Walked in the door on a great day and was immediately greeted by this bright young man Dawson. I was looking for something for my son so I was just browsing around but had many questions. I'm surprised how quick he was to respond to all of the questions while adding info to help me not have to ask follow up questions I'll definitely be coming back soon to get a surprise gift for my son. Small shop that has potential, especially compared to the glitzy mess that is the competition in Lexington. I went to look at a couple of used high-end 1200cc adventure bikes. However, I was told there were no test rides. It was a polite conversation on both sides, and I'd have liked to possibly give them some business. But who buys a $15k used bike without a test ride? Not me, that's who. I guess I'll just keep driving up to Mount Sterling to do my shopping, since I can ride anything in the shop. It's worth the short drive.Update 06/17/22Downgraded to one star. A good friend is shopping for a bike, and this shop had a *used* high-end one he was interested in. We got there, and he asked if he could get a ride on it. The answer (same guy that I'd spoken to last year) was "no, we don't have the insurance for that, sorry". My friend said "well, then, why does it say right on your web site 'schedule a test ride!' (or whatever)". The answer "Um, it must be auto-populated or something, sorry. Anyway, that bike is sold. Have a look at that mumble mumble over there." My friend says "I'm actually looking for an adventure bike, which is specifically why I came to look at this one." Sales guy "oh we have a couple of other adventure bikes here", then immediately breaks eye contact, plops down, and starts looking at his computer, apparently done with us.Really not sure how they stay in business. At this point I'd say avoid. Hard pass.

Saw a 1 star review and had to write one. I've been here multiple times. Price - Their service prices are much better than other shops. Everywhere else I've quoted for service work is about 60% more or twice the cost. Helpfulness - every time I've been here I've had at least a 20 minute good conversation with someone. The last time I was here I was trying to undo my own work when I did not flush my brake lines right. They were very willing to help. Punctuality - my bike was done within a week. No issues since then. Accessory selection - availability is mostly Motocross items, but I bought a road helmate here 3 years ago and it still works fine. Bike selection - there are a variety of used bikes in the show room from cruisers to sport and adventure bikes. Definitely worth checking out.

The dishonest business practices were so bad that I thought I was getting scammed and had to call the Lexington police!! People please pay attention to the bad reviews. I didn't believe them and had to learn the hard way! There are other places that will treat you with dignity and respect and not lie to you. They took my deposit and ran my credit for a loan, stringing me along over days, only to tell me that they didn't have it. Drew and Daniel are the two that I dealt with. What they did was horrible! Now my son's birthday is ruined thanks to them. I even let Brad the owner know what happened and all he wanted to do was talk about all his big sale numbers and how much money they make. Never offered anything to help make it right. Being upset by this deception is an understatement!! Moms beware if you're trying to do something nice for your kid for a special occasion. DO NOT TRUST this place.

I've been going here for about two years now, and every time i took my bike here, they were always professional, helpful, wether it was for routine maintenance or big jobs like cleaning the carbs, etc.. i always got my bike back quick, and done right! I definitely recommend !

I chose to rate with 5 stars for mostly one reason--the staff, especially Squatch and Tony. I had issues initially with getting my scooter but without the help of Squatch, I would not be in as good of shape as I am now. Thank you for all your extra effort and work!

Have nothing but good things to say, great prices, great people, and super helpful when it comes to getting new gear and helping new riders. Had Dawson help me out a ton and even reached out to help save me the drive and ask questions. Would recommend to anybody, both experienced and new.

Best place in town for all your powersports needs! They have the best and most knowledgeable staff to help get you on a new ride or parts and service to take care of your current ride!I always shop here and will continue to do so for all my motorsports needs!

My wife and I were less than a thousand miles into a 8,000 Mi loop around the USA when her motorcycle developed a slow leak in the rear tire. The BMW & HD dealers in the Lexington to Louisville were unable to accommodate our need for a repair/replace. The service Manager (Craig) and parts Dept (Jason) at Central KY Motorsports were both accommodating and effective. We elected to replace the tire considering the journey we were undertaking and are very satisfied with the results. We think this motorcycle shop rocks! Well done Craig and Jason! So for those of you on motorcycles and need assistance, my recommendation is to look here first. They have a large stock of items including clothing and riding gear. I even found small rubber tips for my ram mount. And my wife walked away with some additional riding gear.

Upon moving to Lexington I traveled all over the central Kentucky Area checking out the different shops. After checking them all out Central Kentucky Motorsports not only earned my business, But I enjoyed the experience so much I made it a goal to join the team up there. Since then I can honestly say the team at Central Kentucky Motorsports are beyond dedicated to helping you with all of your on and off road needs.
