I got to go into dinner service this time and it was great! I loved eating the pasta carbonara with the chicken. I'm kind of picky on pasta dishes but man this had a lot of flavor. I'm really glad I got it and would highly recommend getting this dish. Additionally the service here was very nice

A very fun casual place. They play 80-90's music which I love. Beer was cold and service was great! I had a loaded potato and salad. Both were very good! Even cloth napkins! A must try when in the Highlands area

I was in need of a sit down meal and not just a fast food stop. I walked and drove around the city for a while and just finally parked and got out Yelp to search nearby places to eat. This was nearby and the menu didn't look too bad. With that, I made my way here and decided to give it a try. When I entered this place appeared huge to me. There was more than enough seating in here to serve all the people on the street that walked/drove by. But, with it being between meals, the place was nearly empty. When I walked in I was asked how many, and as I was dining alone they asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, perfect choice. When I got to the bar the stools were not in the best condition and I chose the one that looked the least likely to fall apart when I sat in it. I was greeted by the bartender on shift and given a menu and asked what I would like to drink. I stuck with water since it was a rather warm day and I had been out all day. While the bartender was busy getting my drink and serving the two other customers at the bar, I looked over the menu. After browsing the menu for a bit I had decided that I already saw what I knew I was going to eat. When the bartender came back I was ready, I told her that I would start with the House Salad and my main course would be Stacked Woodland Farm Meatloaf. The description on the menu makes it sound delicious, plus it's meatloaf, one of the things I enjoy.I sat there and just enjoyed the air conditioning and water. I played on my phone until the House Salad appeared. This salad was hearty. Lettuce combined with a hefty helping of each of the following: avocado, almonds, bacon, eggs, tomato, Monterey Jack cheese, and gouda, dressing of your choice. This salad could have been a meal unto itself. I was about halfway through this salad when my main course appeared. The meatloaf was definitely stacked. It is a mix of pork and bison and was perfectly portioned. The slice of meatloaf sits on top of a piece of thick Texas toast and then has a big helping of smashed potatoes on top of it. But the thing that I think missed on this was the brown gravy. I didn't even notice the tobacco onions, I just noticed the brown gravy. The gravy is supposed to accompany and highlight the meatloaf, but it didn't. I'm not sure what happened to it, but it felt like the gravy may have sat a little too long in the warning area and it started to separate. Or maybe there was too much grease in it. It was piping hot, but it wasn't a homerun. The one thing that was noticeable here too were the other employees. They all looked a little miserable and it showed with how they interacted with each other. That left a little bit of a bad taste in your mouth that didn't come from the food.

First time here and I am surprised at all the five star reviews. IMO the menu is a bit weird with the different food combinations. I'd find something that looked promising and tasty then there would be something in it that I didn't feel belonged. I went with the meatloaf. I've never had bison before and won't eat it again. I think the food is overpriced. I did like the "tobacco fries" that came with the meal. I will not be eating here again.

Fabulous experience for our first time at Ditto's! Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious! Our favorites were the French onion soup, Mama Mia plate, Fettuccini Alfredo, Cuban sliders, and sweet potato fries. Happy Hour brings half price bar drinks (perfect old fashion) and a half price appetizer. They even honor it on Sat.! The restaurant has lovely woodwork and decor. It's an interesting setting with a sandwich shop in back. We had one little issue with our app not arriving on time but overall it was a wonderful experience!

A classic spot that is the same today as it was in the late 90s. Food is reliable but average without spending exhobitant amounts. The fare is classic American food alongside interpretation of Italian, Mexican, and other cuisine. It's very kid and family friendly with lots of room for wiggly kids to spread out. The service is alright - quick with refills, but otherwise pretty standard.

I come to dittos for special occasions. While it may not be the most fancy place, the food, the place and the staff are all amazing. Dittos has so many menu options available. On our visit today we ordered the meatloaf, the chicken carbonara and the chicken salad. Our waitress was kind and got us a kids meal ordered before leaving with our drink order. We were given refills on bread and drinks without even asking. Our food was delivered quickly and very fresh. We will continue to visit dittos as it is one of our favorites places in Louisville!

Born and raised in Louisville over 30 years and this week I tried Ditto's for the first time!A staple in the Highlands, I've passed Ditto's countless times as I went to JCTMS & Highland. Not to mention the nights in my early 20s roaming Bardstown Rd and never once tried Ditto's. However, the verdict after years of waiting is it didn't met the hype but it wasn't bad. I started off with the Brisket Sliders, for entree I went with the New England Style Stuffed Shrimp and my drink of choice was the Woodford Lemon Drop. The sliders were a hit with the chipotle aioli! Although the shrimp were small, the flavor was on point. The prize of the evening though were the Woodford Lemon Drops! A unique style given KY is the home of Bourbon, the drinks were stiff and because of happy hour they were only $6. Atmosphere wise, Ditto's gives off a chill vibe. It's to be noted on given weekend or evening expect this place to be buzzing!

Dittos delivered recently on a lunch date to catch up with a friend. I first went probably 25 years ago and always liked the festive and laid back atmosphere and solid American cuisine. Located on the busy corner of Grinstead and Bardstown Rd, Dittos hasn't changed much from what I remember. Its constancy is endearing! I perused the menu and wondered about a salad (which my friend ended up ordering), but for myself I finally decided on the pork chop. It came after a reasonable amount of time and was a hearty serving! Crowning a dollop of mashed potatoes, it was more than enough for lunch. The sautéed spinach and mushrooms on the side helped me feel virtuous. Service was decent, although we had to wait sometimes for waters to be refilled. When it came time to pay the bill, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was for the tasty and sizeable meal. Nostalgia and familiarity can be comforting, and in the case of Ditto's it certainly was. Check it out for yourself and see if it's an old favorite that stands the test of time for you as well!

We went there on a Saturday night at 7:30 with reservations(did not need them). The four of us enjoy the sliders, ravioli & pasta. It was all very good, prices are normal at around $22 for an entree. A little high, but in the ballpark. Service was good & the restaurant is nice with big private booths.
