Clarion Pointe

Very convenient and affordable location. Room was clean with basic amenities. We were very pleased with the number of power outlets, charging stations, and USB ports conveniently located throughout the room. Breakfast was wonderful, with both hot and cold foods. My mom is 88 and very particular; she loved the omelet. Had we gone out for a similar breakfast, it easily would've been $10.00 pA good experience, would come again and would recommend.

Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel... 1am woken up by what sounded like a party in the lobby. I asked them to quiet it down and they did which was good. Not the most clean and up to date stuff. Never had any room service/housekeeping. Never got extra towels, trashes done, nothing. Large group of ppl hanging outside almost every night i stayed. Then i got charged twice for the same stay... even though i had it booked and paid for 4+ months in advance... it wasn't fun trying to get it refunded over the phone..since I live in California and was home when i noticed. Front desk was not 100% trained, her words, and couldn't help me so i had to keep calling back until a manager was in. Manager answered but never said he was the manager...then acted like he was handing the phone to the manager and the same guy got back on the phone.. i mentioned it and he said "sorry i shouldve said something " not very professional. First and last time i will stay here. Ill drive from Lexington daily next time I visit family/friends

Staff were friendly, and hotel was clean. That being said, there were some aesthetic issues. The shower door would not stay closed, and kept rolling open. There were obvious spots where there were drapes and towel bars where the hotel didn't clean up and paint over. Sprinkler heads were missing their caps, and so there were three grungy holes in the ceiling. Worst thing was that we had to stop using our hot tub because it was leaking through the drywall in the suite below. Some simple things need attention, otherwise a nice hotel.

Awesome rooms. Very clean. A tad small but the rooms are great and clean. Great front desk. Kim checked me in, was so friendly. Offered to take my luggage to my room. I'm an elderly lady. I will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great too. Louise R.
