$50 patriotic flower arrangement.

I chose to order flowers from a local florist for a funeral rather than the huge online florists. I asked for something patriotic since the deceased was a WW II veteran.Sadly, the $65 I spent ($50 for flowers, plus delivery and tax) got me a blue vase, six red roses, three white carnations, and some greenery. They sent me a photo (see below) which I'd requested and that was nice. It's the only reason I gave them three stars (I would have given them two if not for this customer service).I asked if they could add a few more carnations so there would be more white in the arrangement. Carnations are one of the cheapest flowers so I wasn't asking for much, but they sent the arrangement as pictured with just the three. I think the whole thing looks cheap and thrown together, without any creativity at all. I'm very disappointed. I could have gotten two dozen long stemmed roses or a large red, white, and blue arrangement from one of the big online florists. Maybe going with a neighborhood business isn't all it's cracked up to be, or at least it doesn't appear to be with this florist.

We received flowers from Creations By Barbara. The arrangement was beautiful. Here we are, over a week later, and the flowers still look fresh. I highly recommend this florist. The friend that purchased the flowers for us, lives out of state. Creations by Barbara took great care to make our arrangement special.

Beautiful, elegant arrangements! I will never use another florist again. The arrangements here are just gorgeous. They are elegant and look like they would cost much more. Definitely an upgrade from other florists I have used in the past.
