Generous helping of your choice of meat. I recommend the lengua here. Two shells, so the tacos are unlikely to split.

This place is authentic Mexican food at its finest. The street tacos were made with homemade corn tortillas and very fresh ingredients. I also had 7 mare soup which was a tasty blend of muscles, prawn, crab and tilapia. The only complaint here is the crab only consisted of a tiny claw and arm that not much meat could be salvaged from. Service was fast and friendly. The place is small but cozy and had a couple TVs playing sports broadcasts. Highly recommended if you like authentic Mexican food.

This is a new location for this restaurant that has been in Owensboro for a few years if I do recall. We heard some good reviews about this place so we decided to try it. I heard that they are very popular for their street tacos and I must agree that I loved their street tacos. My boyfriend got the rice steak chicken and shrimp dish and it was fairly good. The margarita that I got was strawberry on the rocks and it was really good and had decent amount of alcohol. Which is what I like. The atmosphere was OK. It's still a fairly new place so that probably explains it being fairly dead however I do think this would be a pretty cool place for downtown Owensboro when the weather gets warm. Overall this place I think will do just fine. Maybe offer some deals though to attract more customers.

First time visiting this restaurant today with some friends. We were there at 1PM on a Monday. I'll keep it simple. Food quality was excellent, portions quite large, really friendly and attentive staff. I had the seafood tacos and they were very good. The corn tortillas were perfect. Messy but good (messy can=good). My friends loved their dishes as well. I have to give the staff a major thumbs up. They actually seemed like they had a vested interest in us enjoying our dining experience. It came through loud and clear. Loved it.It was a great experience so I'll definitely be back!

Positives: It's the only place in town that seems to have, shall we say, traditional style tacos. Corn tortillas, a variety of meat fillings, cilantro, onions, and your choice of red and green salsas. And I really liked the lengua. (The rating is based on these two things) It was a nice, friendly atmosphere. The horchatta was good. The tacos are a little bigger than usual and are hearty, so you don't need that many to fill up. Negatives: Other than the lengua, the rest of the tacos were probably a 3 out of 5. It's on a one way street which can make: finding it the first time, especially at night, a little tricky. Conclusion: For a taste similar to what you might find in Mexico, this is a good place to go. I particularly recommend the lengua.

In my opinion. This place has the best street tacos in town. The owners are wonderful people. All the Mexican-American help are great people. The food is very reasonably priced. Never had their mageritia, heard it's awesome.
