I know there's a 1star review, but that was 2+ years ago, so hear me out...We arrived in Kentucky after a full day of travel from California, only to be inexplicably disgusted at the motel (I know you get what you paid for) we checked in to (Red Roof Inn, South - seriously, people living there, fixing cars in the parking lot, filthy rooms,etc.). After searching for a last minute change, the week of the Derby, we found CYM and were SO grateful. Yes, anything would be better than the RRI, but the staff at this Marriott turned our day around. Marcelo and Shannon were both SO kind and went out of their way to show us hospitality and make our day happy again. I hope Marriott treasures these employees; they deserve the best! The rooms are clean, grounds are pretty, beds/pillows what you expect, etc. the ONLY thing I would fault is not having lotion in the room(but that's mostly my fault for not packing any). One more shout out for Marcelo and Shannon!!! Definitely happy to call this home for the week.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel doesn't even deserve 1 star! Here's why; After 8 hours on the road, we wanted to relax, use the balcony and watch TV. We've always enjoyed staying at Courtyards but after this visit, we are less than impressed. Here's what was wrong and happened during our stay.*The shower and bathroom sink produced very little hot water on our arrival. *The balcony door was very difficult to open...yes, I did remove the safety bar.*The TV would not show any channels other than the "Marriott/Bonvoy" channel. I spoke with the front desk and his response was "I'm not to smart in tech things, I'll give you the technical support number for our TV/Internet provider". REALLY! It's now the customers job to deal with problems while staying at a Marriott property?I called the number he provided and after a least a 1/2 hour with the tech walking me through the TV remote menu operations, he agreed there was a problem. No matter what channel you selected, it always went back to the Marriott/Bonvoy channel.*On the morning or our departure, we woke with itching feet, ankles and red bites.....bed bugs? I'm appalled!*We wanted some coffee. The in-room coffee maker spewed hot water out of the fill lid, obviously unusable.*Wanting to shower, we left the water run for at least 15 minutes and ABSOLUTELY no hot water. So nice taking a cold shower, yes, sarcasm. When we were leaving the hotel, the man a the front desk asked how everything was and I explained all of the above, totally unacceptable!
