Campus Pub

A few friends and I came to campus pub during Lexington burger (Whoa, Blackberry! Bam-ba-lam!) week for their specialty burger for the weeklong event and it was DELICIOUS! It was quite busy for a Wednesday evening but it made the ambiance all the more lively! With the larger crowds it took a bit longer to get our food, but our server was incredibly gracious about it so we didn't mind! We didn't catch his name but he kept thanking us for being kind and patient, which was wholesome. It was my first time here and the burger was delightful (I wonder if they'll keep it on the menu for the rest of the summer!)

I'm being nice giving this 3 stars. Came here for burger week with a friend. This is the only restaurant I'm going to for it so really wanted This burger. Didn't know it'd take such a long time... there was no wait for a table, granted they were busy. An hour after ordering, they told us they were out of the cheese spread that came on the burger. I understand in these food weeks restaurants run out of things, but you should tell me that when I order. They came many times before that seeing if we needed more drinks, but nothing about the food, which is what I cared about. When the burgers finally came after 1 1/2 hours it was good. I did love the berries with the burger, as I've never had that before and love berries! Honestly if it weren't for the berries I would be giving 2 stars ha.

Hubs gave Campus Pub a 4 stars. It's burger week and he ordered the smash burger. Two 3 ounced patties with American cheese, onions and their burger sauce. Juicy and delicious! Served with house chips, he upgraded to fries.Hubs commented several times that the burger was good. But it lacked lettuce and tomato. I ordered "Amber's Green's" a salad with Roma-crunch and Spring Mix. I have an allergy to vitamin K making spring mix a food I can not eat. My server took my order exactly as I wanted. Later the Manager came to the table and said Roman crunch was not available. I cancelled my food order and groused to my husband. I try to eat low carb/high protein diet. The rest of the menu was fried and breaded. So I ordered a shot. I don't normally day drink and rarely liquor but I was glad to have something. The advertisement showed a brown liquid topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.I received a glass with white liquid- no dough ball whiskey, just Rumchata. See picture of what was advertised vs what I received. I likely wont return. Hubs said he would for the burger.The manager comped my drink so I kep the review at 4 stars.

I felt kind of insulted by the bouncer outside in front of the bar. He seemed kind of pissed off and not very excited to be there. Other than that this bar is okay I guess. People here are really rude sometimes though. I don't feel very accepted here. I think if you're into country music then this is the bar for you.

Cool hangout, some decent food, pool table and current music. The crowd is on the younger Side thus it being famous pub but there are older people that come here also. Ask to see what the special is. They have great loaded tots!

I noticed that I never actually posted my review for Campus Pub! Well, I saved my initial review in my drafts and without further delay, I would like to present Campus Pub with my FIRST 5-Star rating!It all started January 5th, 2019 when I went with my two friends to watch the classic Colts-Texans playoff game! This game was an incredible showing for the Colts in the first half, outscoring the Texans 21-0. The Colts wouldn't score another point in this Wildcard victory, but they managed to hold the Texans to one touchdown for the rest of the game. Luck looked better than ever, connecting with Eric Ebron for an early TD. Then with some big runs from Marlon Mack, and a beautiful INT by Kenny Moore, the Colts were able to secure the W and go on to face the Chiefs. Looking back, I didn't know that I was watching Andrew Luck's final victory but I'm glad I did it at Campus Pub. The bar wasn't very crowded, which is surprising due to the Colts game being on. Either way, the interactions I had with my fellow patrons were great! I even got to meet the owner. The owner was a nice man, and even offered us a free round if we could correctly name the singer of the song that he played on the jukebox. My friend easily guessed the singer. By the way, the song was "I'm Your Man" by Wham! Of course, my friend said it was George Michael but the owner still took the answer! What a great day! I don't remember whether I had any of the food. If I had, I'm sure it would have been Bussin! I had a great time shooting pool and watching history (Colts Game). Be sure to go here for all future Colts playoff games! Luck isn't playing for them anymore but Jonathan Taylor and Matt Ryan should be a good combo for them this season. I know I'll be there watching! Maybe I'll even play a George Michael song while I'm at it. I haven't been back since January 5th, 2019 but this is an error that I am willing to and ready to correct, much like the Colts corrected their error of having Carson Wentz lead the offense! Let's go Colts and let's go Campus Pub!

Campus Pub is a great place for Kentucky game day! The atmosphere is live and exciting, and every time I've been they do buy one get one shots at half time. The food is pretty good as well, I'd recommend their burgers.

Stormie was amazing. Don't know how she handled the crowd by herself, but she did. Always a smile. Smash burger excellent. Seasoned well juicy. Chips ok, would try fries next time. Close to stadium.

If you like standing on shit and piss go to this place \, worst bartenders and worst service i have ever been givien by a lexington establishment, complete shit hole , they even served me raw chicken

Was there for a gathering. Ordered the nachos. It was delivered in a old tomato sauce tin that was dumped onto the plate in front of me. I assume it was for an attempted dramatic effect. What oozed out was a horrible pile of goo. The mound of chips that landed on the plate were coated in a massive amount of watered down cheese sauce and some sort of in-house " bbq" science experiment sauce that glistened with " this sh*t ain't right" I had never imagined that nachos could ever be served so disgustingly messed up. Two chips in, I was ready to heave. It was disturbingly bitter. So, the serever suggested something else. I chose chicken strips hoping that would comeout " normal". To my shock, they came out dark brown burned. The manager walked by and I said " I think these are burned" He replied with a dismissive tone " thats just how the breading is"Later on in the evening, I saw other patrons in my group eating chicken items that looked cooked golden as they should be. One of the organizers of our event stated that the menu had suddenly changed since she was there a week ago. I began to wonder if either my dark skin or my dislike for their "chef's" nachos offended the cook and he or she took some sort of sociopathic revenge on me.I suspect that an eye to cost cutting was the driver for the new menu. It was clearly developed by someone unqualified in the culinary arts and approved by a management ignorant of how to run a food establishment.IF YOU GO TO THIS PLACE, GO EAT AT THE CHINESE PLACE A FEW DOORS DOWN, THEN ENJOY YOUR BOOZE AT THIS PUB. But, if you must have food here, order the fries. They haven't effed that up yet
