Traveling for work and wanted something easy. A short walk from the hotel led me to Docs. Fairly simple menu. Plenty of bourbon to choose from. My waitress was attentive and was quick to take my order. Food was good.Wish I had stayed for more bourbon as it's a neat bar with great ambiance. Would return next time to Louisville.

Decided to grab early cocktails and apps before a comedy show. Didn't have a reservation but Andy and Roselin quickly put a 10 top together for us. Had a table across from the kitchen and pass which had a great atmosphere . Leonard was on it for drinks and food suggestions. He did an exceptional job all evening. Mostly manhattans and old fashioneds went down in the few few rounds which were very well crafted. We had some Chesapeake oysters which were fresh and delicious. We shared some ginormous nachos with bruiscut and pulled pork. Smoked sausage sliders and pretzles with beer cheese.Note: gratuities are added for groups of 8+Very highly recomendedSlainte!!

If you're looking for BBQ and Southern fare in a lively, bustling setting, Doc Crow's is the place for you! With many meat and seafood options (there's an oyster bar!), you're bound to find something tasty here. Are you looking for a place to enjoy a low to mid-volume conversation with someone while you eat? This isn't the place! Are you willing to shout a little at times, perhaps sample some bourbon while you're at it? This is the place for that! I ordered the fried catfish, which came with hushpuppies, sauce, and a small side of slaw. I really enjoyed it - a really hearty dish with great flavor! The others at my table ordered things like beef brisket and pulled pork, and had nothing but praise for their meals. This is a really nice spot for a fun hangout with friends, since the volume is already amplified in the restaurant (at least, it can get that way at dinnertime). It does get quite busy, so I would recommend making reservations.

First time visiting a place on Whiskey Row and this place did not disappoint. They have a massive selection of whiskeys to go with a full bar.The food was really good. The fried pickles were crisp and came with a really good sauce. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. Our server gave us a little history of the place, which is located in one of the original distilleries in Louisville. This place is definitely worth visiting. Lots of great looking items on the menu. You're going to find something you'll love. And if you're a whiskey person; you will absolutely find something you'll love.

My husband convinced me to go here... the food was mediocre at best and the atmosphere could best be described at overwhelmingly loud. Service was okay, but our server was clearly very busy. This place is filled with tourists who are okay with subpar food. Unfortunately we are not okay with it.Overall: we will not be back.

We came here after we checked in at our hotel, picked this place since it was the closest restaurant to where we were staying located in the heart of Louisville Kentucky on Whiskey row . The place was a bit busy but we were greeted right away and they sat us without any reservations. The menu has a lot to choose from delicious southern foods to smokehouse favorites and the cocktails were hard to pick so many to choose from. We went for the Heap n chips which were like loaded nachos, they were delicious definitely one of my favorites. I love fried pickles so this was a definitely order also very good. We each ordered different things from the menu but everything we had was very tasteful.Prices range anywhere from $15-26 depending on what you want. Very intensive menu full of bourbon and whiskey. Our waitress was helpful getting our orders right away. Overall this place has good food and drinks highly recommend if you are in the area.

Nice pub feel restaurant with a large bar and plenty of seating (in all styles - bar, high op tables, and regular height tables). We visited during a Saturday so there was lots of traffic from the Bourbon tourists (including us).Our server's name was Josh and he was super attentive. He made sure we enjoyed everything we ordered right after it would come out. We shared an order of the crinkle cut fried pickles. I prefer this style over the spears. They are served with a dip that was really good. We dived in so fast, I neglected to capture an image of them. We each had the pulled pork sandwich with the side of the Doc's Chips. The sandwich does not come with sauce on it but there is a bottle at the table of a wonderfully sweet bbq sauce and I could douse every bite! The chips were super-spicy. I couldn't eat them all because my mouth was on fire. But if you like spicy chips, I'm certain you would like these...there was a nice paprika flavor before the heat sets in. I recommend this place - it's casual with a full menu of items (including salads!) so there's something for everyone.

Smoked chicken was their best thing, the hushpuppies seemed a day or so old and were tough. Baked beans were pretty good. The fried pork chop and the quesadilla were served cold with room temp mashed potatoes. The staff were nice but service wasn't great. Our food took an insanely long amount of time to come out as did our drink orders. Overall not a terrible choice, casual spot here with a wide selection of bourbon but disappointing bites and service.

Kinda pricy!! I got the bbq sampler. My girlfriend got the old crow chicken. The best thing I ate all night was the chicken!! Save yourself 13 dollars and get the chicken. The sidesWe're 5 or 6 dollars extra it's an expensive place to eat for the average taste of a bbq in Kentucky !! If your wanting a good place to eat in downtown Louisville give it a try..
