This isn't your typical brunch spot. It's a small menu with some pretty unique flavor pairings, but it was absolutely delicious! I had never seen crab on a breakfast menu before, or orange creamsicle French toast. I went basic though and got the avocado toast, which was excellent.Seating is pretty limited- we had to wait 10 minutes before a table was open, but that is understandable given the size of the restaurant and the fact that it was a Saturday afternoon. I would recommend stopping here if you're looking for a quaint spot in downtown Covington!

Interesting and cute place. The food just honestly seemed to be trying too hard. It had 1-2 too many ingredients almost. Weird criticism I guess, but that was my takeaway. Service started out great, but tapered off as people came in, understandably, but it took two different servers and 20+ minutes to finally get our check. It was kind of expensive for what it was. The French toast looking dessert does look amazing though.

What a cute spot! Met a friend for brunch and the drinks, food, and service were wonderful. Highly recommended the travelers cold brew with the coconut rum. We split the firebird sandwich and the hangover bowl. The sandwich was the star. Great blend of sweet and spicy and a perfect crunch from the homemade pickles. The fries are hand cut and top notch. I plan to come back and try more items!

Cedars does not disappoint. This has been one of my fav brunch spots for a while, and I swear the quality keeps getting better. The food is excellent, fresh and local. I had the Cedar Burger, made with Glier Goetta and Beef. I added the candied bacon, and the combination was a win. My husband had the Crabby Ben and loved it. Service was super friendly and fast. We will continue to frequent Cedars for brunch.

Amazing brunch right in the middle of a cute neighborhood. Wait staff is funny and kind, quick service, 5 stars. The filet was very good and the hangover was the highlight. Espresso martini was so smooth and delicious. Plenty of covered patio seating.

I am going to start with the othe "stuff" before my food. This, like many other businesses/eateries in Main Strauss, are converted old buildings. This place is pretty nice (there are a few worn out laminate floor planks...no biggie. There are many hard surfaces, so it is a little on the noisier side. The service is friendly and attentive, so that's good.I was torn between 3 menu items. But since I was a bit dressier for Mother's Day, I opted for a safer bet...so I don't wear it.I ordered the NOLA, a Cajun based omelet and this was a good choice. It's a large omelet on a large piece of sourdough (homemade) bread. The sauce is all New Orleans. I didn't really detect any heat, but I think my palette may be tempered as I like spicy stuff.Overall, it was quite good. I really enjoyed everything.

Tried to come here on a super hot day in the summer and waiting was torture so we went somewhere else, but today we decided to go back early in the morning and got in right away. The ambiance was cool and the open windows is really awesome on a nice day. We sat at the bar although there were many tables open, and the bartender was so friendly and helpful. I had the crabby Ben and my husband had the biscuit bowl. Both were so good as were the mimosas! The orange juice tastes really fresh. We will definitely come back!! I can't wait to try the espresso martini next time.

I can't say enough amazing things about this place! It has been on my list for quite a while, and I finally was able to check it out. I went around 11 AM on a Sunday morning, and there was quite the crowd, but not too much of a wait. I went straight to the bar, since it was just me, and the bar tenders were amazing and super knowledgeable! Since it was my first time, they allowed me some time to look over the menu and gave me some recommendations on what they thought would be best. I settled with the chicken and waffle because what is brunch with that a little sweet and savory?! I had the Cedar Mimosa but swapped with pineapple juice. It did take quite a while for me to get my order, but that was OK. I was just enjoying the nice weather people watching, and the ambience. When the food came out, I was very impressed by how tasty everything was. I quite enjoyed the spicy maple syrup blend. I got through half and was so full, I had to take the rest home. (It heated up nicely for dinner!!) Overall this experience was absolutely amazing. Such a great fun place to check out on the weekend or anytime really . I will definitely back!

After seen lot of good reviews, Cedar is a place to visit for fresh ingredients and good services. Street parking and lot behind the restaurant makes it easy. Two sides menu but those all you need they offer variety of drinks and food. Nice place to hang out. Price is reasonable.
