Charly’s

We are visiting the area and found this great restaurant. The food was cooked to order and very good. I had the taco salad. The meet was just the right spice level, lettuce was fresh and the portions were good sized. Steamed veggies were great. Price for food was good. Attentive and friendly staff. I will be back if we are back in the area.

Great local eatery with a warm, welcoming staff & delicious food! We tried their burger & onion rings, as well as the Club sandwich and tater tots. Food: My fiance enjoyed his burger and loved the onion rings. I got the club sandwich which came on warm Texas toast with heaping piles of ham & turkey, and fresh crispy bacon. I liked that they put some sort of creamy Italian dressing vs mayo on it - was a unique twist! The tater tots were PHENOMENAL - they must have been deep fried because they were super crispy and hot. The burger & onion rings meal was very affordable (~$8-9). The club sandwich & tots was a bit pricey for what it was (closer to $12) but was a packed sandwich so I can't complain. Service: Service was stellar - our waitress checked on us several times and we had everything we needed the entire meal! Including a never ending cup of coffee. Location: The place is smaller with less than 10 tables but still spacious enough where you don't feel cramped. During COVID wait-staff wore masks (& wore them properly over the nose) so I felt very comfortable eating here. It's a bit hard to find --- GPS will try to take you down to the funeral home. Keep an eye out for the railroad tracks and look for a corner restaurant near there - that's where you'll find Charly's!

When me and my friend went there we ordered the fish dinners, it was supposed to be planks! We waited quite awhile for our food and when we finally got it was very disappointed!! They had bought us out a few little nuggets that was supposed to be fish planks ! Never been so upset with a restaurant in all my life and the price was terrible for the little food we received!! Will never go back again to that restaurant!!!

Came out on their second day open and the food and service is wonderful. We used the outdoor eating area and the service was spot on.
