Downtown Pizza Pub

This is solid pizza! Will definitely be back!Large seating area with a nice bar area too. The place was clean - food for a family lunch or dinner.I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken pizza and the pesto breadsticks. Perhaps the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that my left overs weren't as good warmed up as they were out of the oven.

I took my wife and son to Downtown Pizza last night and incurred the following issues.Service: Although it was busy, our server was absolutely snotty towards us. she said there would be a 30 minute wait. Crowded? Short handed? The server wouldn't say. She was not very friendly. We ordered a large pizza and a regular sized cheese bread. We asked if we could get the cheese bread before the pizza and she obliged. We ordered drinks and talked baseball before our order arrived. After 30 minutes, the server , very distant and coldly brought us our order. We received a 12 inch pizza (large?) and our cheese bread at the same time. After some conjuring we finally got the attention. She explained that this WAS our large pizza. Other servers I asked said it was a medium size, not a large. We were charged for a large pizza. Food: The pizza we received was over cooked and low on the ingredients we asked for. 3 slices had no ingredients at all! It was one lousy pizza. The cheese bread was dried out as if it was place under a heating lamp for too long. I was tired from the day I had, we ate the pizza and left. I did not leave a tip and signed the slip with a happy face and we left. Ironically, this is military appreciation week. I wore my Patriotic T-shirt and Navy hat as I am military retired. I never asked for a discount of any kind and received none. I don't care, I just want to enjoy pizza with my family and go home. I left no tip as a tip is to ensure good food and service. We received none of these. We will not be back and I implore anyone else not to patronize this so-called restaurant. There is a small pizza place a couple of miles away called Eubank Pizza. They make great pizza and the staff is very friendly. All we wanted to do was something different and we always liked Burnside, KY. We live in Somerset, KY, just on the other side of the Cumberland River bridge. Burnside is a wonderful little town, it's too bad about Downtown Pizza.

Great Hot Pizza, Excellent Service. Child Friendly place. We started off with the Wings, as I always try wings everywhere they are offed. The Orange Flavored one as a unique you will find with wings. However, I preferred their Sweet Chili ones. The Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch was fantastic but lacked some heat. The Supreme without the ham, is my preferred option. Others in our party had some of their sandwiches, The rare Stromboli is a jewel in the sandwich election, with some amazing marinara sauce. The Hoagie buns are toasted just right with out any burn or scorched marks on them. They have a traditional flair of a pizzeria from years ago with a relaxing atmosphere. Just open and the staff appears to be on top of their game. Defiantly worth a try for all Pizza Consieuors

Best taco pizza hands down! We have also enjoyed the pesto cheese sticks. Service has always been great.

Excellent pizza and sandwiches. My daughter got a cheese pizza and garlic bites. I got the stromboli sandwich and salad bar. Everything was great. We'll definitely be back.

One bite everyone knows the rules! I give them a solid 8! Good crunch and under carriage too.

Ok, on a first bite basis, great crust. So far so good. They even have taco pizza which I will have next trip. Good crust

Pizza is above average. It compares to Mellow Mushroom without the high price. The apps are reasonably priced. However, they charge for credit cards and force you to put your takeout order on a credit card if it is over 50 dollars. Management needs some customer services classes.

Food was good, however they add fees to your order and dont tell you ahead of time. My total for 2 lg pizzas was told 43.42 when we arrived to pick up the pizza we were told the total was 50.58. When we asked about it they said it was admin fees and fees for using our card. What a rip off. We wint be going there any more. Between all our family ordering tonight. We spent around $120 this isbthe last time we will be patronage this restaurant.

Very nice cauliflower crust. Service is quick and place is clean. Will be back soon
