"The three of us lived in Hyde Park or Pleasant Ridge for decades, driving often by Asiana and never stopping. Last night, that changed, and we will all be stopping again, frequently! The sushi is fresh and world class and the housemade rice noodles are as good as Greg, the owner with his wife, promised. Even though they were busy, they were happy to prepare this vegetarian's Massamun curry without fish sauce. Everything we ordered was delectable and we loved that Greg took time to stop at our table, tell their story and offer recommendations from their sizable, well-priced Thai and sushi menu. The dining room is small, but the tables turned pretty quickly and they clearly do a big carry out business. One thing to note: it's BYOB, although our server cheerfully provided glasses and an opener. Wine Merchant is at the end of the block with a great selection, including a dry riesling that paired well with our meal."

"Simply Thai is incredible! The vibe is very casual. Chill lo-fi beats in the bar area where we waited for takeout.The guy running the register was super helpful! He knew the ingredients of every dish and was able to help us meet our dietary needs.Highly recommended for gluten free, df, egg free, vegan! They can make everything on the menu (except for things that are fried and the yellow curry) gluten free!! As far as vegan, they will sub out proteins and use coconut milk to make any dish vegetarian or vegan!"

"I absolutely love Thai food so when I heard Time for Thai was the best in town, I had to try it.My husband and I stopped in after church on Sunday. It was around noon but there were already several tables occupied. The restaurant is a decent size but cozy and clean. We were seated immediately and the servers were super nice. I love tofu so we started out with the Golden Triangles app. This was the only disappointment. The tofu was fried well but was otherwise tasteless. For our entrees, my husband and I both chose the Pad Thai since it was our first time here. He had hot and I had medium. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. Y'all, it was so dang good! My shrimp was cooked perfectly and the veggies were nice and crunchy. The medium had a nice heat. I probably could have done hot but I always err on the side of caution when it comes to Thai food!Needless to say, we will be back!"

"Thai Noodles was a staple for our family when the pandemic was in full-swing. They had a drive-thru back then, but I don't think it's open anymore. Fortunately, the restaurant is still open. They have some of the best Thai food in Louisville. It's not a fancy spot. It's likely out of your way, but definitely worth the drive to Preston. It's one of those places that's good on a cold day, when you need sinus relief, it will pull you through a bout of COVID, it's perfect for anytime you need to eat your feelings. Tonight's order-Thai Red CurryRed curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoot, carrot, basil leaves, bell pepper and green bean.Pad ThaiStir-fried rice noodle with egg, bean sprout, scallion, your choice of meat and ground peanut.The portions are huge, but more than one dish feels necessary for achieving the right flavor combinations. The red curry is spicy, the pad Thai is nutty and sweet. Alternating bites is perfect, like dipping a French fry in your milkshake, or adding sea salt to your dark chocolate. I have other favorites depending on my needs. Chicken Ginger Rice Soup-Clear chicken broth with ground chicken, fresh ginger, rice and scallion.This is my favorite if my stomach is off or to grab for my toddlers. It's the only soup that's not spicy, but the broth is so flavorful. It's a win for everyone in our household.Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle)Stir-fried flat rice noodle with egg, basil leaves, broccoli, carrot, tomato, onion, bamboo shoot, your choice of meat in a basil sauce.This one is solid. If you aren't in the mood for peanut flavor, this would be my next noodle choice. Mild will still have a bit of kick, but you can get it as spicy as you dare.Pineapple Fried RiceStir-fried rice with chicken and shrimp, egg, cashew nut, onion, raisin and turmeric powder.This one should be at the top of your list. Pick your spice level. This one is a winner. If I hadn't been in the mood for curry, this would've been my next choice. The question isn't should you try Thai Noodles. You should. It's authentic. It's affordable. The service is friendly. This business is definitely worth patronizing. Maybe the question is, how many tries will it take you to find the salt to your chocolate? The shake to your fry? If you end up with leftovers, there are worse things. But, I bet you don't."

"This restaurant has been popular in Oldham county for some time now, and I can certainly see why! Every dish is carefully crafted, seriously, bringing a taste of Thailand to our old Kentucky home. Recently, I went with a friend and I ordered the Pad Kee Mow. Their spice level ranges from 1 to 4, and having been to other Thai restaurants in Louisville, I asked for a level 2. My waitress tried to talk me out of it, suggesting I do a level 1. I told her I eat spicy stuff all the time, and then I'm from Southern California so heat of no issue to me.Y'all, I cannot stress this enough. If the waitress suggests a heat level different than what you were trying to order, heed, that advice. My plate of noodles came out, and they looked scrumptious, and the waitress told me , "Welcome to Thailand" The noodles were delicious, but my God they were spicy as hell. My mind was willing, but my body (specifically my GI) was weak. I ate about half the dish and I took the rest home for my husband who loved it! The chicken skewers, and the fried tofu are also fantastic, I cannot recommend those enough!"

"O.M.G....I have found the authentic Thai restaurant in Kentucky -- Nat's is it!!Nat's is a very unassuming lil takeout only restaurant tucked into the side of McCarthy's Irish Bar and shares a front entrance with an Irish gift shop. It sounds odd, but totally worked! My friend and I walked up one afternoon, ordered food inside the restaurant, was told by the owner to "go next door, order a drink and he will bring the food over". We went to McCarthy's, ordered a couple of Pepsi and sat in the cutest nook by the window. Our orders arrived soon: Kobe beef grapao, shrimp salad. Wow! The flavors are sharp, distinct and intense, like Thai flavors are supposed to be. I would say the grapao's spice level is about medium for me. The salad was so spicy that I couldn't finish it. If you have the tendency to want "Thai Hot" in your dishes, this is the place that can serve it up! For one meal. These are prices I would expect to pay when ordering through a food delivery service, not for pick up from a small business. Taste and flavor were good, but nothing spectacular and not spicy at all, even though the description stated it was in a spicy sauce. The salad dressing container was barely half full. Overall, a three as others seem to absolutely love it but I seriously doubt I will eat there again."

Even though they normally seat and serve immediately, there was a shortage of staff this night. We had to wait a good while before we were seated. Then, there was additional 10 min wait before we were served water or asked about drinks. However, once our order was taken, the food came really quickly and was piping hot. The vegetarian eggroll, filled with cabbage and carrots, was fresh and fried crispy. The outer portion was not too thick or hard, which is just the way that I prefer my egg rolls. Any much perusing of the menu, I chose the basil chicken with a "hot" spicy level. I also ordered a Thai Ice tea, which comes with cream. The cream helps to neutralize the spicy food. So that you can actually taste the flavors without you mouth being "on fire" from the spiciness. I really enjoyed my dining experience. I realize that our extra wait was because the restaurant was severely understaffed that night. I would love to try other dishes on future visits to Lexington."
