Dirty South Pottery

Absolutely love this little gem hidden away in the heart of downtown Winchester. I could literally spend a small fortune in this pottery store decorating my home. This store is not like any other, it's not overwhelming with selections. They have just the right amount of color choices and pieces. They have mugs hanging on the wall as soon as you walk in 2/$30. This was my favorite spot. They are all unique in their own way. Various colors, styles and sizes. This is also the home of the "This might be Bourbon" logo on their mugs. They have a nice little selection of Kentucky mugs. T-shirt's and also sale some hand carved wooden pieces from a gentleman out of Berea. If you're interested in making your own or learning they also offer classes. This is definitely a place we will return to for our home and gifts.

This shop is a great addition to downtown Winchester. It is a locally owned and opporated business that just had their grand opening tonight. The owners Carvel and Ashley have been traveling around Kentucky to different festivals until now. They have an official store front. They have the greatest style and personality in their work. They have a signature color and flare to their pottery. It's more than just functional, it is art. This store is a tribute to their hard work and success. Here you can find anything from gift tags, Christmas ornaments, coffee mugs, bowls, plates, just to name a few. If you can mold it and skulpt it out of clay, you can find it here. They also sell logo wear and the growing popular beard oils and soaps. Impressive.Stop in and see what they have. I think soon they will be teaching classes here as well if I read their Website correctly.

This is a unique beautiful pottery shop full of artistic pottery hand made by the husband and wife team that own it. My wife and I walked into this place and fell in love with the wonderfully glazed pottery throughout the shop. You can even take pottery classes or watch pieces made in the shop by the owners. Also if you have some special request with specific sizes the are ore than happy to create or recreate what you are looking for. I swear if you walk into this shop you will be blown away! My wife and I cant wait to go back and purchase our next pieces of artistic pottery to place into our busy lives to enjoy! Thank you DirtySouthPottery!

Great store and a true asset to downtown Winchester. The pottery is beautiful and unique with vibrant glazes.I live in NC and couldn't catch them open. We finally did the day before Christmas Eve. The owner explained the renovations to the historic building, which included foundation work and renovating the upstairs into an apartment. That's why I couldn't catch them open in the past. Now, they keep regular hours. I purchased a couple of ornaments, a sponge holder(I love it, no more stinky sponges), and a tee shirt for my better half. I wanted a specific mug but they were out. I will be back in a few weeks and can't wait to buy more of their amazing art.

Best pottery shop in town! The coffee cups are funny stamped with their trademark "This might be bourbon". Owners are very helpful and 100% engaged in the community. Thanks Carval for your attention to details.

I love Dirty South Pottery, I have several pieces and enjoy each of them. I have also taken several classes. Each was very informative and fun!!!

I ordered several pieces online. They did everything possible to timely fill/ship my items. I have watched them grow their business on Facebook. I highly recommend them and their pottery. Oh by the way the pottery ordered was awesome.
