Charlestown Pizza Company

We remembered to call ahead to get on the waitlist otherwise you could have a long wait for a table. I believe we were seated within 15 minutes of arrival. Service was very good and friendly. We ordered a half salad, bread bites to go with the small mushroom, green pepper and onion pizza. It was more than enough. With the exception of the pizza crust being a little flimsy it was a successful meal.

Absolutely loved this place! Lots of cool stuff on the walls to look at while you wait. Service was quick and not one thing was wrong with my order. When the food came out it was hot and looked fresh. The crust was crispy and the cheese was perfectly melted. Will definitely return. The hours are a little weird so I would double check those before you plan to head up there.

It's not bad but it is very flavorful. I honestly couldn't stomach the acidity of the tomato paste and almost everything had a tomato on it, which yeah I love tomatos but heck. Everything is kinda pizza or pizza bread or a meatball sandwich. They have the usual soda drink selection. I'm probably just not italian enough.

Very good, when you can catch them open. The beer cheese is outstanding and their salads are excellent!

So they have this thing called a pot pie pizza, and I was so excited when I saw that because there is a place in Chicago that does these (Pizza and Oven Grinder FTW!) and I may have teared up a little bit. Is it possible I can get my beloved pizza pot pie outside of Chicago?The answer is, kinda sorta not really.First off, they serve it in those weird little boat shaped dished you normally get served pasta in, and the presentation is sloppy at best. However, they did allow up to ten (!) toppings to be added. So I chose pepperoni, black olives, mushroom, jalapeno and tomato. Thats not what I got though.I got pepperoni, black olive, green olive, and jalapeno. Which wasnt the worst thing, but honestly, come on now. The taste was fine, the crust was a bit heavy and just slightly overcooked. I was given some kind of melted butter but I didnt use it as it seemed like overkill.You'd think I should give this place a lower rating considering the disappointment that was my meal, but they redeemed themselves nicely by offering pineapple cider and having some of the greatest potato skins I have ever had. Also the service was great, very attentive but not obnoxious. I dont live near here but I would definitely come back if I had the chance. Just not for the pot pie, sad face here.

A great hole in the wall. The food was great and very delicious. Service was good and made us feel at home. Will definitely be back soon.

I tried the chicken tenders today. Not only were they amazing but the portions are large enough to be an entree. I also got the large chef salad that could be a meal all by itself. The ratio between the veggies and meat are the best. This salad is not just a bowl of lettuce with a little veggie you have to hunt for. The prices are much lower than what one would expect for the food they get. The service was like having a meal with family, treated very well and made to feel very welcomed. The ambience was relaxing. Totally recommend to see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Food was great. The pizza was flavorful and the crust was great. Servers were very attentive and checked on things frequently. I am not local to the area, but would come back when I come back to Charlestown.

This place was great. It's not a typical small town pizza joint. The dough and sauce are made in house. The cheeseburger pizza was delicious. They are open to experimenting with other toppings. Definitely looking forward to going back.

I had heard the food was pretty good, but it was so so in my opinion. I may have rated it better if we didn't have to wait forever for our food. Atmosphere isn't much to look at either. Unfortunately there aren't many options in that part of town, or I would suggest going somewhere else.
