Durham’s Pit BBQ

This is a nice place with super friendly staff and good blues music playing in the background!I orderedthe pulled pork sandwich with apple slices. The pork is amazing with great smoky flavor and "bark" mixed throughout. The Apple side dish is very tasty with a hint of sugar and spices!Great place!! Prices are good too.

Wow ! Haven't had BBQ like this in a long time. This made my night. I was just driving through the city. This is going to be a traditional stop when I drive through London. I am not sure what is better the ribs or the brisket. But I think the bourdon baked beans is what I am going to crave the most. I think I have some googling to do after this meal to try to at least try to figure out how to make this and make up the emptiness these bourbon beans are going to leave in my soul after this meal.

Good food and they had a whiskey in stock I'd been looking for a while. I think there's a different menu after 7pm.

A wondful and professional staff experience.. You could smell the wonderful food soon as got out of the car. Their pulled pork is spot on!! The sauce is out of this world, pork was moist and not dried out like some other BBQ places. I would highly recommend pulled pork nacho's and the sweet heat sauce is a treat for the taste buds. I'm so impressed with the brisket, it was the best, most tender, flavorful brisket I ever had. Great job and I really love the down home hospitality I was shown. Love this place and will be back

As a retired military couple, my wife and I have had the best BBQ our great nation has to offer during our adventures in Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Kansas City, and Tennessee (our forever home).Durham's ribs are world class - the best we have ever had! My wife ordered the ribs and was speechless through most of her meal other than "mmmm, oh my gosh, and WOW" slipping out. She shared two of her ribs with me and I wholeheartedly agree! The smoke flavor and dry rub was spectacular - I personally would never eat these ribs with sauce... they don't need it!I ordered the brisket and pulled chicken plate. The brisket was very moist, tender, and flavorful. The chicken held smoke flavor well and was the perfect canvas for their selection of house sauces. All of the sides were tasty and we highly recommend the baked beans. The staff was so welcoming, polite, and helpful. They clearly take pride in their product and love what they do. This is right off I-75 and worth stopping I'm anytime you're coming through Kentucky!

April 2022 - Thank goodness Yelp directed me to this place! Many of the national chains had lousy reviews and so we took a chance on Durham's Pit BBQ. I had a Brisket BBQ sandwich and fries. My mother had a Pork BBQ sandwich and coleslaw.The food was outstanding! The brisket was tender, crunchy, spicy, etc.The service was quick and friendly. Busy place.

We love some good BBQ and we always find it here! The pulled chicken nachos and tater wedges are my favorite. Never had a bad experience at Durhams, it's always top notch with taste and customer service when we go!

My husband and I are on our way to South Carolina and found this place when searching maps for places to eat. I wholeheartedly agree with every 5 star review on here. This was the best barbecue we've eaten in a long time! My husband ordered the two meat as did I so we could share and taste several different things. The ribs are so tender and flavourful, no sauce needed! The brisket was the best I've ever had. Potato salad, baked beans, corn nuggets and green beans were all very good.We drive this way frequently and will definitely stop again.

We stopped here after a long day of driving. What a great stop. I love smoked wings and these didn't disappoint.I also have some turbo picky eating kids that were able to find something that even they enjoyed....even a hotdog. Overall great food. Attached bar had great cocktails as well.

Great barbecue. Place is a little run down and the green beans were over cooked. But meat and sauce was good.
