City Walk of Owensboro

Your must find spot in Owensboro, we have missed out on so many visits and never again will miss this gem. EXTRA good food, absolutely love when we talk about how yummy for days. The special was Beef Wellington (fancy and expensive) on the board for today. We opted in our sandwiches that were reasonably priced and came with a side, some changes are unchangeable if your a changer. The side of mac was creamy, the side of sweet potato smash was sweet with nuts. The club had the best thick sliced ham and turkey cuts. Inside it can be a challenge if steps are an issue in this older building, step up to restroom as well. The interior is charming, felt like an old welcoming pub. Service was quick, friendly and attractive for a perfect trio. VERY VERY GOOD FOOD!!!

A Great Little Downtown Spot for Steak and Seafood.The CityWalk is a nice little downtown spot near the river to have a good meal. I was walking around the area and got hungry and since I was close to CityWalk, I decided to give it a try. CityWalk markets itself as 'Steak Seafood and Bourbon' so why not !! The inside was cozy and woody with a rustic decor which made the place very comfortable and enjoyable. I started with a Kentucky Craft beer and made the decision to try their Sirloin and Shrimp which was made from certified Hereford Corn-fed Cattle and a skewer of grilled shrimp with a sweet potatoes mash and green beans. The start salad was made from fresh-cut veggies with a side of honey-mustard dressing. The Steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and the shrimp were a good medium size, plump and juicy. Overall a simple but great meal in a wonderful space at a reasonable cost. I recommend adding CityWalk to your dining adventures whenever you are in the Owensboro area.

The atmosphere is so cozy & decorated with historic charm. The murals on the wall of the bridge adds a nice touch as well as pictures & articles of the past featuring Owensboro landmarks. My server was quick & attentive. I order Chef Anthony's meatloaf with baked Mac N Cheese & seasoned asparagus. Delicious! All three parts of my meal were perfectly seasoned.

It's a very small place with limited seating. I went on a Friday night around 8pm and the wait was 35 minutes. Luckily, there were 2 seats open at the bar. There's only 4 total seats at the bar at all. The staff was very friendly, good was pretty good and the environment is cool. I ordered the burger with Mac and cheese. Overall, it was a solid choice. Mac and cheese was good. No complaints! My friend ordered meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. The meat loaf had a very sweet sauce on it which was a little too much for me. The green beans were a little too strong flavored of whatever it was and the mashed potatoes were good. Burger 8.5/10Mac and cheese 8/10Meatloaf 7.5/10Green beans 7/10Mashed potatoes 8/10Cool place with good service and good food. I'd definitely return to try other items. I recommend going if you're in town. They do take reservations but you have to call.

We made reservations for 8:0, but they were able to seat us earlier. The weather outside was chilly and we were glad to get out of it. Our waiter was straight to the point and took our drink order with our food order. He didn't really recommend anything and brought us our check before offering a desert. Maybe there wasn't any, I don't know... We enjoyed our food, but I didn't like the bbq on my shrimp on my salmon. I didn't think the flavors complimented each other at all. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and decorated in black.

Went in for lunch today, very cool spot. The club sandwich had the thickest slices of turkey and ham I have ever seen. The baked Mac and cheese with hot chicken was another excellent meal! Service was fast and friendly, we'll definitely be back when we are in the area next.

We arrived at 7pm on Friday night hoping to get a table without a reservation. The hostess was hesitant at first but worked us in. We were seated in a booth next to the window looking outside. It was a perfect location, probably the best seat in the house actually! The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The cocktail menu had several options, I ordered the whiskey sour. We came for the fried catfish and we were not disappointed. Started with a Caesar salad that was only $4.00 add on. Well worth it. The fish came with 2 sides, I decided on side winder fries and green beans. The fish was not greasy, seasoned perfectly and freshly cooked. The green beans were souther style with bacon and well seasoned. The fries are fun as they're a little different from the average fry. The only downside is when we asked for dessert our server said they only had leftover cobbler from lunch. Didn't sound appetizing with the word leftover. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan on going back to try other items.

Food was amazing, service was super attentive. They bent over backwards to squeeze us in, reservations are a must have. Will be back soon!
