Copper & Oak never disappoints and neither does Logan. If you want it from the bar, he will make it happen. The hospitality, atmosphere, and food is absolutely exceptional.

I have had dinner here once before and can't remember the experience (to the point I didn't even write about it). I had brunch here today and will never forget it.I had the WORST steak here I've ever had in my life. Brunch allows you to choose between a New York strip, twin filet medallions, or a rib eye. They were out of my original choice, the medallions, so I went with the strip. This was unlike any NY strip I've ever had in my life, and not in a good way. This was an oversized steak, a mutant, monster of a thing. I had to cut away a large layer of fat from the outside. Then once I started cutting into the steak itself, I couldn't even tell what temperature it was (the server didn't actually ask me when I ordered it). It was so full of sinew and cartilage that I had to SAW at this steak. And maybe a little bit of it was their puny steak knife, but a lot of it was the steak. I say this because I had to chew for eternity with each bite.If you've never seen the Saturday Night Live skit about the sister from Temecula, starring Pedro Pascal, look it up. It's hilarious and also embodies my experience with this steak. On top of that, it was flavorless.I was told something about the place raising its own meat . . . oof.I asked the server about the accompanying potato cakes and whether or not they were essentially has browns, as if they were, I wanted fries. She described them as this cheesy potato pie that was just delicious. I got the dish--it was pretty much as I expected--hash browns. The over easy eggs were meh. Not great and not seasoned in any way.The Bloody Mary was not the worst I've had. But not the best either.Service was fine.Copper and Oak also offers biscuits and gravy, croque madame, a brunch burger, eggs benedict, chicken and waffles, and other brunch fare. But I will never forget that horrible steak. I have always tried a lot of different steaks, even though I know I'm picky and even though I know a lot of places don't know how to do them well. But Copper and Oak has convinced me to never order a steak ever again unless I know a place can do it justice.I can still taste the disappointment.

Nestled in downtown Danville, Copper & Oak was the ideal spot for a Saturday afternoon lunch or date night. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern trendiness, giving it an upscale bar feel. The food was outstanding! The fried green tomatoes were a treat, and the crispy chicken sandwich was absolutely mouthwatering. My husband had the Sweet & Sour salad with chicken, which was so good. We finished with a bourbon chocolate mousse, which came as a recommendation from our server. Highly recommend stopping here.

The copper and oak burger was one of the most delicious burgers I've had in some time. Two medium locally farm and pasture raised beef patties cooked to perfection, no ketchup needed! A great place for bourbon and brew alike. Right in old Danville in a very nicely restored 1870's building and the ambiance is perfect saddled with great service!

My team and I were in Danville for a work thing so we were looking for a nice enough place for our group dinner. Our hotel recommended Copper & Oak to us and I'm SO glad we ended up going there. I'm still dreaming about the hot honey chips tbh. My colleagues braved the bourbon flights and they loved them. Every single dish we had was phenomenal!Thank you so much to the C&O team for taking such great care of us!

Expensive but delicious! The service is kind of slow and it is a loud restaurant, but the burgers make up for it. Every time I've gotten a burger here it has been incredible. It rivals Drakes. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the menu has lots of variability. The Canadian bacon is expensive, but so is everything nowadays. I really recommend coming here!

Ordered the charcuterie board through a 3rd party for a quick evening bite to go with a nice bottle of wine. Very delicious and everything was fresh.

First thing they asked us was- do you have a reservation? We were not aware we needed one but we ended up at the bar. They were pretty busy- Valentine's Day. Food was good. We ordered the hot honey chicken and aged beef burger with fries. Both were cooked nicely but I could've used more hot honey- I think they only added a drop in the middle of the chicken. The burger was ordered medium, no onion but we ended up with onions. Drinks were tasty- mixed berry old fashion- a little sweet, and a regular old fashion. I think we would go back when we are back in town, but the service wasn't great. $80 including tip.
