Fast service hot ham and cheese was good...so was the fried chicken...good sized portions

If you're ever in Carrollton, Ky.... this diner style gem has awesome Fried Chicken, and they make it fresh, so it's worth the wait! It's crunchy and not greasy!!! Yummy sides too! The place is spic and span clean as well! The young ladies working on 8/4 were very friendly, and were making sure the restaurant was clean. Kudos to the cook as well, everything was delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we're camping at General Butler State Park!

This place has odd hours. We tried to eat here 3 times and they were finally open today. Staff was nice the good was coooed to order. We get chicken strips and liver. The strips are run of the mill frozen and so are the frys. The liver was also frozen and they over cooked it. It was good but a little to salty for my taste. Mine came with mashed potatoes they were instant potatoes they were good for instant and coleslaw but I chose to get macaroni and cheese mac & cheese only and cheese was very bland and had no flavor. I got a lemonaide that was very good and my wife got a Heath bar flurry that was also good.

Best milkshakes in the entire world! They have so many flavors to choose from you'll never get bored. There food just taste like good homemade cooking. I absolutely love there chicken strip basket. Oh & the employees are the best.

Friendly staff. The chicken was flavorful and crispy. Glad it is now smoke free (some earlier post indicated smoking was allowed). I would visit again..

Great fried chicken. Good "breakfast all day", chicken tenders basket, french fries, fried pickle chips and shakes and ok burgers..but the fried chicken is why we stop.We have our son stop and carry out on his way home from Louisville to Northern KY.Heads up if dining in: They allow smoking and there is no designated smoking area.

Portions decent amount and cost very reasonable. I had tenderloin and hubby had fried chicken dinner. Only complaint I had was instant potatoes. We did spring for fried mushrooms. Yummy Lots of choices will definitely go again They have carry out but inside dining open. First time we tried to go was start of Covid so they were totally shut down. Everything was disposable meal came to table in a bag. Masks required like elsewhere.

Soup, sandwich and ice cream. Really good food. Best pricing. Local, not a chain. Service that's worth tipping.
