On this occasion, my wife and I brought my brother and his wife to dinner. Bruce took our order and brought the food to our table. We shared some grape leaves, Hummus with Pita chips and each couple shared a Hercules lamb and beef gyro, which had a modest amount of meat. It was all good. We finished with a Baklava. I missed seeing Ali, the owner. He is very personable and I think he makes a better gyro with more meat and sauce. I kind of like the ambiance in this older location.They have a military discount which I forgot to request until after I paid. I ordered some Pita chips to-go and got a discount then. This is the best Mediterranean food I have found in Kentuckiana. I trust we'll be back.

We visited Eat a Pita on Bardstown Road, we arrived at noon and there was plenty of on street parking right in front. When you enter, there's a room where you can order and then another side room with seating with comfy pillows and chair and bench seating. It's a bit dark inside but we were greeted warmly and were able to sit immediately. We started with the hummus app ($6) while we decided what to order. The hummus arrived quickly with a large half pound portion with pita bread. I wish the hummus was a bit more creamy, this version was thick and chunky. The pita was a warm and delicious. This menu is extensive, and each item has size options. There's a lunch, regular and Hercules size. Then you can get served on a pita or bed of rice. I ordered the lamb gyro lunch portion on pita with a side of rice ($10.99). The food arrived quickly, my gyro had the traditional flavors but was lacking in gyro meat. There were only a few pieces with an abundance of lettuce and tomato. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't a show stopper either and was a bit bland. The prices were good, but the food wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.

Me and my daughter were in the mood for pitas today so we stopped in for a quick bite. The zeuss fries are absolutely amazing ! Wow!! They are not stingy on their servings. We also ordered pitas but weren't even able to eat them, we were so full from the amazing Zeuss fries. Don't be judgy when you walk in, the food is amazing and large servings. We will definitely be back

The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. Ive had the Mezza platter with gyro bites, falafel and baba ghanouji, everything was goodness. The pita chips are always fresh and crunchy. I've had the veggie kabob and the pita nachos 10 out of 10 I recommend! They have vegan and gluten free options as well.

Food is okay. The falafel was not crispy, quite flat and soggy. The gyro meat was a bit dry. Everything else was decent. The price point is okay. They do offer a discount if you pay with cash. We'd probably try again if we're in the area but it's not the best in the city and really we'd only go out of convenience.

FANTASTIC.This is the spot I hit when I'm near Bardstown, even with so many great restaurants around that part of town. It is making my mouth water just thinking about it!I get falafel and extra tzatziki on the side, salads, hummus, chicken wraps. . . So many veg options. Great staff. Call ahead, park out front, and they'll bring it out to your car.

I usually eat in or do a pick up. Not feeling well so I did a doordash order. The food was hot and the chicken on the kabobs were super tender.I also tried one of their soups for the first time and it was amazing. They give you so much rice, I added some to the soup just because I like rice in my soup.Definitely two meals depending on how hungry you are I do wish there was less onion and more veggies on the kabobs. Not a complaint just a personal preference.

I was very shocked that he took time out of his busy day because he didn't want his establishment to be viewed as something that didn't represent him or his values. I was under whelmed. The staff were incredibly kind but unfortunately the food fell short. I ordered the chicken kebab and nothing on my plate was fresh. Everything looked and tasted as if it was all reheated. It had that 2nd or 3rd day take out in the back of the fridge reheated taste.
