Creatures of Whim

During a visit to UK we had the opportunity to visit Creatures of Whim and their connecting coffee shop. I love, love, love looking at bowls and shelves of crystals, reading their meaning. This shop gave me plenty to browse and prices were competitive to shops in Louisville.Most uniquely for me was the jars of items that are often mentioned for attracting (or shielding) things. A smaller room allowed you to buy scoops of things in smaller amounts. I enjoyed the service there. They were friendly but never hovered or shopped with you, and I appreciate being given space. Anytime I am in Lexington I try to stop in to Creatures of Whim. The store is so perfect for anyone interested in crystals and spirituality. They have a big array of spices and blends for teas and other crafts -- it's so much fun to see what they have. I highly recommend this as a must stop for yourself and to find gifts for friends.

Great little store! All kinds of herbs, crystals, intense, and other items to fulfill your needs. It was very busy when I visited and I felt the need to move along without stopping long, but I'm so glad the shop has good business! I can't wait to go back! I've already planned my next visit and I'm bringing a friend!

Recently visited...they have a new location (right next door to where they used to be). This new location is really wonderful! The whole place seems more spacious, brighter, and has a welcoming feeling. I love the selection of sages, crystals, and herbs/teas. They've expanded what they had the last time I was here, and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend checking out their new place!!!

MY FAVORITE PLACE IN KENTUCKY!! The service is outstanding, nicest people ever. The selection is immaculate, they have everything magic that you may need. The value is absolutely amazing too, everything is great quality. Best place in Kentucky, I'll come back every time.

I've been to this store a couple times and I'm planning on going back, the energy in this place is amazing with lovely staff. Great place to get crystals and many other things.

This place is an absolute gem! The energy inside the store is so warm and happy that I have a hard time leaving once I arrive. The items are largely handmade, local, and fair trade too! If you are starting your spiritual awakening, this is a place you must visit.

Such a beautiful store for stones, lotions, clothes, and all things whimsy. Such friendly staff with a lot of knowledge. Fair prices and so much to choose from.

Absolutely love this place! They are so unique and quirky. Walking in it feels like walking into another world. I will forever come back for all my whimsical needs and just for anything that can make my life a little more witchy. The girl that was working when I came in today was so educated on the tarot cards and stones, it felt like going to a friends house! Love love love this place!
