These are by far the best steaks in Hazard. The salad bar is always fresh and we absolutely love the free bread with cinnamon butter. I highly recommend the NY strip. Cindy is the best little server. Whenever we are in the area we try to drop in.

Great steaks I think this is the best kept secret in Hazard it is worth fighting the construction to get to it.

Had the 12 Oz steak and it was tender, juicy and great flavor. Best steaks in Hazard. Homemade bread is awesome.

I went here with my parents for my dad's birthday. My dad is in love with their steak. I was surprised, as this seems to be the type of place that is a bar first and a restaurant second. I do believe we were the only people in there eating. We went around 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. There might have been 15 other people there. Looks aside, the food wasn't terrible. I have certainly had better steaks, but their salad bar, though tiny, was actually good. We also had an appetizer called cheese balls that wasn't bad. It was essentially deep fried cheddar cheese, similar to cheese curds. The menu is very small. They don't have much else besides appetizers and steaks, plus a few sandwiches. Strangely, they have frog legs. I tried one, and it was actually one of the best I've ever had. If I ever go back, I will certainly be getting an order. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat here. I felt like the other patrons were staring us down. Like I said, it's a bar first, so those people were probably regulars. The table I was sitting was a little sticky, but the waitress was nice. The people in there were smoking, so that might be a dealbreaker for some. There was a pool table, a few games, and a stage full of musical equipment. I think the kitchen shuts down at 9:00 pm, but the bar stays open until midnight. There was a band getting ready to play just as we left. I think you have to pay a cover charge to stay in the place past 9:00.

Ate there couple days ago, service suck and the food was blah, another disappointment in hazard...

I consider it the best steakhouse in South Eastern Ky. They serve high quality meats, properly cooked which taste great. Basic salad bar and classic sides. They have a nice view over Hazard which is enjoyable at night. A friendly tavern atmosphere.

By far the best steak and salad bar in Hazard. The location is a bit hard to find and hard to get to many steep steps down the hill. If you are going for food you have to go before 8 or you will be overrun with the Bar crowd. Staff are great, very friendly and eager to please. If I had ONE wish it would be for them to move the restaurant up the steps (maybe on the far end of the hotel) and leave the bar where it is. Food is beyond great, but not convenient and entertaining (not in a good way) when the bar fills up.
