Stale chips.. salsa taste like it comes from a can...The tacos can be only bought in numbers of 3.Which means it's probably microwaved food from a zip lock bag in groups of 3.I wanted 4 tacos .. a carne asada, chicken, Al pastor, chorizo...But settled for 3 Al pastor. And yes it was dry... tasted like it's been sitting on refrigerator for a couple days.There is toMuch competition in town to serve microwaved food.Do not waste your money here. Go to a good truck.

We walked over on a recommendation from the Holiday Inn Express night manager and couldn't be more grateful for the comfort food and kind service. They were closing in 45 minutes and brought our food quickly. Please note that they serve generous portions, so you will likely have leftovers. My ten-year-old German-American nephew thanked everyone in Spanish on his way out which culminated in a fist bump from the manager. Thank you, Don Señor!

We used to visit this restaurant at least twice per week, but shortly after opening their new facility, things took a dramatic downward turn. The service has diminished, the food quality has fallen, and the general accuracy of orders is horrible.I simply find it difficult to understand why a very basic order cannot be made correctly. If this problem was a one time occurrence, I would probably just mark it up as a rarity. However, the problem happens almost 50% of the time we place the order. It is just so frequent, that I will just find another place that can provide my orders correctly.

Even though there at least a couple of other Mexican restaurants in Winchester, I was almost feeling sorry for Winchester and their lack of options. I've been to the other Mexican restaurants there, and those were old and lacking. This one is newer and seems cleaner than the others. I know, I know, you never know what the kitchen looks like, but if the dining decor and cleanliness are indications of the kitchen, then I'm happy. My mom won't even step out of the car, if a restaurant looks old or dirty. Obviously, I don't have that issue, but that's irrelevant here anyways.It is in an unassuming location, in the same strip mall as a nail salon and Sears. When I walked in there were several gentlemen at the register area, they all looked at me like I had four heads before saying anything. The hostess stand was a bit over from that area. Next time, I'll avoid that awkward silent stare down and head straight for the hostess stand. That's the end our my slight complaints here. The menu was plentiful, including pictures... I loved that, because we know us Yelpers love us some pictures. The lunch options are even offered on the weekends which I loved. I decided to go with the lunch portion of Pollo Bandido, at $6.49, I thought it was a steal. I dislike rice, so they let me substitute the rice for some fries. Side note... Heinz ketchup would've been nice, but I promised that I wouldn't complain, so I will be grateful that they at least had a generic version of ketchup. Everyone else in my party had chicken fajitas and they raved about them. I must say that they were huge, especially for lunch portions. Our waiter was extremely efficient and nice and joked around in Spanish with my husband. I really need to learn Spanish. He even brought out extra salsa bowls without rolling his eyes, like some places do when I ask. Side note, I like to double dip, so I want my own bowl of salsa... TMI, I know, but now you know.

This was a decent place in the past. The past few times it was bad. Today was the last time. The salsa is watery and bland. The queso tasted off as If they added milk or flour to stretch it. The food was edible bit not great. We had fajitas and the meat and veggies were cut into very small pieces so they were over cooked and very greasy. The final bit of icing on the cake is that they now charge 3% more if not paying with cash. This part would t stop me from going back, but the bad food will. They should just change the prices or offer a cash discount.
