Dollar Tree

This particularity location is on the smaller side. When it's really busy (weekends) there really isn't a lot of room to move--which pisses me off, i'm claustrophobic. Never any real issues with this place though. Employees have always been nice. Products are usually good. I say usually because i've bought spray air freshener twice and the bottles have been broken and not worked, had to throw them out. Good for cleaning supplies and birthday stuff like wrapping paper and cards. I do get irritated sometimes it seems like they're always out of garbage bags here.

This store is always messy, even before the pandemic. I used to love visiting Dollar Tree stores in all the other states where I've lived or visited, but this one in this small town REALLY NEEDS a revamp and/or better management to clean it up in there. It doesn't lend itself well to browsing due to the mess and the tightness of the merchandise and shelving units plus the shoppers with carts. Better lighting and presentation would also be a plus. This store could be amazing, especially since it's the only one in Richmond. Part of the fun of Dollar Tree stores are the cool items you get which include craft supplies, washi tape, beauty products and every day items. There's a whole YouTuber community dedicated to shopping hauls from Dollar Tree, but I don't even bother watching or participating anymore because of the state of this location. Nice people the last time I went inside, however, I didn't find what I was looking for and didn't feel comfortable enough to browse for any cool stuff. That ultimately hurts the bottom line for the store, so consider my suggestions and you'd probably get a lot more business.

I would like to give it 5 stars and I would like to give it a 1 star. They do have a lot of products. My grandchildren love to go and with a couple of dollars each they have a blast picking out treats. I would give it a one or a zero for the most disgusting restrooms that I have ever seen. In the womans there was diarrhea all over the back of the toilet. So I went in the mens. It had A cracked toilet seat and no toilet paper. So I decided to hold it till I got home. One more thing every thing isn't a dollar any more its all becoming 1.25.

If I could give less stars I would. Dollar tree became.dollar twenty five tree and now without you knowing you can be charged 3.00-5.00 without being told..and they do not give refunds. I went into my new 1.25 store to look around and see what's new. I found a spray bottle of Zep and bout it. As I was leaving a lady came in saying she was xharged.5.00 for a item. So when I got to my car I checked and I was charged 5.00 for a item too. So I go back in and hear the check out girl telling the lady no refunds. So we both ask for the manager who ran into the back. She sends out another employee to tell us the same thing. We once again ask for the manager. Who FINALLY comes out but doesn't come up front. When I notice her I ask how she can sell items for 5.00. She stats they are now dollar tree PLUS. I remind her it's 1.25 now so she says it again as we are now 1.25 PLUS. So at this time 2 customers decide to add themselves to our problem by telling us to like it or leave. I'm sure one male customer was married to his sister. So after discussing this with cleatus for a few min and his sister/wife getting involved. I told the manager she can keep her zep and my 5.00. The 5.00 wasn't the problem,it was the lack of concern from the manager. And her lack of involvement when the other customers became involved I'm something that was not there business. I WILL NOT SHOP AT THAT STORE NOW NOR WILL I AT CHRISTMAS TIME WHEN MY COMPANY SENDS ME TO BUY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS FOR OUR PARTY. AND I WONT GO TO THAT STORE WHEN IM BUYING HALLOWEEN CANDY FOR MY COMPANY EITHER...CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS
