Drake's - Owensboro

Had the Buffalo chicken quesadilla and mango cart to drink. The quesadilla was good, alot of chicken but missing flavor. For something labeled spicy, it wasn't at all spicy to me.Great atmosphere and staff were great.

This place had music in the background with music videos playing as well as sports on the big screen. You can sit at the bar or in one of the tables. Their staff is friendly but wasn't really told to wait or seat yourself. For someone who hasn't been here had to ask if it's open seating. It's pretty casual. We ordered burgers. I got the morning glory burger: pepper jack cheese, fried egg, bacon, fire roasted salsa, and fresh cut toppings also with Tator tots as my sides. The Tator tots were ok kinda hard and not seasoned much and the burger was good didn't care for the salsa. Hubby got Drakes Patty Melt: cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, horseradish-Parmesan mayo on toasted country white bread with fries as sides. He was sad he didn't get a side of pickle. We had to ask for napkins and finished our meal with no refill to our water.

Nice outdoor patio that filled up after a local school function. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the patio punch, which was recommended by the server. It was sweet yet refreshing with fresh fruit floating in it, yummy. My friend had the steak medallions with fries. He said they were good and what you would expect from a small piece of steak. I had the sliders with lettuce, tomato and pickles on the side. Also asked for mustard which came at the same time, yay, sweet potato fries were waffle cut and ok. We will definitely be back to sit on that patio before the weather gets too warm!

Ordered delivery and was impressed! The food was all great, with the exception of the chicken in the Buffalo chicken wrap which had a funky taste to it. Otherwise, the blt salad, fries, and cookie dessert were all fantastic- and everything traveled well which was a nice bonus.

I visited this location with a rather large party (think 10+). A downside is that the restaurant acoustics are not the greatest so it can be hard to hear/talk especially with the music in the background. However, we had phenomenal service. The food came quickly and correct. The waiter made sure everyone always had drink refills and it was a very pleasant visit all around. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Drakes was so good! The service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, the place is pretty big and open. One was just built back at home and I will definitely be visiting.

We went at 6:30 on a Friday night with 6 adults and a baby. We were seated immediately, our drink orders were take. And delivered just as quickly! Hubby and I shared Filet Medallions with Mac and cheese and a salad and were NOT disappointed!! The drinks were strong on alcohol and ice, but very good! The people with us had burgers, chicken, various sides, and a crab Rangoon sushi. It was all huge portions and delicious, with one exception: The sweet potato waffle fries were way over done and more like chips. But the burgers were phenomenal, the chicken breasts juicy and tasty, the broccoli was steamed and seasoned perfectly! No one was disappointed! Bring one to Nebraska, specifically Papillion! This place was great! Sorry no pics... we all were hungry!!

When in to order out, they were moderately busy, but I got my order in less than 10 min.I got J.B.'S BONELESS BITES they are exactly as describe in the menu. These are fantastic, but I didn't get the honey mustard sauce I got ranch dressing in stead. Dip the bites in ranch then the scallions yummy! I also got the CALIFORNIA COBB with chicken: any salad with is a winner for me. You all know I like corn in my chili, cornbread, and salsa and Richelle does not fully embrace the benefits of a little corn. They do not skimp on the chicken on this salad, wow. liked the citrus vinaigrette but I think they missed the avocado & blue cheese crumbles on my salad. Maybe ordering the ranch with my naked wings confused them cause most ranch dressing folks are not blue cheese dressing folks too, we'll I am.I love that they have sushi and rolls, maybe for the next time.

Drakes never disappoints! but in this day it did. Which is a shame. Service. I know I know, everyone is short staffed but when there's one bartender managing two bars in two seperate rooms... it's not good. Waited to be asked if I was dining in or out?, waited for bill, couldn't find bartender for missing part of food, waited on bill, just waited. What's frustrating is I saw the bartender just sitting in bar stool scrolling on phone. Now... with that said... food was spot on. Sushi roll (dynamite) was awesome. And finally tried the fried chicken sandwich. Which was huge, crunchy and really good. But had to wait for sauce bc it came dry. If this was my first time, I wouldn't go back. But...I am hoping this was just an off night. Bc the rest of locations are on point.

first of all when i went to eat there with my friends the worker had an attitude for no reason like what? then she disappeared for 25 minutes and didnt bring us our food for an HOUR? then when we got our food she gave a dirty look for no reason. i didnt even say anything to this lady and when i looked into the backroom i saw her eating food? like omg what type of person is this? and we just left because i didnt even wanna seal with her anymore (dw we paid)
