My first impression of this place was terrible. We walked in and instead of being greeted warmly in a CHILDRENS place, we were immediately greeted with that they couldn't support our 2 adult and 1 toddler party, keeping in mind this place is also a shop that sells toys. Their website clearly states they do drop ins and have a drop in table and that was what we came to do. The front staff started to list off what they couldn't support, because they had a party in the back, despite the drop in table LIKE THEIR WE SITE SAID AVAILABLE was open at anytime. When I said that's what I came for it was like oh, here's this stuff for 20$ have a good day, I'll keep checking on you and reminding you I'm busy, but that I want you to feel important while I entertain the people that paid for a party. I 100% felt like as brown people we came in and didn't want us. We were looked up and down and made to feel that this "drop in event" was not important. I've worked in customer service, and child care and have zero sympathy for people who can't manage these aspects.

My son and I attended a birthday party at Create Studio this past weekend and had a great time! There is plenty of meter parking around the area, and since it was the weekend it was free! The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! We had a great experience and I would love to go back to Create!

I brought the kids here today for a Valentine Slime Party. It was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. Turns out, when you are attending an event,, it's best to ore-register online and show up on time. We didn't pre-register and we showed up late. Lol. Luckily, the owner was super sweet and understanding and a loud us to stay and let the kids create their slime. It was so cute and artsy inside. I was happy to see there Waac a play area with blocks and toys for the littles while there siblings weRe creating slime. Personally, I don't tthink it's a great idea to allow a fresh 2 year old to create slime so she played in the play area during the creation. Anyways, we created slime and it was fun. We even learned that there were adult classes, parents night out programs, schools our camps and classes specific for the littlest ones. I will definitely be checking some stuff out.

We LOVED our classes here! We are so happy to have found Sydney' and her Art + Play Studio. Working fulltime I could not find convenient art classes for young children. I am so thankful for Sydney and Lauren!
