this is a nice little spot to hunt for treasure. Filled to the brim with all sorts of things to catch your eye, make you think, make you want a history lesson.... one could really spend hours in here. Their offerings of little collections of found battlefield artifacts are really quite something... One not only gets the chance to take a very cool souvenir home, but also learn to how the collection was found, who found it, etc. Pricing seemed reasonable (but I'm no expert). Shop owner was very friendly and helpful, and also opened up their newly acquired storefront for us when we were searching for more Civil War 'stuff'. Apparently, they are moving to the new space soon.Stonewall Jackson, the shop cat, is a love bug and will help you with your selections if you need and want the help.

Super great people. Like meeting old friends. They've got about anything you could want antique wise.

I was there shopping on Saturday May 27th. Again, all kinds of antiques! I think if you don't visit Chaplin river antiques, you have missed out on the best antique store you in the state of Kentucky! Every time I visit, I buy some great items. There are things there that you may never see anywhere else in your life! Your will become hooked on this place and the great owners!!! Trust me, there are antiques in there that you may never see if you go to any other antique stores. The history in Perryville Kentucky and the Battlefield puts you back in the civil war. Great museum at the battlefield! You won't be disappointed! Don't forget to check out an original civil war coffin at Chaplin river antiques!!!!!
