Cassell Creek Golf Course

This is by no means a state of the art gold course. But that doesn't mean for a little country place that it's not bad.For the basic golfer (which I am. Maybe 4 times a year) this is a basic course. It's $20 period and that includes the cart for 9 holes. Beers are cheap and they have some sandwich options as well. They offer you coolers to use on the course. The women's tees were a little difficult to find on a few holes, and they could use a little upkeep, but they may not get a bunch of female golfers either. We didn't really look at the men's tees to compare. There aren't a ton of trees here, or even very man sand traps. They use the lie of the hilly land and the small creeks that run through the course to make things difficult. The driving range is decent, just behind the clubhouse. The holes run in a decent back and forth spiral that was pretty easy to read off the map and the layout. There were only 2 holes that had greens next to each other that were a little tricky to determine. But all in all its a nice basic golf course if you're headed out with friends for a few holes and a few drinks.

This is a perfect course for your golf outing because you always have a wide range of skill level during an outing. This is the reason I was there. The course is in OK shape. The tee boxes need work and the fairways are long. The greens are in good shape. They roll slow but roll nice. I like the fact that it is out in the middle of nowhere. There are no houses on it so if feels more secluded which is nice. I did not get to go into the pro shop as my outing had everything we needed set up outside so I cannot speak to the pro shop. The layout of the course is pretty nice. Some challenging holes but nothing overwhelming. There is not a lot water on the course and I do not recall seeing any sand so it is a very forgiving course. As I said, this is a great course for an outing and also for high handicap golfers to work on their game without being overwhelmed. I would definitely go back for another outing.

Me and my friends was just looking for a good time and so we thought about going to the range to hit some golf balls and so we looked online and it said they was open and the gate was open as well so after 10 minutes of being there hitting golf balls the owner drives up to us and starts cussing at us saying there close when nothing said they was and he said out of no where "we need to quit thinking with our penis" and as old has the owner was he could have handled the situation way better.

The absolute worst customer service and the owner is very rude. I would not go back again. Course is also in terrible shop

This golf course is nothing more than a big field. However their gates are open and when I showed up to play they tell me they are closed because they are concerned about their greens being wet???????? There are nicer golf courses in the area that are open today. I would recommend playing somewhere else.
