me it would be done next week. I called the Monday of the 7th week and he said the same thing...it'll be done next week. I called on July 22nd and got a voice recording saying he was on his yearly vacation and would return August 1st. So that brings me today THE 8th WEEK!!! I stopped in because I Saw someone there working. I went inside and there was my chair sitting...it hadn't moved from the spot I placed it when I dropped it off. I asked for my deposit back and I took my chair to a different upholstery shop. I do not like the dishonest and disrespectful way he runs his business. I will never go there again.
