We were passing through the area and decided to give this place a try. It seemed clean and everyone was friendly. Even though it was on a major highway, it apparently was mainly local customers. We ordered the beef liver and onions and a side of green beans. The beans were well seasoned. We both love liver and order it many places, this is one of the best. I will be back and recommend it when in the area.

Typically a bunch of teenagers working but they are hard workers I have to give it to them. The food is mediocre at its best but not bad for being a small diner. I enjoy the atmosphere & the food typically comes out right away. It's a nice place to stop if you're craving a home cooked meal rather than your usual fast food options. The prices are unbeatable.

This is your typical out of the way, no frills diner. Extensive menu, and food is cheap-a full meal for about $9. Hubs got the liver and onions, I got the country fried steak. Hubs said the liver was very tender and he liked it. My chicken fried steak was cooked well. Meals came with a potato and a vegetable side, plus salad and a roll. The salad was just bag salad, but not bad. Service was ok- nothing great or horrible. Place was clean. This was what we were looking for and it delivered.

My husband ordered a 10 ounce steak medium, came out well done. We told the server and she informed the cook, he actually came to the table and argued with my husband that it was correct when he sent it out. Really!!!!! He did cook another and it was better but still not correct, but he ate it anyway. Don't think we will be back.

It's best to go when everything is fresh. The pancakes taste good but the quality and presentation is lacking. The servers try to make it a pleasant experience though.
