Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant

Nice building, nice paintings on window. But the food is shit. It's not even authentic. From outside it looks as so, but very disappointing! Save ur money go to Taco Bell.

Had some street tacos there today, they was pretty yummy I've also had the steak quesadilla a few times that's good as well. The price isn't bad I can eat there alone and leave a tip and still come out cheaper than a meal at Wendy's or Dairy Queen. Typical American mexican restaurant, good but nothing special.

Had a late lunch here on a Wednesday with my family. Service was friendly and the food, which was very good, came out very quickly. I ordered the Fajita Nachos Special, which was both unique and very tasty. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Tex-Mex.

Ok, first of all...full disclosure; I'm from Arizona where they have some AMAZING Mexican food. So with that being said, Casa Grande gets a solid 4 stars. I had the Supremo Burrito (Ground beef) and my wife had Chili Relleno and we both thought it was very tasty. Not bad at all for Mexican Food in Central Kentucky.The "Jumbo Margarita?" I should have just gotten a beer. The food was excellent. I appreciated that I could get my favorite, tacos el pastor. The only better than the tacos was the service. Jorge and Jacob made me feel welcome, as they always do.

Hang around and strap in! It's going to be a bit of a ride!I have a close friend that knows the owner here "George" and he takes care of them quite well! They have NEVER had bad service, and always recommend this place, so I figured they couldn't be wrong! Now....I am a VERY easy going person, and it takes quite a lot of bullshit to get me to complain - Well "Casa Grande" Congratulations: You have made me feel like I'm going full Karen.My family and I have been here 5 times now, Each time was like pulling the handle on a Vegas slot machine. The FIRST time? Excellent. Great service, Great food!The second time, I brought my Parents, and the service was so-so, and kind of slow, eventually the food showed up - but was nowhere near fresh - or warm for that matter...even the queso was cold! -- I chalked it up and thought to myself "nobody is perfect" and "every business has a bad night now and then" The third visit, We brought my father-in-law to dinner... we had decent service and pretty good food, so I figured they had made some changes and sort of redeemed themselves!4th time, back with my parents - We sat down, and waited. and waited...and waited.. until I chased down a member of the staff so we could get some service. Although our server spoke little to no english, We were brought chips and salsa, and ordered our drinks and some queso for the chips. The drinks came out - no queso, and nobody came back to check on us for about 30 minutes, when they finally came back, we ordered our food, and asked for some drink refills.. we waited about another 20 minutes for our food to be served, and STILL had not had our drinks refilled, so I walked to the server station and refilled them myself. Needless to say, the Food was "Par for the course" and I didn't leave the usual 25% tip I normally like to leave. Tonight however, took the cake!! We ONCE AGAIN braved the gamble of Casa Grande because It was my Daughters 11th birthday, and she asked if we could go out for some Mexican food.My Wife, Daughter, Mother and Father and I walked in and were seated immediately. DIRECTLY across from the kitchen doors!!! (I was happy about this, because EVERY EMPLOYEE had to pass us on the way to the kitchen - so I figured we had a chance of not being forgotten)I was WRONG. Our drink orders were taken quite quickly, and brought out with a bowl of queso we ordered for the chips....Then we "pulled the handle on the slot machine" and ordered our food. I am not exaggerating the slightest bit when I say we basically fell into the Twilight Zone at this point... we ceased to exist. We watched other tables be seated, eat their food and LEAVE before we could even get anyone's attention! It was 53 minutes from ordering to the time the food came. My wife had already become so agitated she went to the car to lay down - she didn't even want to eat anymore. When the food FINALLY did arrive, My Mothers Taquitos were basically burned to a crisp, my Wife and Daughters Steak Quesadillas showed up overcooked and ice cold (How this can happen is beyond me) - My 3 tacos al pastor were likewise hot, but burned to a crisp, and my Fathers Chile Relleno looked more like 2 stuffed Jalepenos. they were tiny! (He usually orders 2 of them because they are HUGE and he takes one home with him, but these were insanely small)So, after someone FINALLY asked if everything was "ok" and we let them know it in fact ---wasn't----, nothing was changed - no offer to replace the "ice quesadillas" or "charcoal tacos and taquitos" - at all... so we just dealt with it and paid.So, for my Daughters Birthday, I got to go home with a dissapointed daughter, a pissed off wife, and 2 parents that were less than thrilled! Thanks for the Experience Casa Grande!! Looks like I will be an El Charro Customer for life now. at least they can manage to serve warm food!!

First of all, I want to say that the quality of the food was decent, the staff were friendly, and they REALLY tried. For those reasons, three stars. This was my first time here and I just wasn't impressed. The parking lot is awkward and the parking spaces tight. So much so that almost every car was parked crooked, leaving some spaces unusable. This can be frustrating when it is full, which was the case. Walking in to my already seated party, the building is waaaay smaller than I would have imagined. The floors were incredibly sticky, and trying to maneuver through the crowded dining area to get to the restroom was a bit of a challenge. The restroom cleanliness was not great. I believe, in an attempt to expand their seating area, they placed two tables in a small partially enclosed space beside the kitchen doors. This is where we were seated. It should go without saying, no one wants to be seated next to kitchen or bathroom doors. As you can imagine, in a small crowded space, the noise level was insane. I'm pretty tolerant but it was just too much for me. So loud in fact, that our waiter brought the wrong items for my toddler because he had a hard time hearing us order. Example: instead of cheese fries with mandarin oranges on the side, she got mozzarella sticks and orange juice. She's kind of particular about textures, and refused the mozz sticks, so that was a waste. I also ordered a special dip as an appetizer that never came. Also noted, the very busy and flustered waiter seemed annoyed when I asked for a moment to look over the menu. I understand what it's like to serve in a busy restaurant and can appreciate the effort, but this experience was overall subpar. I can imagine it may be better at a less busy time, but I won't be back anytime soon to find out.

Good food but same goes for any Mexican restaurant... in order for a taco salad to be a taco salad, taco seasoning SHOULD be in the cooked hamburger!!

Buena comida, excelente servicio , el ambiente es muy agradable, el molcajete es un plato muy sabroso

Being in town for just a couple days, I decided to give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Very tasty. Very reasonable prices too. I would return if ever I'm coming through this town in the future.
