Dupre Catering is five star in every way...delicious healthy food, excellent staff and management and always a friendly smile!

I've encountered Dupree Catering at events on numerous occasions. Today they catered the open house at Prive MedSpa. A lovely and varied buffet of small bites, cheeses (one a large wheel of brie with a raspberry coulee and pecans), a wonderful grilled Mediterranean vegetable platter, dips with homemade sweet potato and tortilla chips, and several desserts (chocolate espresso cookies, oh my). Everything was excellent and perfectly prepared.

I frequently attend catered events, but at Ashland Henry Clay Estate's Lawn Party event on Saturday, I experienced the best catered meal that I have ever had. It was buffet style. I don't know if buffet style was the preference to the event or not, but it was perfect. Cheese potatoes, salmon and cucumber dish, peas and asparagus... just to name a few dishes. The desserts were on the table as we arrived around 6:00 and the buffet didn't start until 7, so I passed on the desserts. They all looked excellent, circled around the table though. If I ever find myself in the need for a catering company, I will definitely look up Dupree first... my mouth is watering now!

DuPre Catering has been used by the National Horse Show in Lexington Kentucky for years. Their food, staff and top notch professionalism are unlike anything I've ever seen. Simply the best and most delicious!Jennifer B.

Dupree has been an exceptional partner for our events at University of Kentucky Libraries. Amanda is always responsive to our needs, prompt in providing menu ideas, and open to special requests. Most importantly, she ensures that service always begins on time and is executed with perfection. Dupree's staff, without fail, has been professional, friendly, and experienced at high-end service. Without fail, our event guests rave about the food's taste, creativity, and presentation. Dupree is definitely a five-star vendor.

Dupree Catering was awesome to work with from the tasting to the actual meal at my wedding. Heidi is a wonderful coordinator and was on top of everything we needed. The servers were great and food was delivered hot and ready to eat. Our wedding was a big hit with all of the attendees. Thanks for all of your help everyone.

Let me begin by saying that, individually, everyone at Dupree was nice -- even assisting with a week-of change in the color and number of table linens. And the set-up / take-down of the event was professional. That being said, I would not return to them again. 1) I was disappointed with much of food. Some of it was very good -- can't go too far wrong with smoked salmon, or fresh-to-order eggs. But I found a lot of it too be very bland. For example, the duck eggs egg rolls did not really taste like there was any duck. Really, all of the fried food tasted almost identical. Nothing seemed to have any spice. Perhaps it would have been better if I had not expected actual cooking -- apparently they do a fine job baking some brie, and putting together crudites, or bagels and cream cheese.2) They company changed the plates they used from the plates they had used at all of the other similar affairs (and I had been to many similar events). They changed them from regular 7-8" luncheon plates to these tiny 5" appetizer plates -- so no one could put more than two items on their plate at a time. I had intended for my event to feel low-key but sumptuous -- instead, the fact that no one could put anything on their plates made the entire event seem very cheap. To be honest, I was absolutely mortified.The reviews are so good that I just assumed that it would excellent. I regret that I did not look into other options.

Great food and service! Every time I've had Dupree at a wedding or event, it's been the right temperature, consistently delicious food, and hospitable service! Tom the owner is great too. Wonderful catering company! Reliable and delicious.

Irresponsible vendor. I called them 3 times in Mid December to finally spoke with the event coordinator Annie. She claimed that she was busy with the holiday and asked that I called back after the holiday. I emailed and called her in January, she said she was going away for vacation. ONE WEEK AFTER her vacation, I still didn't hear anything from her. So, I called and emailed her again, she said she would like to set up a phone conversation, which I did. She didn't call on the day of phone conference, I called her and no one answered. So I called the president Harriett, of course, no one answered. 2 hours after the supposed phone conference time, I called, and she said she was in a meeting, will call back in 10 mins. Not unexpectedly, she didn't call me back AGAIN. Harriett called me one hour later asked me what the problem was, I explained to her the situation, Harriett told me Annie was there, and if I would want to talk to her, then I heard some noice at the background, and Harriett whisper "no" on the other hand. And Harriett said sorry and hang up the phone. They have wasted my time, and all my wedding planning was held up because of them. They don't really care for business!
