We have used this Pet Resort for several years and it used to be much better. Now, not so much. We recently left our doge for 4 days and requested a bath and nails before we picked up. No groomers on Sunday which was fine as we would pick up around 12 PM on Sunday. Dogs were not groomed. My older dog had a spat of the runs and the waste was left to dry on him and sent home with us to clean him at home. At the price they charge I would expect much better care. If you love your pets I would recommend someplace else as they have lost the caring people they used to have and and attention to detail is also gone. Like I mentioned. Clean and trim nails on Saturday, but not done..

We were driving across country and wanted to visit the Ark Encounter for the day. After reading through their website, I called the day before to inquire about the dog evaluation for daycare. I explained our situation and they were so kind and accommodating. They informed that they would do the evaluation for my dog and if she didn't do well, they would place her in a kennel by herself and switch it to boarding for the day. If she did well, she would play with the other dogs in regular daycare. The gentleman was most kind and provided me with the information for the cameras so I could watch her while we were away for the day. I felt very relieved about her staying there and was reassured multiple times throughout the day as I watched her from the cameras. I was grateful that we were able to have a safe place for our dog while we became tourists for the day. My only complaint was that when I picked my dog up, she was wet and smelled like urine. I don't know if it was from laying on the concrete that they hosed down throughout the day, but I was not expecting that or I would've arranged for a bath before pick up. Other than that, I would definitely come back if we are ever in the Lexington area again. Thank you!!

Unfortunately we will no longer use their services. While attending doggy daycare one of my pups lost a chunk of his ear. Yes - you read that right. The facility called and said he had a "spot" on his ear and they wanted to let me know but it wasn't a big deal... Their words. When we picked out dog up we realized he is literally missing some of his ear. Staff couldn't tell me what happened, just that there had not been a fight. I requested manager call me. Still have never heard from manager.

Totally chaotic experience. I shopped for an open play day care for my dog while in town visiting. I originally was told that all three days I could have my dog in day care, gave hours, quoted me price, etc for all three days. So I selected this place. After paying the $35 fee for assessment to continue, and getting no feedback for such fee other than he was ok to come back, I learned I couldn't leave him that day because hours listed and told were not accurate. Later after paying fee, I learned the hours weren't as stated for Sunday amd there was NO dog play on Sunday. Again, after being told otherwise amd paying for fee. So now I lost two of the days I needed amd planned on. Then the only remaining day amd after being told day before AND at drop off that he would get dog playtime for daycare, I was called after I was hour away at tourist location, that not only would they only keep my dog in a kennel all day bc there was no dog day care that day after all, but now I'd have to pay increased boarding for day. Also, the hours for pickup that day weren't as first told either. Despite my frustration and being able to check with his "new staff", the manager refused to honor the prior price quoted and absolutely had no remorse for being told repetitively that there would be day care dog play that day. He offered no solutions, no play time, amd increased cost without even an apology or effort to make things right. I have never heard of a business not honoring price and changing conditions after I left with a clear plan of what would happen that day from staff-none of which happened. He had the nerve to indicate that "well, you left him at a boarding place". No, my Covid dog had never been boarded in a kennel nor did I want that. I was told over amd over again otherwise. Not until Beas at my out of town location with $125 tickets paid did they call me to change terms of my agreement. Very unprofessional, discourteous, ruined our day worrying about our dog. The only reason I don't give one star is bc most of the staff was nice, albeit very wrong info, and because he seemed to have fun for the one half day play time he got during his eval. The eval you get no feedback for and I got no value in because none of their days ended up working for me despite what was told me earlier. Manager needs to learn customer service. Amd if your office is chaotic and no one knows anything, then at least apologize and have the business sense to stand by quote and promises. A place not to be trusted or counted on.

I rarely leave reviews for businesses, however, I had such a positive experience with CKPR that I wanted to take the time to commend them. I needed a daycare facility for my 5yr old Aussie while I was in town for the week for work. CKPR was the second location I contacted after the first place I called was very rude. When I inquired, CKPR were happy to accommodate my short-term needs. The staff is extremely nice and you can tell they care very much for the dogs. My Aussie left every day happy and completely pooped. I also very much appreciated their flexibility and patience when I cut it close with evening pick-up time.If I lived locally I would be utilizing the daycare, boarding a grooming all the time! Thank you CKPR!

Looking for a place to lodge your fur-baby while away? This place is perfection. When we had procrastinated too long on finding our girl a place to stay for the weekend, I took to Google to see what I could find.We had taken her to PetSuites once prior but they were booked and I had that "oh crap" moment before finding this gem. Now I will never take her anywhere else. We take her to the Central Kentucky Vet Center, just a short drive from the house and this is a short drive from there. Owned by a couple of the vets who run CKVC, I already was starting to feel better about putting her there. After the kind lady on the phone answered all of my questions we decided to book. We got lucky, snagging the last room for the weekend. We opted for the deluxe room that's a little bit bigger than the standard but it has a tv, elevated bed, 1 daily playtime (you can opt for 20 min of one on one time or 2 hours of group play with dogs of their size), daily vet check up, 24 hour staff care, routine sanitary checks and housekeeping & the real time web cam access! They assess her daily and give you a report card at the end of their stay as well. They recommend bringing your food for them to not change their diet too drastically as well. The facility was super clean and the staff was super helpful. They have you fill out quite a bit of paperwork for your first visit so I recommend getting there 15 min prior to when you plan to drop them off. They have a great play area in the back that's fenced in complete with a doggie (kiddie) pool. While we were gone we were able to check on her via webcam as much as we felt like and it was a great feeling just knowing that she was staying with the same folks we took her vet wise. And only 5 min from the house. Lexington friends, this is SO worth the drive to Georgetown.

These wonderful folks saved our vacation! Pet friendly CohntryInn&Suites does not allow unaccompanied pets in your room....pets severely limit tourist activities. Found these folks and loved they were flexible on whether our 11 lb herding dominant bordoodle was kept in kennel or group play ground - he doesn't always remember he's not big dog :-)They have live camera in group play area so you can check in on your dog too which gave us peace of mind.Day two our dog was greeted by name and he immediately pranced back and through door without looking back!

horrible customer service, added charges to the price and had someone who didn't even make the appointment sign the paperwork when they were picked up, never checked or confirmed anything with me. Tried calling for 5!!!!! Days (10 + times a day) and they would not answer the phone. Finally got them to answer the phone and a very rude boy answered the phone and said that we should have called sooner, it's not able to be fixed now. This place used to be a great place but after talking to people, a lot of people stopped using them because of the customer service and added charges. not to mention I spoke with my old neighbor and she is an older lady on fixed income and they did her dirty. There is no consistency from staff member to staff member on the information you get. And in the end myself and a few others have all got the same response "there is nothing I can do about it" From the staff. very unprofessional and not good business practices anymore, it's a shame.

My dog, Frankie loves the staff and all his friends at CKPR. I have nothing but good things to say about Ty and the whole team. Frankie drags me to the door he so excited. I would not trust any one but his team of people.

Great staff takes excellent care of our babies. Axland Bitsie get so excited when we take them inside. It makes it easier to board them knowing that they are safe, secure, and happy. We like being able to check in on them with the remote camera access. Also, all-day play is affordable and gives them more "fun" time.
