On my first night in Kentucky, i ended up getting in around 8pm so food options were limited which i just decided to grab something in the hotel. Options were rather limited so i ended up just getting a burger which seemed to be what most folks were getting. I ended up getting the cowboy burger and fries, which just really ended up being something similar to a carls jr western bacon cheeseburger. Overall the burger was decent but had too much sauce so the onion rings got soggy quickly and lost its crunch. Fries were ok too but rather thin for my taste. Overall nothing to really rave about but if your staying in the hotel its a decent option as there really isnt a whole lot of choices nearby other than some other burger stops.

This bar is located in the aloft hotel. We were staying there so we wanted a quick dinner before heading in for the night. The server was great. She was very friendly and gave us recommendations. The food is bar food but good for quick service. The overall feel is trendy yet comfortable There are tvs to watch games and a pool table in the lobby area. Several small sofas are available for small groups to hang out.

We were killing time before our reservation for dinner and stopped in here for a couple of drinks. It was fairly steady as you could tell they were individuals there enjoying a beverage after work. We chose to sit at one of the tables, but did have to walk up to the bar to order our drinks. When we wanted to grab an appetizer, we had to go to the bar to order it. We did see that later on they actually had people coming out to the tables to take orders. Like many locations in the Louisville area they definitely have a huge selection of bourbons and are really more of a bar type location for cocktails versus beer, wine or anything else. I did appreciate that they had a local cider available in the can and all of their beers are in cans or bottle. They have very limited beers on tap.

We were looking for a moment to escape the chill and stepped in to what I can only describe as a confused mid life crisis. Was it warm? Yes. The selection of food was terrible, the sandwich my husband ordered, a club with guacamole was sad with a hint of lime. They did have an ipa, but sadly between the lack of food options, the dog, and several people playing pool, it was not for me. It may be for you! Maybe you like guacamole on sandwiches while listening to a variety of music played by unknown artists while the pool balls clank in the background. If so, don't take my advice.

Smooth old fashion smash burger, solid 4 plus /5, no condiments needed. The same apply for the Cesar salad ( 2 dollar upgrade from the fries), I am not even a Cesar salad guy. The food was salad and I got to knock another bread pudding off my list. If I try more items and they're as good as this. This place is solid 4.5 for food. Cheers

Does not seem to be the best when it comes to food service. Asked for some plates for the appetizer and the server brought over the plates tucked under her armpit. Total no go for me. Definitely not sanitary.

We stopped in for a quick bite before our tour of the Old Forester distillery, across the street. A simple cafe in the Aloft hotel. The bartender was the only staff in the area, but the place wasn't too crowded, and we received good service. I suggested that we share a club sandwich to get us through the afternoon. And this is the only reason for a less than great review. Not the sandwich we expected. Two slices of toast (forgivable), but the meat and cheese were grilled. The hot meat was loaded up with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. It would have been good, but the hot ingredients wilted the lettuce and made it a little too heavy. The flavor was OK, but it was not really a "club." However - the fries served with the meal were about perfect. Crispy on the outside, tender in the middle, and just enough salt to satisfy. Good service and a decent price.

Place was very nice. Server gives the history of the building, which is pretty cool. Food was good. I'd recommend popping in if you're in Kentucky!

The food was average. I got the 7 layer chicken salad and the chicken was pretty dry. It was $15 for romaine lettuce, corn, black beans, chicken, tomatoes, avocado, and cheese. Tasted fine but nothing extraordinary. Service was good. It was super dark and I could barely see, had to use my flashlight to see my food. So overall an ok experience.

This was our first stop in Louisville from Sacramento. Great burgers, good selection of whiskey. Our server/bartender, AJ, took great care of us and made us feel very welcomed on our first day! Thanks AJ! Hopefully we make it back to Louisville soon!
