nice place. food good. The place looks the samea= as fifty years ago. The cook is interesting and has a lot of stories to share.

Hands down the place to eat, go out of your way to eat here. We are Travelers and have been all over always checking out the hole-in-the-wall places for hidden gems. This has to be one of the best places we have eaten. Historic site that serves the best BBQ (with or without sauce) sandwiches; the meat is slow smoked and cooked on site. The smell is wonderful. I ordered pulled pork and My wife had the very good brisket sandwich. Eddie, the owner and cook, gave us a sample of the brisket; as they say "like butter". The rustic charm is to be embraced and appreciated. A wonderful gem in the rough.

Doing some sightseeing, went to Cumberland Falls and Old Mill Springs in Monticello and found this gem of a place. Best brisket I've had in a long time. They have brisket, pork, bologna, chicken, and sausage. All smoked by the owner. The brisket was so juice and tender! This place sits right across from the entrance to Old Mill Springs. If you are ever close by you really need to check it out!

Great brisket. Smoked right. This place is a local gem. I go by this place very often when I am at the lake and it is a local favorite. Try a meal or take home a variety of the smoked meats and create a wonderful meal around them. Plenty of room if you are pulling a boat so put some in your cooler on the way home !

The best barbecue I have ever had. I had the brisket which was so tender. The sauces were so good. The building I believe pre dates the civil. You have try it for yourself. You will agree that being there is worth the drive!!
