The atmosphere was night. However we were sat at the booth in front of the bar closest to the door and it was a cold night. Very crowded and the service was slow. The next reservation after ours was seated over an hour late and it wasn't due to our party eating slow. The salmon wasn't good at all. I wouldn't return,

Dine in | Dinner | $30-50Owensboro has a new 5 star restaurant! We made our reservation online and requested a booth. There were definitely people standing around wishing for that booth but the sweet hostess saved it for us. We were there Saturday night at 6, very busy. Caleb was a fantastic waiter. Very professional and apologetic for our small wait to order cocktails. No problem, the drinks came quickly and in the perfect antique glassware. Looking around I saw several different types of beautiful glasses depending on the cocktail. We both ordered a small salad before dinner. It was super fresh with homemade dressing. I ordered the steak Oscar, absolutely delicious with the sweet potato mash. The decor of this place is so warm and welcoming. They got the lighting just right? Don't miss out on this fine dining experience.

The atmosphere was great. Had a good speakeasy vibe. Our service was excellent. We had the Honey Cajun Salmon with broccoli and the Creekstone Flat Iron steak with mac and cheese and sweet potato mash. The salmon was good, but the shrimp it was served with really stole the show for me. Broccoli had great seasoning. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked and had the perfect blend of seasoning on it. Mac and cheese and sweet potato mash were okay.

We frequent Owensboro often and this is one of our most favorite place since discovering Callas Tavern. The whole vibe as you walk in is so warm and inviting. We could not get a table so we sat at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and upbeat and super busy. When I asked the background of the restaurant and who owned it she stated her and her husband. I was impressed that she was in the grind of working just the same as her own staff. Now the food!!!! It was all delicious. We had crab cakes for appetizer, and shared an entree of the Snake River wagu NY strip, asparagus, mashed sweet potatoes and cocktails (I had two mules and hubby had 3 bourbons). Our total was $130. I was impressed with the friendly service, delicious food and the atmosphere is beautiful and warm.

Servers were very friendly. Specialty drink "Smoked old fashion" large square ice cube and 1 oz booze $15. Mushroom appetizer was good. Ribeye cooked well but more fat and grizzle then I would think for a $45 steak. "Baked Mac & cheese" was a scoop of Mac in a bowl not what I would call "Baked". Cajun coleslaw very bland. Dinner for 2 was $180 including tip.
