Soft opening! Very popular and many pastries were already gone. The cacio de pepe scone was delicious!

FYI: no public WiFi and not conducive for grabbing a coffee & working. Which is likely intentional & totally cool. They have a French bakery vibe and focusing on convo/grab & go makes sense. Lattes are some of the best in the city, they have a little froth on the iced lattes which I love. Every pastry I've had is *perfect*. Yet to try anything other than the bakery but they have a full menu of soups, sandwiches, breakfast meals.

Love this place - a perfect spot to meet a friend, take a break, or do some work. Bright and friendly, with stools and a few tables indoors and a nice enclosed sitting area outside (not just tables stuck on the sidewalk). The staff were friendly and hard working.A nice variety of drinks, and an amazing bakery with fresh, creative treats - carrot cake crossaint, blackberry pistschio croissant knot, and bacon chocolate chip cookies to name a few. I was there for sustenance, though, and got a bacon egg sandwich. It was a big sandwich and had good flavor, and the bun was soft and delicious. Next time I think I'll try a quiche. They looked amazing! I think this will become a regular stop when I'm in Norton Commons.

Busy busy! This neighborhood doesn't have a lot of coffee shop options so I wasn't surprised that they were slammed late morning! They do have indoor and outdoor seating. Modern decor. It seems like a fun place to hang!I had ordered my food online since they were going to switch to the lunch menu in less than 45min.I ordered the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and the sausage and leek quiche. They were kind enough to call me about picking up my order since they were concerned my food would be cold. I appreciate that! The sandwich was large! Very filling too. The bread is where it's at. So good and fresh. And that quiche was melt in your mouth. Beautiful crust. It's so light to eat that it's criminal. When we went in, we stood in line to order our drinks since you can't preorder them online for some reason. I got some kind of latte with honey while my sister got a cortado. Decent. Nothing special but they are really all about their baked goods. I saw lots of people buying loaves and baguettes. We parked right in front. I'm sure a lot of people walk here especially if they live in the neighborhood.I'll be back to try more of their baked goods!

New brunch spot in Norton commons. Order at the counter then take your buzzer and find a spot to sit. Pastries sell out fast, so go early if you want something specific. They have grab and go snacks, drinks, and gifts inside. Indoor/Outside covered seating area is nice and comfortable. Food--The food was fresh and they use quality ingredients. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious without being too heavy. I think it was air fried--the breading was light and not greasy. C&C delight latte--The flavor is in the syrup and I didn't want it super sweet. 1/4 sweet had good flavor and still tasted like espresso.

Truly superb pastries and breads. The care that is baked into each one is evident. My favorite coffee beverage is the Mayan latte as it has chocolate and a little spice. It gets busy, especially on weekends, so come ready to relax and maybe make a new friend while you wait.

Wow. All we've tried so far are pastries. I'm just glad we don't live close to Crust and Crumb or I'd gain 100 pounds and be broke. We've tried numerous different items. We've been to Paris and we loved the pastries there. C&C is very close to just as good and they are definitely at the head of the class in Louisville Metro. A couple of our favorites are the Death By Chocolate croissant and the Cream Puff. Unfortunately the menu changes monthly so your favorites aren't always available. My only critique is the music is way too loud for the space. Between the music and all the conversations going on at tables, it's a little too much.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out!! the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We got an assortment of pastries and a couple of coffee drinks. Everything was exceptional. Both the beverages and the baked goods were out of this world good! We don't live nearby but I will most definitely be making the trek out here regularly!

Awesome establishment in Norton Commons. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The food quality was fresh, even the bread. The outside seating allowed for healthy conversation with friends. I had the Mayan Latte and it was excellent.

So cool to see a business we enjoyed go from selling at farmers markets to their own store. Their bakery items are so fresh and flavorful. The lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet. Their coffee is smooth as well. The store was very busy but they were so efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The layout is nice with an outdoor area. Can't wait to go back

Hands down, there is value, wisdom & loyalty in supporting our communities and the local businesses. Entrepreneurs whom take risk stepping out of the norm to be creative and offer us services and products that not only enhance our life & experiences but allow us to shed the daily grind. With that being said our regular weekend spot is Crust & Crumb Bakery and Café. Crust & Crumb's environment offers a healthy mix of hustle and bustle while offering space for the over-worked, over-charged individual that needs coffee and freshly baked goods! (C&C) leaves me speechless with every bite. EVERYTHING is created in-house, made with the most impressive ingredients with attention to detail. The owner, Debbie is a blessing. Her journey and story are worth hearing. She is down to earth and really takes the time to get to know her clientele and their journeys (the owner to customer relationships are important to her) The cafe itself is extremely clean, organized and ran smoothly! Here is an added bonus I LOVE the deli roast beef sandwich! For myself I prefer this sandwich warm, so my husband ordered the sandwich and asked Debbie if we could have it warm, without hesitation and a smile she granted our wish and suggested to put the arugula on the side. The flavors of the roast and sandwich are off the charts. The Chicken pot pie, sourdough bread and croissants to name just a few have us venturing back for more time and time again. I cannot say enough good things about Crust & Crumb.
