China Hut

If I am desperately needing some Chinese food, and I don't feel like going anywhere else, this place would be OK, but it would definitely not be my first choice. The food is very average, nothing too bad or good but very much in the middle. Definitely a good place. If you're needing a quick fix for Chinese food, but there are definitely better places to go.

I got General Tso chicken as a takeout for supper. The portion was really large and made three meals out of it. I had been sick and had just been craving this for a meal. I was very pleased with my meal and the large portion. I cannot say much else since this was a to go meal. I am pleased with the food and would order from them again.

I stopped in tonight as I've been craving Chinese food. It was around 5pm. When I walked in it was quiet no one was sitting in the dining room. Both the man and the lady sitting at the counter were more then friendly. I ordered the beef and broccoli combo. The portion was more then generous and I didn't even wait 10 minutes for it! I have to say it was pretty tasty not greasy at all. I'll definitely be back again. PS the ladies room was clean so that's a double score !

Pandemic carry out review only: My boss was craving hot and sour soup. So I began search for OPEN Chinese take out nearby. Many were closed or opened later in the afternoon. I found China Hut. I had to download the beyond menu app to order and pay. Was very easy to do. I ordered KungPao chicken with a side of hot and sour soup. Gave me a time for pick up. I drove to the location. There was a note on the door to STOP and call them. Called the number, but before they could answer. An employee cracked the door and asked what I had ordered. I told him and he brought it out. Gloved hands under the bag so I could grab the handle and go. Got it back to the shop in about 15 minutes. Was hot and fresh. I have my new chines lunch take out place!!! Was good!

Really cheap Chinese food.The fried rice that comes with the combo appears to be white rice with soy sauce on it, fried. No vegetables at all.The Vegetable Lo Mein was really light on fresh vegetables.The egg foo young sauce was flavorless.Cheap blah food.

First time here. Drive by it all of the time. Today I just happened to be craving Chinese so I stopped. I actually looked on yelp for reviews. As normal some love it and some hate it. Well, I'm a part of the later. The fried rice was a color I've never seen. Had absolutely no flavor. I ordered the general tso's chicken. Again, a very odd color. First two bites were nothing but gristle or tendon. Only flavor I got was garlic. There were pea size chunks of garlic all over the chicken. I don't know if that was to disguise tainted meat but it was horrible. Luckily I ordered the crab Rangoon. It was okay. Not enough to bring me back. Plus after spending $15 bucks and leaving hungry. This place was a ponderosa steak house when I was a kid. Wish it still was. Definitely staying away from this place.

I have been eating at China Hut since the late 90's. As long as you understand that this is just a bare essentials, low frills place that doesn't care about the extra little touches or a fancy atmosphere, it's really not a bad place for quick and relatively inexpensive Chinese food. The quality of the food sometimes varies a little (depending on the cook I assume), but I've never had bad food from here. Sometimes it's just better than others. the people that aren't going to like this place are probably pretty picky. If you're just hungry for some quick and basic Chinese, it's just fine.

Ordered delivery from their website for years www.chinahutky.com. They have recently gone downhill. The last two orders were incorrect. We returned the first wrong order and the replacement was hastily made and not made to their usual standards (no sauce just meat and veggies). This time the manager told me that the websites we've used for years is NOT their website and they are not responsible so he was not going to do anything to make it right. Overcharged for the wrong item.

Toppings are extremely skimpy. Lo Mein flavor is good, but not as good as China King.
