For authentic Chinese food this is the best place around. Fast service. You can watch it being made. It's housed in an old warehouse.

I love this place and it's remarkable Chinese food! I've been going here for years and I still can't get enough! We usually always get noodles with vegetables and a meat such as chicken or beef. A part I really like is that the staff are all Chinese and trained to make genuine Chinese food, which gives it a sense of authenticity. The service is good for pickup and takeout. Although, it isn't too aesthetically pleasing, you can still definitely enjoy and have fun in the atmosphere!

I usually get sweet & sour chicken but I switched it up this time & it was delicious. Everything I get is always good! 10/10. My favorite Chinese place.

No longer a sit down operation. Workers behind glass. Take out only. Food is edible, but just blah. Wouldn't recommend and won't be stopping by again.

This is my first review of 2017.... and apparently I'm the first person to review this place! Alright, then. I just wish I had a better review than I'm about to post.....My husband and I decided to continue my parents' latest tradition of Chinese food during Christmas. We hadn't tried China House before, so we drove out to Cynthiana to order some yummy Chinese to take home. Ordering was quick, and our food was ready within ten minutes. So glad we didn't have to wait very long for our food, especially with a screaming baby in the backseat! (The car needs to be in motion or he yells his lungs out.)We arrived home, eager to eat some yummy food, and..... it was OK. I had ordered Chicken Lo Mein (which came with a side of Pork Fried Rice and an egg roll). The rice was good. The egg roll was good. The Lo Mein just... had no flavor at all. It tasted like noodles with some chicken and vegetables -- totally lacking that 'flavor' that Chinese food usually has. I was so disappointed. It wasn't terrible, so I still ate it, but just wasn't what I had expected. My husband ordered General Tso's chicken and he had the same opinion about his food too -- it was fine, but not great. The chicken was actually a bit dry and barely had sauce on it. Meh.Not the best Christmas meal we've ever had.I don't know if this is how their food usually is or if they were slacking a bit that evening, but we both agreed that China House wouldn't be our first choice of Chinese food in the future. (Actually, nor would the other restaurant in town. We'll be going to Georgetown from now on.)

The best General Tso's, egg rolls, and crab rangoon. My go to place for great authentic Chinese food. Great food and Great Service.

We love how convenient this Chinese restaurant is for takeout! We've never waited more than 15 minutes and the food is always fresh and delicious! My favorite is the lo mein and my husband loves general Tso's chicken.

the service was ok but the orange chicken is hard, and if you ask for something else instead of the orange chicken they tell you no. why would I order the same thing they messed up on and almost broke my tooth. do not recommend the place it's self is ok as well.

The china house has been amazing with covid precautions and keeping everyone safe! They completely changed their restaurant around to accommodate covid.
