Countryside Inn Richmond Kentucky

This place is gross!! We checked in for a night and ended up leaving 3 hours later. There were bugs that were biting me, there walls had brown stuff on them. There were cockroaches. We tried to get a refund. They said no because we stayed for 3 hours. Which apparently they have cops who do sweeps normally. There were 9 cop cars and 3 K-9 units. I would NOT recommend this place!!

DO NOT TURN THE LIGHTS OFF. When I did, the roaches came out. At least, with the lights on, the bugs hide more. The bed Sheets had stains on them and did not smell washed. The comforter had cigarette burns and stains on it. There was not a remote control or any soap and shampoo.Only one towel- very stained. One light did not work. Also the price advertised is not the price they charged us. It is a cheap hotel for the area but not worth the discount. I did not feel safe. I think there was illegal activity around us. To top off the experience- we woke up with bed beg bites. Huge bites. I lifted up the sheets and I could see the bugs crawling. Awful! The hotel would not refund any of our money. DO NOT STAY HERE.
