"Give this small veterinarian clinic a try. Alexa and her staff are welcoming and really treat you and your pet with the utmost respect. Very friendly and caring is the vibe I got from all the staff who helped me during my visit. I'm using this office exclusively now for my pet veterinarian care."
"After moving to the area a little over two years ago we needed to find a local vet to keep up with yearly maintenance of our dog. Started here because they were basically across the street from our house. We've had the opportunity to work both Dr. Parr and Dr. Berman. We have had nothing but great experiences here with both. Having moved from a much larger city where vets seem to be more about making money and increasing their revenue, it is nice to not be upsold on every little service that isn't truly needed. They provide very realistic and logical advice on the care of our dogs. In the time that we have been here we have added another dog to the family. They have been treating him since he was a pup. He is not a very friendly dog and is scared of everyone, but they do an excellent job with him. He has made many visits in his young age and they do a wonderful job. We will continue going here for as long as we are in the area with all our pets, and highly recommend them."
"The price is right. The level of care is phenomenal. The staff is fantastic. My dog comes here for shots, exams, things that would normally have dogs cowering at the thought of going through that door. Not here. She runs through the door at full speed, smile on her face, full body tail wag engaged. Even though there may be some needle sticks coming the attention she gets from the staff makes her happy to be there. On the human side: throughout our visits here the Vet and Staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Keeping your pet healthy and safe can be an intimidating maze of choices. The best choice we made was taking our dog here."
"Can not say enough good things about this vet office everyone is always helpful and friendly and they take good care of our animals!Thank you"
"I've been bringing my dog here for over 2 years and have consistently been happy with the care. Dr. Gravatte in particular is top-notch. You can tell he really cares about your pet. Most importantly, I've never felt pressured or guilted into high-cost procedures.I recommend this place to all my pet-owning friends."
"My sweet girl Lilly always enjoys going to the animal clinic. All the workers treat Lilly like she is there own. Very easy access to get in and out of the clinic and is in a great location."
"Very nice place. My only complaint would be customer service issue's at the front. Phone calls take priority over customers that have been waiting in line."
"We recently switched vets to this clinic. We were very impressed with the care our cat received. I felt they were thorough, but did not feel like they tried to "add on" extra services like they did at our previous vet. I was nervous about changing vets, but now I'm happy we decided to try someone new."
"Knowledgeable staff and helpful staff. It's in a older building. They are so good with pets."
"My kitty foster mom recommend us this clinic that she usually take her own pets. They took good care of my kitty and they gave him what he needed. The treatment work and now we have a healthy kitty. Everyone was friendly, is very clean and they took my temperature before coming inside and everyone was using masks including myself. I'll be coming back to this cleaning. Thank you for your services."
"We have used this clinic for our dogs for about 20 years. Dr Burns and his staff are wonderful. You can see that everyone there truly love what they do and really care about the animals they treat. A++++"
"Excellent vet service! A fear free experience for all pets. When you walk in the clinic it does not feel like a vets office. With couches and rugs in every exam room and softer lighting. Very clean office. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. Dr.Brumley is my go to vet for any of my girls needs!"

I have been going to this clinic for some years and I love it. What has really won me over was when My Barrington had a leg laceration and it was an emergency to get him in, they didn't hesitate to see him. Dr. Noble got him, together fast, and I even had to bring him back a day or two later because he found away to get to the injury again... I recommend this clinic and the Dr's... whether it is for the maintenance of your pet or emergency care. April B

I had to put my pet down and they were all so supportive . I had my sweet puppy cremated and they treated her with dignity. I picked up the remains today and received her ashes in a beautiful box along with an imprint of her paws. I highly recommend Eastland animal Clinic, they understand that pets are family.

Dr. Lacki and the entire staff are friendly, professional, informative and patient. At no time did I feel rushed and I very much appreciated the time Dr. Lacki spent explaining to this lay person the nature of the problem.

This clinic has taken great care of our dogs. The first time we used them was for an emergency. We didn't know what was wrong but our mini golden doodle could barely walk and just kept throwing up. They did one test at a time to rule things out. They discussed options along the way and what each would cost. Ultimately, they helped our little girl in the best way possible. I have felt at other times that maybe some of the add ons suggested in yearly checkups were not necessary and very costly. Until I agreed to have an (expensive!) complete blood panel ran during a yearly exam. I left the office wondering why I spent that much more $ when it probably was a waste. Then I got the call that our girl had Lyme disease. We would never have known and she would have been in pain and suffering unnecessarily if I hadn't agreed to that bloodwork. I was so glad I had spent the extra $$. Now, I'll just trust them to know what needs to be done for the best care for our babies.

I really love Clays Mill Animal Clinic, my dog Knox sees Dr. Blair and I've always felt that Knox enjoys seeing him during his regular check ups once a year. I can also send Dr Blair a text outside of business hours if there is anything I have concerns about (i.e. when Knox got in to Valentine candy...) He has an appointment coming up and now the protocol is they take them in and you wait outside in your car. I truly appreciate their team and the care they give my sweet Knox!

"I took our dog to this veterinarian clinic because she had not been seen in a while and they were offering a new patient special. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable and she received good care. The reason for my low rating is because after my initial visit I received reminder emails and phone calls for follow up appointments that I had not scheduled (at least twice) that THEY had scheduled for my pet, numerous emails, and when I wanted to buy her flea and heart worm meds from an online company they refused to validate the prescription without my coming in and getting a written script.I believe good vet care is important, but I did not appreciate being harassed."
"When my husband came home late at night and brought in a cute, fluffy, black kitten off the street, I knew that kitten was going to be a part of our lives. He brought the kitten in with the intention of feeding it and letting it back outside -- which we did -- but the next day, we inquired about the kitten, found out it was just a friendly stray, and well, volunteered to take it in. And with that, Luna Mae became the third cat in our little animal family. She purred as we gave her a shower to wash off the dirt and fleas, and she warmed up to us quickly. We adored her. That said, we needed to get her to the vet for some shots and a check-up. We asked some friends if they had any recommendations and they pointed us here to Cleveland Animal Clinic. We met with Dr. Cleveland (and the friendly crew) and they gave Luna Mae the kitten shots she needed over four visits. Then came the time when we needed to get her fixed. This is done during select days of the week -- it is suggested the pet is dropped off when the clinic opens and picked up in the middle of the afternoon. I dropped Luna Mae off one rainy Friday. When I went to pick her up, they had an interesting story to tell me. Apparently, when the vet opened Luna with the intention of removing her uterus, there was none! They re-checked under all the fluffy fur and found the male parts..... and did what needed to be done.So.... we had a boy! We changed Luna's name to Cash. And had a pretty good laugh at that story. I was a bit disturbed later on that they didn't double-check the reproductive parts before prepping for surgery, but I guess they had just taken our word for it and overlooked the bits under the fur. (I had previously thought it was a boy, myself, but my husband said it was a girl.... go figure). I was not charged for the extra surgery, thankfully. Also, everything I've had to do was affordable and reasonably priced. I'm very happy about that. Despite the mix-up with the surgery, we're still using this clinic (and have been back already to get some medicine for a sick Luna Cash) but I prefer Dr. Barron. And we have a funny story to share!"
"Best veterinarian we've ever had. Take the time to explain things and to give options. He doesn't try to gouge you while at the same time make sure that your pet gets excellent care. Cannot say enough good things about Dr Dobbs"
"I've been taking my pets here for 23 years. Dr. Bischoff is terrific, he explains everything he does in a way you can understand. Lays out all possible options for your pets. He's not trying to sell you something you don't need. All the vet techs there are wonderful. Everyone here truly cares about you and your pets. I can't recommend this place enough. An enthusiastic five stars."
"Our first time visit to Green Tree was outstanding. I came to this vet clinic through the reviews I read before moving to Lexington. Making an appointment for our Siberian Husky was easy and the front desk person was very kind. We received a reminder text of Griff's upcoming appointment which was cool. Upon arrival we noticed how clean and welcoming the clinic was....not your typical vet clinic. The lobby is warm, decorated like a home and the front desk person, Michelle, greeted us with a smile. As a new patient, we received $10 off our visit through a yelp offer! So cool they do that. Once in the appointment room (clean and outfitted appropriately with medical equipment), Dr. Yocum came in with a kind smile and jumped right into the physical. His medical assistant and office manger, Diana, was so sweet to my Griff and gave him kisses while he was being examined. They are a one stop shop with food, snacks and toothpaste (which we needed) onsite. We have established care for our fur baby at Green Tree Animal Hospital without hesitation!"
"My first visit to LAC and I must say the staff and Dr. Sheets are top notch and the place is clean clean clean! They were able to fit me in with my busy schedule while addressing my pets needs. I would highly recommend LAC and Dr. Sheets if you're looking for a veterinarian and so would my dog!"
"Best vet and honest vet in town. They love and take care of our dog like it is their own. They never overcharge and sometimes actually undercharge. Thank you for taking great care of our Zoey."
"I absolutely love my vet clinic. I've been coming here since I moved to Lexington and I am always impressed with their level of compassion and professionalism. I had a special needs dog that I knew would take a special doctor since we were frequent flyers. My in-laws raves about this clinic, and since they were in a similar situation, I followed their recommendation. When my little guy reached the end of his life, they did everything they could and showed me so much kindness. After he passed, I received the sweetest letter from Dr. Sallee. He said he wished he could've done more, but that my pup was so lucky to have had me as his mom. That was almost 3 years ago and that has stuck with me ever since. I usually see Dr. Sallee or Dr. McCord, but I never worry if I have to see another doctor if I need to be squeezed in. You can tell each staff member and vet enjoys their job and loves the creatures they care for. 11/10 would recommend."
"I've been going to Richmond Rd Vet clinic for the last 45 years! Literally every dog I've ever had has been seen at Richmond Rd Vet. Dr. Snyder has retired and Dr. Smith is excellent. He is very compassionate and always willing to take my after hour calls if needed when a concern arises. I highly recommend this office ."
"Dr. Everett was very compassionate, and led us through the process of euthanizing our sweet fur blessing! We are so glad we were able to allow her to go peacefully, at home, in her favorite place, surrounded by familiar smells and sounds, and in the arms of the people she loved."
"I love the staff here. We've been taking our kittens here ever since I got involved with a man with cats --13 years. I've taken the kitties here for everything from new kitty shots, annual rabies vaccines, to the most recent, bladder surgery. The staff is great. I know my pets will be well taken care of Every time I drop them off. Most recently, my cat had bladder stones. This is not a good thing and an even worse thing for boy cats. The doctor explained all the options and ultimately, I chose to have my cat have the surgery. It was the best option for him and I knew he was in good hands. Everything went as planned. The surgery went well and my cat is loopy, but not in pain and happily eating. This place really is great."
"This is my first time owning a pet. It was the first time my wife owned a pet of her own. We searched the internet for a good vet. We would definitely recommend Sheabel. Our vet and staff where very friendly. They did the exam and looked at her precious medical history. They then came back with a list of suggested exams and vaccines recommended and answered any questions we had. She even left the room and let me and my wife discuss it which was nice. The Vet was very friendly with our cat. She answered every question we had and made us feel less worried about our cat. I would highly recommend this place."
"I don't live in Lexington any longer, but I loved Nicholasville Road Animal Hospital. I had my cat declawed there and took him when he had an eye infection. They were kind, reasonably priced, and professional. I always felt like my fur-baby was in good hands!"
"Having had poor experiences at other 24 hour vets, I cannot recommend Bluegrass Vet Specialists enough... Destiny, Dr. Brad, and Leah were all super friendly, experts at their craft, and made my boy feel better. I cannot say enough good things about my experience, the day before Thanksgiving!"
"I fostered a collie for Woodstock and discovered the clinic! When I fostered another collie for Tri State Collie Rescue I took that collie to the Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic and fell in love with the care we received for Roger. They even gave him medication free since he was from a rescue even though it was not their rescue! When my own collie mix Lucy hurt her leg I told my husband this is where we are taking her for help! They assessed her injury that required surgery that they did not perform. They referred me for the best care and happily she is now successfully recovering. Woodstock really cares about your pet and I am greatly impressed with their services! I cannot say enough good things about this caring clinic!"
"I could not say enough to praise Dr. Sears and her immaculate staff at Village... we have 6 dogs currently and a few that have passed, but with every visit this amazing place never ceases to amaze or impress with their care, kindness, and overall feeling of comfort they consistently show our pups. I would recommend to anyone that has a fur baby or critter that needs attention. Did I mention they're reasonably priced compared to most, but I would spend twice as much for their level of professionalism and comforting atmosphere that they provide. If you have a vet, switch. If you need one, go here... you will not be disappointed and I wouldn't recommend unless I absolutely trusted them with my herd of dogs. Top notch"
"I've been bringing my dog and cat here ever since I got them. They've seen my pets for vaccinations, skin issues (which turned out to be allergies and resolved with some steroids), grooming, and an infected paw. The people who work here are super nice and my usually skittish dog is always excited to come here to greet the staff. The veterinarian is very knowledgeable and takes the time to teach you how to care for/follow up on treatment :)Really glad I found an awesome and reliable clinic!"
"Dr. Nieves and his crew are top notch for cats and dogs.He cares about his patients and his clients, he personally calls each client back to give a full status. Very informative and helpful."
"Dr. Donworth has provided great care for our cats and dogs, from young age to end of life. She is caring and competent and always discusses costs, especially for more expensive tests and procedures."
"This is a state of the art Veterinary Wellness Center that treats injured pets with state of the art rehabilitation equipment. The office is located inside Uptown Hounds to the left after you enter the building. The office is separate from the Uptown Hounds facility with two Veterinarians on staff. The phone number is 859-255-2275 for appointment and this number gets you to uptown hounds and then you select the Veterinary Wellness Center from the phone selection. This is the second injured dog we have taken to this clinic and they are the best. Our dog Lucy had ACL surgery at a different clinic and we were referred here for recovery therapy. They specialize in recovery therapy for your pet and they are the best at what they do to assist your pet in the best recovery possible."
"This clinic is so clean that it smells good - not like a pet care facility! The technicians and doctors are great and kind! They are right on and we love them! What matters most is our pets and they love the docs too!"
"Best veterinarian in town, been serving my fiancé's family for over 10 years, and my first dog for the last 2 years I've had her. Dr. Clark is always upfront about cost and provides excellent care, typically with several options based on severity of the issue. Sent a few friends here after their dogs had been misdiagnosed elsewhere, Dr. Clark took care of them properly and charged affordably. They also provide a payment plan if you have visited their clinic before."
"This veterinary office is not like any other veterinary office I have visited. They are a complete and thorough facility. Each staff member we dealt with were extremely professional and kind."
