The staff are very friendly and flexible. You never feel like an 'outsider' or intimidated with this crew(even as a total newbie), they are very welcoming. I felt confident, safe, and prepared for every step of the process getting certified. I had a lot of fun with all of my dives, the instructors are great and very good humored. I can't wait to complete more dives, gain more experience, and continue my journey of diver certifications. I feel confident and equipped to, well, dive right in.

Great experience in learning to dive! Emily Purdue was wonderful in helping my wife with this amazing surprise and very patient and knowledgeable trainer. Travis and Lavon made me feel like I've been on lots of trips with them! I can't wait to travel with this fun group. Shop is well stocked and they know ever piece of equipment and someone there has used it or can make excellent recommendations.

How has no one reviewed New Horizons yet? Get over there yesterday and learn to dive!I decided to learn to dive about 3 years ago so I could dive with my dad on a family vacation we were taking. I didn't plan ahead very well and they didn't have a class between when I started looking and my trip, but the owner, Travis, agreed to do a private class. I thought it was great, I learned more than I ever would have thought was necessary and by the end of the class I felt comfortable and well trained. Feeling well trained and being well trained is not the same thing. I learned this on my first trip. I met with my dad and a handful of other divers in Florida to dive a shallow reef off key west. There were 2-3 experienced divers, the rest of us were recently certified novices. As a testimonials to my training, and in no way me bragging about my amazing skills, I think I was the only new diver who setup my equipment correctly, chose the right weights, and had any real buoyancy control. On subsequent dives elsewhere I typically see at least a few new divers absolutely struggling with the basics, and I'm thankful my training was through enough that I never had such struggles.

just spent $465 to have 2 regulators service. I have been diving for over 40 years and never spent more than $100 on servicing a regulator. simply a rip off. I will never give my business to this place again. I will ship my regulator to a reputable dive shop out of state. by the way that is what this dive shop does. they ship to some with the skills need and add$250 to the cost.

Took over 6 weeks for a standard annual repair of my Sherwood regulator. We told them the dates we were going diving. They missed it by a month. We called twice to ask status. They never called us back. We went to pick up and bring to a different repair shop. They said they were done and charged us $300. No date tags on the regulator. We're not confident repairs were even done.
