There aren't enough great things to say about this B&B. From it's location to the hosts themselves, we left Louisville knowing that the stay itself was a highlight of the trip. Christopher went above and beyond to ensure myself and my guest had a great stay. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were the only ones in the house for the evening - Christopher brought up our baggage, offered complimentary beverages, and gave us the full rundown on great activities to do for not only the evening, but the weekend too. Breakfast was amazing! We expected a muffin/bagel spread and fruit and instead were surprised with a full dining experience downstairs. Chris's parfaits? Best around - no lie! And on our final morning at DuPont he dropped by and hand-delivered breakfast in to-go boxes in case we needed to hit the road quickly. While this location is beautiful and there's a ton of charm and history around every corner, it was truly the service provided that made this stay so memorable. Next time we head to Louisville, we'll be booking here for sure! PS - We loved the room we stayed in, the Speed room, it was a great size for the two of us and the bathroom is huge. However, if you get the chance you should totally book the DuPont room. We were able to check it out and the space was incredible!

Beautiful! Treat yourself to a Victorian mansion experience that is relaxed and feels like home...only glamorous. We stayed for a weekend with my sisters. The rooms are gorgeous. Opulent. Glamorous...but it feels like you got invited to good friends house for the weekend. Jane, the inn keeper was so relaxed and friendly. She is a fantastic cook, you will enjoy her wonderful breakfast each morning. She baked cookies every day for you to munch. There was a charge of wine at all times and comfortably elegant sitting rooms to meet other guests or just hang out on your own. Breakfast is served to you on beautiful china with silver cutlery and crystal stem ware. Don't be scared away! It's homey and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire place. Rooms all have private baths and most have fireplaces. Period furnishings and decor. Located in historic Old Louisville. You will be minutes from downtown. The owners/ InnKeepers are so open and responsive to any needs you may have. There is courtyard parking in the back but also plenty of street parking available.

My wife and I picked this location because of how beautiful it is. It met all of our expectations and more. The cook was awesome and breakfast was great, the service was out of this world and the room left us in awe. Every amenity was available to us and we had wine waiting on us. Our wedding was awesome and our stay was magnificent. The house was very colorful and paintings were glamorous. We highly recommend The Dupont Mansion for your stays. Thank you to the Dupont staff for making our stay a memorable one!

This is beautiful bed and breakfast. This is the type of city mansion that you'd envision staying at. The amenities lovely. Decanters of wine throughout the whole house. Access to a full kitchen with snacks and drinks. When we walked in and heard the player piano it was very welcoming. Then to walk to the back yard and see how lush it is was very relaxing.

As the innkeeper at the DuPont Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Louisville. Ky, I would like to invite you to come stay with us. Our B & B is outstanding and was built by the DuPont brothers, Betterman and Uncle Freddie, to house their up and coming young men and their families so that they could learn all about the numerous businesses ran by the DuPont family. What a wonderful place to live for a few years then move on and then another family would move in. I love the fact that my home was built with a purpose in mind and a great plan. The home is not only beautiful but bright, airy, charming and just that, a home away from home.I love living here and plan to spend many years in Old Louisville doing what I do best, spoiling my guests. Genny Nuce, Innkeeper
