I went to Jamaica two times last year and the food was one of the highlights of the trip. I was so excited to see that there was an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Radcliff. This food was absolutely delicious. There is nothing i can see here to tell you how delicious it is. All I'm going to say is go try it for your self! The food was flavorful and spicy just like I like it! I don't drink beer, but I was pleased to see that they carried Red Stripe. When you arrive to the resorts in Jamaica, one of the first drinks they offer you is rum punch. This restaurant has rum punch!!! It did not disappoint. I took a sip of this drink, closed my eyes, and envisioned myself in Jamaica. The rum punch had me feeling good!!!

When I pulled up and saw a man working a grill beside the building I knew it was gonna be good. I had the curry chicken and a beef patty and it was Heavenly. Perfectly spiced and so tender. The very definition of "fall off the bone". I had a bite of their jerk BBQ chicken from the person I was with and it was so delicious too. Next time I come I might bring a few beef patties home with me, they were so savory and tasty I know I'll be thinking about it for days. They brought the food out quickly, my only complaint is that they initially forgot my beef patty. Luckily that was easily fixed and I was able to get it after I was finished eating. The music they were playing was loud, and I couldn't really hear the man at the register that well, but I mean it wasn't a bad selection of songs. However, if you want to sit down and have a conversation I recommend taking your food to go and talking in the car or at home. I wouldn't let that personal nitpick dissuade you though. Overall it was amazing, I'll definitely come back at some point.

Food was delicious! Service was quick and they brought our food out to the table. It's a laid back restaurant that was playing older R&B music which was a nice blast from the past.

Great food and authentic Jamaican dishes with flavor at a good price. Plus it's the only place in Radcliff and Fort Knox. A must stop for any islander visiting or passing through KY!

One of my favorite lunch spots in town. The chicken is always perfect. The rice and veggies are on point. It all perfectly wraps together with their jerk sauce. There is a few indoor and outdoor tables, but it's rarely packed, which is a shame. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Very good Jamaican food. Just found it though they've been open for a bit. I've always loved Jamaican food, curry goat and oxtail stew when made well can be sublime, like crawfish etouffe, or a Jeff Ruby dry aged bone in ribeye. Anyway back to The Spot. It's a smallish restaurant with booth seating proudly displaying Jamaica's national colors. I think it's a cultural thing, maybe, but I've never been to a Jamaican restaurant where the staff was overly friendly, always kind of get the side eye, lol. No matter because the food is usually amazing and for some of the dishes at The Spot that would be true.Their curry goat and their version of the iconic jerk chicken are some of the best I've had. My favorite Jamaican dish, hands down is oxtail and theirs is good but not as good as others I've had. I recently tried their red snapper, it was delicious and spicy (by choice). It's made to order so it's about a 20 minute wait. You can call ahead for seafood entrees. They offer steamed white rice or rice and beans, cabbage medley and plantains. I've have meat patties, what Jamaican restaurant wouldn't, it seemed homemade but tasted frozen store bought. A nice selection for some Caribbean cuisine.

What can I say? This food is A-mazing. I ordered the below.Jerk Chicken (Large)($15): 2 thighs and 1 leg seasoned by the ancestors and jerk grilled to perfection. Came with rice and peas, cabbage (which was Fire!, so good), and 2 plantain slices. I ordered the 2 beef patty's ($3 each) as well, but they're the ones you get from grocery store. But let me tell y'all about this plate, man!!! This chicken slaps. Thank you for standing up in Radcliff. Easily the best food for miles.

I chose to eat at this spot twice. both times I watched as employees served people of the same ethnic group (jamaican decent) and they open the plate for them to view before having them take their food and bag it. in my case both times they gave me my food without allowing me to view. I noticed that my food portion was much smaller than the others I seen served of the same decent. Not only that, I waited to see how i would be acknowledged....and nothing. for clarity I am of african descent. unacceptable on many levels. food is delicious though! Unacceptable business practices and clear bias. I'll venture out further for my food instead of being treated as such.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. My go to (I consider myself a regular ) is either the oxtail or jerk chicken. Each time I get them with the peas and rice, cabbage and plantains. They never disappoint and it's ALWAYS tender. I can't wait to visit after the renovations!
