Drake's Hurstbourne

We started with the buffalo chicken dip the chips are spicy in a good way. My wife went with the mini cheeseburgers with fries. While I went with the salmon meal with broccoli. This is a Military friendly location.

Drakes is always a vibe, crowded but a vibe! I had the turkey Swiss avocado with tater tots! I paired it with a loose goose but made with Don Julio tequila. My companion had the mini cheeseburgers with fries and paired it with Drake's Hurricane. Food was hot and fresh! Drakes is always on the list when out shopping, craving, or indecisive moments! The patio was open on this pretty day!

After the Cards game, we decided to visit Drake's after having issues at White Castle. It was a sign to eat better food anyway. Ha!I first mentioned that I'm Deaf to the server. She replied, "No worries. I understand, and I will work with you." I lip-read, but that can lead to misinterpretation and clarity. A notepad and pencil work best unless I come across someone who knows ASL at a conversational level. Next, we ordered hamburgers and French fries--Dad's favorite food. There were zero issues, and Dad had never been to Drake's and was very impressed. Thanks, Drakes, for saving the afternoon.

So, full disclosure, Drake's is our go to date night place. We've tried Harry's and Malone's but Drake's is definitely our favorite of the 3 restaurants. We go at least once a month. I'd be lying if I told you that we had not had a bad experience or two on some of our visits. We've had bad service a couple of times and luke warm food a couple of times.With that stated, 99% of the time we go to Drake's we can always expect amazing service and a great selection of food. The service at Drake's is attentive, friendly, and never short handed. I'm always impressed to see other servers helping their colleagues by running food while it's hot. It seems like such a simple concept and yet it rarely happens. Drake's seems to have some sort of formula that encourages servers and staff to work together. I've worked in the restaurant business and I can tell you that it's rare to not have tons of drama behind the scenes. They seem to have great retention too because I always see familiar faces.Moving to the food selection, I have never had trouble finding something. In fact, I usually have to debate between different meals. They have delicious sushi, steak, salads, burgers, chicken, appetizers, burgers of the month, and so much more. The runners make sure the food comes to the table hot most of the time and I have rarely had to deal with soggy fries.I HIGHLY recommend Drake's if you're looking for a date night hang out.

Good food and good people. Darien was my waitress and she did great. I got the wrong order mixed up with somebody else. We both had burgers but she made it fun. I enjoyed my meal. All was well.

We went to Drakes last week on Tuesday night. It wasn't a long way to get in. The ambience was fun and exciting. I enjoy Drake's atmosphere. The service was top-notch. Our waitress was a pleasant person I brought is our food. And the food was pretty darn good as well. I got the chili and my wife got chicken sandwich and both were pretty darn good. We will be back.

This was not good service tonight bar tender was terrible. Never asked about another drink, never said why he gave my girlfriend a pinch of Gluten Free soy sauce. I guess we made due smh never going back there

Today was the first time my and I ever ate at Drake's. We were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. The server was great at her job thur are visit. The food was so delicious I was I had room for more to eat. I must say the portions of food were like we was in Vegas. This restaurant was something to tell others about. Best food I've had from a food restaurant in a long while.

Drake's hits the spot for so many things - when I'm in the mood for burgers, sushi or drinks with friends. This was our first visit at the Hurstbourne location because it's a family favorite. There was a crowd so we put on our name on the list and we received a text when our table was ready. This gave us time to visit Staples nearby and come back!Mini cheeseburgers are so good. Drake's does an awesome smash burger. You get a side and our fave is the crinkle fries. Plenty of beers on tap plus cocktails. Love their cucumber gin drink! Patio seating available during nice weather.

The menu has a lot to choose from and quite a mix. We ended up ordering a couple sushi rolls and the pretzel appetizer. The pretzels were good - nothing special. They serve them with cheese and yellow mustard. I would have preferred a honey mustard - the yellow was too overpowering, but the cheese was good. The sushi was a pleasant surprise. Definitely not the best, but enjoyable. The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush. Pleasant servers. They have some outdoor seating as well. The restaurant was clean and the booths are roomy.
