We visited here for a fun cooking class and were seated at a cooking station near the front of the venue. Our chef was Chef Chris Stoddard and he was fun, engaging, and informative. We chose a class that has been quite popular and had to make a reservation several months in advance, and it was so worth it! We chose a class featuring Maryland crab cakes with a remoulade sauce, as well as steak, Mac n cheese, chocolate cake with raspberries, as well as a bottle of red wine. Happy event with about 10 cooking stations with 2 patrons at each, as well as Chef and several support assistants. We spent 2 to 3 hours here cooking, drinking, eating, and interacting and had a blast. Plan to repeat either the same class (because it was that good!) or maybe try a different class -- or maybe even do both!

Oh what fun! For work, my team took a cooking class here tonight and it was a blast. We made crab cakes, chicken with creamy sauce with sun dried tomatoes, green beans, and for dessert a raspberry and white chocolate chip bread pudding. So delicious!! And since it's two per station, I even had leftovers. I left learning new things and full!!

We had a blast at Cooking at Millie's. We took the class from District 6 Chef, Hanh Duong. We were welcomed in and taken to our little kitchen space and offered wine. Each kitchen has all the things needed to cook your meal. It was easy to follow along and if you had questions they were answered with no problem. Everyone cooks at the same time, so each dish is plated and enjoyed. We moved easily through each dish. We had so much fun. Highly recommend for a date night or night with friends.

Oh my goodness! Cooking under the direction of Chef Kevin Nelson was educational & entertaining. This was so much fun. I would highly recommend Cooking @ Millie's.For our evening, we made Maryland style Crab Cakes. So easy & delicious. Flat Iron Steak with House Rub & Twisted Mac & Cheese. The steak we cooked & baked was tender & delicious. The Mac & cheese was creamy. We also baked 2 individual Chocolate Cakes. The dinner also comes with a bottled of wine. They have 4 types to select from & if you finish your 1st one, there's an option to purchase more. They also have water & sodas. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. There is a Tip Box, so take someIf you can do this, DO IT! You should enjoy it.

My husband and I have been here 2 times and booked a 3rd. These classes are so fun and easy to do. All the food has been great and love that it comes with a bottle of wine. We LOVED the drag class with Chef May O'Nays. Can't wait for many more experiences

My husband and I took a class this past Friday and really enjoyed it. The class was sold out so I was a little worried that we would not get the proper instruction during class, but that was not the case at all. Chef Jon demonstrated each step perfectly with clear instructions while the other kitchen staff walked around assisting and answering any questions. You are provided all of the ingredients to the exact measurement so it makes it almost impossible to mess up. We decided on a menu that was mainly fish and everything was fresh. Portions are on the smaller side and the wine selection is not great, but the class is a lot of fun. A great idea for a date night or a girls night out. I highly recommend.

Have been here for 2 dinners. Delightfully fun and well run. It's basically a cooking class without the boring stuff and add wine. Various chefs will guide you through cooking dishes. Both I went to were 3 courses and all of it was delicious. Bring a date. Have a blast.

Love love love Cooking at Millie's! I've been here several times for three different classes: macarons, cheese making, and a couple's date night. Each one was so much fun, so useful, and so so tasty. They are located in downtown Louisville. There are a bunch of cooking stations set up facing the front chef station. The chef has several cameras on him/her so you get various angles as you're following along. each station is fully equipped with all the cooking tools and utensils you'll need for the class. My first class was a macaron baking class. My friend and I were very stressed throughout because we wanted them to be perfect, but it was worth it because our macarons came out great! The chef was very helpful coming around and troubleshooting for everyone. Same with my second class, the cheese making class. Is there anything better than cheese? We learned how to make ricotta and mozzarella, and we got to try little samples of cake and salad that we can make with these cheeses. The cheeses came out amazing and you could really taste the freshness difference. The most recent class I took was a date night class. We made a three course meal that turned out really good, and we're still using the recipes from the class. This was in July, still in the thick of COVID-19. Cooking at Millie's took very diligent precautions. They take your temperature coming in, they are more strict with hand washing, and they have distancing and mask guidelines. Everyone in the class was compliant throughout, and we felt very safe. This is a really fun way to spend an evening, and I've always come out with a full belly and having learned something new. Would highly recommend!

What an absolutely amazing and fun thing to do here in town. We had a blast, and the food turned out perfect. We started off by prepping the dessert because it takes the longest to make/bake. We made a chocolate brownie in an individual souffle cup. Threw it in the oven and forgot about it for a while.Appetizer was wagyu pigs in a blanket with Bleu cheese. Outstanding. Never would have thought to add the Bleu cheese. That's a lifehack.Dinner was a filet. We learned how to sear the steak and keep the smoke down while evenly cooking the steak (add butter and throw it in the oven). We also made a mushroom sauce to top the steak (reduced heavy cream). Then the dessert was ready to go. We zested an orange, added the juice from the orange and some powdered sugar. Poured this on top of the brownie and we had ourselves a fire dessert. The price is a little bit over $100, but if you book early you get 10% off. Which we did.I think this is an incredibly good value. You learn a lot, you have fun cooking, and you eat the good food you make. And it comes with a bottle of win. Come on! Awesome deal.
