Cancun Mexican Bar & Grill

When we first walked in we weren't very impressed with the service. We asked 2 people including our waitress to remove a chair from our table because it had sticky stuff all over it. They both said Ok and walked away. My husband ended up removing it. Food was good, service was ok but nothing exceptional.

I'm giving this place 5 stars for the service experience, in particular. Our server was just super personable and friendly. When we ordered, our food literally came out in less than 5 minutes. We were pleasantly shocked (not that I expected it to be slow). I really enjoyed the fajita burrito. Like most Mexican restaurants, the menu was pretty expansive. The decor was colorful and festive. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsa- I had a much more ketchup/pasta sauce type of tomato flavor than some salsas. Good find in this small town when we were nearby visiting Mammoth Cave.

I've dined in and gotten taken takeout from Cancun. It's been a while since I've dined in, so my review will be based solely on the takeout experience. This has become my go-to for takeout on those 12-16 hour work days where I'm just too tired to cook or clean. Food is ready 10 minutes after ordering. They really are quick, and there is hardly ever a line. Every meal comes with a bag of chips and salsa, which is really awesome. The salsa is good, if you ask for it- the pico is even better. The food is always hot as if it just came off the grill- not like it had been sitting around for a while. The portion sizes are generous- it really is as if you were dining in. They're not skimping on the food. Lately I've been getting the chicken fajitas. These comes with 2 containers of food- one hot with chicken, onions, peppers, and tomatoes; one cool with rice, re-fried beans, guac, pico, and sour cream. They also come with a side of tortillas. If you can't finish the entire meal, the food re-heats surprisingly well the next morning. This is such a good option for takeout. Quick and delicious.

This place is a win-win! With, and I'm sorry to say this, disappointment after disappointment with going out to dinner in both Glasgow and Scottsville, we won!!! Great service, clean, bright, friendly atmosphere, Cancun is legit. Clean bathrooms too is a plus!I had an ice cold draft Pacifico and Marranitas. Amaze! Perfectly crispy pork chunks mixed with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Flavor explosion. So good.My BF had fajitas Del Mar and cleaned his plate after not being hungry.My only not love were the chips. Pretty blah. Maybe for the best since I usually fill up on those before my entree comes!

My Amigos Jaún and joŚe hooked me up with a great deal again! they serviced me great and showed me there BIG! Brown Tortillas, and we made burritos with extra cheese sauce;) the cooked for each other while i watched and ate my big tortilla. overall great experience will be back!

Great service, we were greeted immediately and taken to our table. Ordered drinks and had fresh salsa and chips. Ordered our food which was served in a timely manner...hot and delicious! Highly recommend this place. Staff is very welcoming and pleasant. No pics, but the Fajitas Quesadilla was great!

If you value your vehicle beware came out to the parking lot after dinner and found two employees laying across my truck taking a smoke break told them they needed to get off my truck and one of them got in my face and asked me if I was serious lost a customer here wouldn't recommend this place

This one came highly recomended and we weren't disappointed. My wife thought the salsa was a bit bland....but I liked it. The entrees were very good. We'll be back!
