Common Grounds Coffee House

This review is for the Old Todd's Rd location!I love this coffee shop! I live about 20 minutes away near many other coffee shops but I'll drive out of my way to come here! They have by far the best breakfast burrito of any other place I've tried in Lex! It's so delicious! I've only gotten iced coffee so far so I can't comment on the hot coffee but I always get either an iced coconut mocha or an iced blackberry mocha and both are so good! The staff are always really friendly and welcoming! The only thing I'd change is their ambiance inside, I think the tables and chairs could use some upgrading for comfortability but I don't go to coffee shops for the chairs I go for the coffee so that's not nearly reason enough for me to stop making the drive here! 10/10!

The coffee is great but the service is the best! We went twice and were so happy with both visits. And they offer a significant military discount. All this and a chocolate covered espresso bean on top!

I have driven by Common Grounds every day, twice a day on the way to school drop off but decided to finally stop and give it a try. It is drive through only as it's a small kiosk set up in the Hartland Kroger shopping center. I ordered a large brewed coffee with cream and sugar (nothing fancy!). The coffee was hot, fresh and the two employees working were very friendly and personable. The price was comparable with Starbucks, but I am happy to support a local Lexington business. Will not be my last time stopping!

Stopped in for a coffee and also to buy some fresh roasted coffee for home. The atmosphere and the staff were great and the coffee was great. Fresh roasted really makes a difference.

Quick and delicious if you're in the area! Drive thru only so it's better on the go or if you don't feel like making coffee at home. Love that they rotate flavor brews. Every employee that has served me over the past year has been so friendly and helpful!

Best coffee place I've had the pleasure of visiting in a long while .. Friendly staff and fast service & did I mention great coffee .... I was pleasantly surprised. I had been told by a nurse co-worker that I would not be disappointed if I stopped by;). So, when I did- I highly recommend the turtle mocha latte, it was wonderful and hit the spot after a long 13 plus hour shift plus a trip to grocery before going home . Oh & their muffins are awesome I'm usually a Starbucks person but I think I'll be switching to Common Grounds

First time here (visitor). The server was so pleasant! She guided me thru ordering the cup of joe!

Another lunch me and my Fiancé went, we ordered breakfast burritos which were very big and very delicious. I also ordered a latte which was great, the coffee didn't taste burnt or old it was pretty fresh. My fiancé ordered a chi latte and he loved it. Prices were okay but not the best, also the workers are always so sweet. They have a tiny dining room but they do have a room with a couch and it feels very homey. Mixed matched furniture gives a refreshing feeling from the standard coffee place where everything is the same. They also have art work hanging on the walls for sale that's very beautiful. Overall I really like this place and personally would go here over starbucks any day.

I ordered a cold brew with vanilla cold foam. It was one of the better cold brews I have had. Service was quick.

Nice little drive thru . Friendly and great tasting drinks ! On a trip from Ohio so I like to support smaller local businesses and this was a great one!!
