"One of the best burger joints in town! It's near the 104 exit or the new soccer stadium. Very nice crew and quick service! I just wish they'd increase their timings a bit,"
"Looking for AUTHENTIC? Look no further! Today was my second time visiting, and last visit did not disappoint either! Today I ordered Supremo Nachos (marinated pork) and a pork tamale! Absolutely incredible, it's Easter, I have to work, and I was craving pork and home cooked Mexican Food. Well, needless to say I found my place, and I can't stress enough, you GET what you pay for!!! Delicious, and great service! Kind workers!"
"Our food experience was enhanced by the delightful arrival via the Kitty Cat Robot, which delivered everything with remarkable speed and quality. I ordered the Cubana torta, which was not only enormous but also steaming hot, accompanied by perfectly seasoned fries. My partner chose the El Maximo, filled with delectable pork al pastor--it was truly the largest burrito we've ever encountered! We ended up taking half of it home with us. After such a satisfying meal, a nap is definitely in order. To complement our dishes, we had fresh horchata and pineapple frescaa, both absolute perfect additions that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Go there now for something special and new in Louisville!"
"I came in here on a Sunday afternoon. It was empty. The interior is pretty. My server was wonderful and attentive. The bourbon drink was good. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich. It was a large portion and delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend others to dine here."
"Possibly my new favorite restaurant when visiting Richmond! I have traveled a lot of places and had Birria tacos, but I do think these are my favorite anywhere I've ever been."
"The best food truck tacos I have ever eaten. So good, my son tried one and loved it. Tortillas were made fresh, and it made all the difference. Meat was well seasoned and not dry. Red and green salsas topped them off perfectly. Man in the truck was very friendly and nice. Will be back if my son decides to go to UKY."
"I always enjoy the ambience and the food. Menu is unique, and always a flavorful gastronomical experience! If you're looking for a "run of the mill" Mexican food restaurant this is not it. If you want a nice spin on south of the border you can't miss this! I've been to 3 of their locations and have been er been disappointed."
"We recently visited this past Saturday night before the Super Bowl. The owner, Chan allowed us to host an Eagles pre game party...as he's also a fan. We were greeted at the door and sat at a table by the bar. Obviously couldn't sit at the bar with a toddler. We had to ask for menus but our first round of drinks were good. I had the "Philly Special" which is a green, very fruity drink. I had to go with the vibes, but one and done for me. They do make a mean old fashioned, though!Hubs wanted brisket, out of that. No pulled pork. So he ordered the smoked wings. Pretty decent. Fries were good. I had a chicken cheesesteak...great flavor, soft bread, but the chicken was almost burnt. This is a new spot so still a few kinks but would love to come back to either location to try some more food. Always good to support local."
"This place is great! They make it right in front of you like 5 Guys, I'm guessing that's why they call it 2 Amigos. Or maybe I'm way off. Either way, everything I've had has been great so try it all!"
"Great spot. Quick service. Good flavor. Perfect amount of salt. I got the asada and the Barbacoa. Both were fantastic. Served with super juicy limes and plenty. Great flavor in the salsa roja but the verde really shines. Amazingly creamy. Bring flavor to the tacos without overpowering with heat. The only suggestion is to use two tortillas and throw them on the flat top a little longer. I like the tortilla a little more leathery and when I got to work to eat it, it's was a little soft, but it held together fine. It's a personal thing so I didn't ding a point. It's recommended."

Tacqueria San Marcos isn't much to look at, but the tacos are authtico. I had a Barbacoa and an al Pastor, both excellent and generously filled with meat. I love the addition of radishes. Of the two sauces, I liked the green over the red. Lady serving me was very nice and didn't shame my Spanish. Menudo on weekends, so I may have to return for that. 122

Really good food! I would highly recommend the Torta and it is fantastic; get a side of chips if your only get the sandwich. The taco salad's are very good as well. The place is clean and the service was great! Overall, a great place to put into your rotation.

Loma's is upscale dining that you would expect to find in a larger city, but with a local twist. The venue is beautiful and has lots of space for groups.

Good things come in small packages, especially at Tacos El Paisa in downtown Richmond. If you want authentic fare, this is the place! The location is tiny, but the food is mighty! The interior is clean and minimal but they squeeze in a full bar and a replica of their first food truck where it all began. They have a few dishes that sell out on the daily. Everything is made fresh to order. They have a salsa bar to accompany your food orders. This establishment is run by folk who love what they are doing and it shows. Also, the price points are awesome, well below any other Mexican restaurant, along with better tasting food. It's a win-win. Service was SUPER fast but they weren't very busy while we were there. It's not a fancy date night place but it's a delicious date night place! Extra points for an extremely clean bathroom.

"I am so very excited that I Love Tacos opened a second location down the street from me! We went to the new location last night for dinner and the staff was gracious, helpful, kind. I really enjoyed my peach swirl margarita, and the table thought the fresh guacamole and chips were the perfect starter. Food was on point. This was my first time trying birria tacos! Messy, but delicious. If you have yet to try this food trend Louisville, now is your chance. One area I see for improvement is the dining area was so open in the old Tumbleweed building, they hadn't done much to create areas of dining space and that left the ambiance feeling like a noisy cafeteria hall. Not my favorite. I hear they are planning on live music so perhaps that's why they left everything so open? Even still, it would be great to see more investment in the interior like they have in J-town so it makes for a more intimate setting."
"Phenomenal!! Best food ever! It's the best lunch spot here in Brandenburg for hard working people!"
"Geeeez! I've never had Arepa better than these! If you don't try these, you hate food. It's delicious"
"I love tacos and these are delicious!! Food truck in gas station parking lot. Tacos are priced between $2.50 and $3.00. There are plenty of meat options, including tongue if you are adventurous. I got the chicken, ground beef and fish tacos. They come in street style and supreme. Loved them all but the chicken was my favorite, it had so much flavor!"
"Pretty good fried chicken! They have a choice of drumsticks, tenders or wings. Meals come with your choice of rice or pickled beets. I got the spicy garlic wings. They had a little kick but not near as spicy as I was expecting. I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for spice so don't let me be the judge of that lol but I will go for the hottest they have next time. Service was friendly & fast. You order at the counter, get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. When you're finished you throw away your things & set your tray on the trash can. Place is spacious & has three different areas for seating. Cool, casual & comfortable. Glad we stopped in. Oh, we liked their onion rings & the pickled beets. The pickled beets had a coleslaw style flavor. My mom & I were pleasantly surprised. So light & refreshing. If you're fan of boba & sweets they have plenty of options to choose from."
"We knew were in a good restaurant when our friendly server, Jamie, greeted us. I chose the restaurant because of its extensive and varied menu at Jamie was helpful in making suggestions and answering questions. The food was delicious."
"Late post: They always have good customer service. This entree was really good. Glad I had time to actually sit down and enjoy this entree. Look at this masterpiece!"
"Good tacos and LOTS of sauces to choose from. There was plenty of time to do template sauces because it took a bit for our food to come out. Friendly staff, though there wasn't always someone behind the counter to greet customers and take orders, which made things confusing for while. Servers were walking around and filling drink orders to take to tables, so again, confusing. The guy who did take our order was extremely chipper and energetic. We went during summer and it was hot outside. The outside patio, which is mostly shaded, still had a lot of lunching customers, but we chose one of the sunny bar style seats and the front of the house. The restaurant is a converted house, by the way. There was darke, quieter seating in the back, which you walk through on your way to the restroom."
"Sals is definitely a diamond in the rough from the homemade chips and salsa to the hand cut steaks sals is the place to go. It's not fancy but don't let it's looks cool you."
"This place is unbelievable. My girlfriend and I were in the nearby Office Depot, and decided to walk over and give this place a try.Audrey ordered a gordita and some refried beans, and I had 3 tacos (pork, beef, and chorizo). All of my tacos were outstanding, but the chorizo was particularly good. The food comes with a sauce and a green sauce. Both sauces are spicy. Be forewarned. In fact. I would say all of my food was spicy, except the plain pork taco I had. It was bursting with flavor but not spicy.Audrey said the gordita was terrific, and I had a bite of her refried beans. Amazing. The price was good. It wasn't busy so we sat right down. They were making every effort to social distance, mandate masks, etc. So I appreciate that.I may have found a new favorite taco place in Louisville."
"Told the cashier it was our first time and he gave us recommendations along with a choice of free quac or queso. We chose queso. Very good but I loved the salsa best. Cashier recommended Birria and Baja Fish tacos which I got along with Vaca Frita. My friend got shrimp taco and bourbon taco. Everything was delicious and portions were HUGE. We only managed to eat one full taco and took bites of the others. My friend's favorite was the Birria which didn't have enough spice for me but was tasty. Vaca Frita and both seafood tacos had some kick. I loved the Vaca Frita but wished I'd gotten the bourbon taco as well which tasted like barbecue and had corn and cojita cheese. Staff was very friendly and great. I don't usually tip when I order counter service but I did here. Place was clean and patio looked nice but a little too warm out when we went."
"Their second week open and they are rocking! If everyone is patient and allows them to get a groove and figure everything out, this will be a staple downtown! Great service, wonderful drinks, the food is fantastic. House made ranch dressing, so good! We will be back!"
"Nice to have a new Mexican restaurant in this part of town. I drove by it one day and noticed it, finally got to stop in last weekend and try it. I ordered a huarache with al pastor. They bring out complimentary chips and salsa, which was nice. Good salsa, especially the spicy green that they asked if we wanted. Easy parking out front. Nice staff. Food was good. I have a few ultimate favorite Mexican street food places that I frequent, and I still like those better but I am definitely glad to see this place and will come back if I am in the area and wanting Mexican food. They have a large menu by the way, much more than just street food!"
"Still delicious after opening a year later. I was looking for a place for lunch on Thanksgiving. Nothing is open. Tacos Time is though..we in, had a delicious taco salad. I definitely need to keep this place on my go to places."
"I'd always passed this place and wanted to give it a try, but never did. We were the only people in the restaurant, but I did see some people come in for carry out. It is a true authentic street food. The corn in a cup was amazing! They had beef tongue tacos, but were out the day we went. These are my husband's favorite, so hence the 4 stars instead of 5. They also have lots of spices, tortillas, etc for sale up front. On a side note, there is no place for a tip when you pay with a card, just a head up... so have a cash or let them know the tip ahead."
"This. Food. Is. Fabulous. I almost hate to write a review because I want to keep this restaurant find all to myself. But it's too good not to share. El Taco Loco just opened a few weeks ago. It's clean, bright, with cool art and lots of ventilation. And the food. Oh lord, the food. From the soups to the sandwiches to the tacos, the food is flavorful, well spiced and well cooked. Not over cooked or drowning in sauce. The tortillas--corn and flour--are handmade. The food's made from scratch and fresh cooked. If you enjoy Mexican food, you'll enjoy this place."
"Good food and good service. My wife, grandkids and I have dined here several times and had enjoyable meals. Some of my favorites are burritos. I like the Herd Burrito, the Carnitas Burrito, and the Tres Amigos burrito. They have a few brews on tap too, and cool custom design painted walls.I almost forgot, they have an excellent Crab Cakes appetizer."
"Y'all. Go. Go here. Right now. You will NOT regret it!!I have a list of new places in Lex that I want to try this summer and this was on it. I was going to Trader Joe's and this was super close so I stopped by. It's in the shopping center with Clothes Mentor and Plato's Closet on Nich Road.I am in my taco era right now eating them once a day probably 5 days a week. The parking lot in front was packed so when I walked in to absolutely no one in the restaurant I was shocked. A very kind server named Fabiola sat me at a table and took my order. They didn't automatically bring out chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants, she asked if I wanted them. I ordered a water, a Baja fish taco, and a Baja shrimp taco. The tacos have in-house made fresh tortillas, and they were DELICIOUS. The shrimp and fish were clearly cooked to order. They came with a mild green sauce and then a hotter sauce, neither were my cup of tea but I can see how they would be good to others. I'm just a salsa girl. The chips and salsa were very good. I couldn't tell if the chips were also in-house made, they tasted better than typical Mexican restaurant chips, and were perfectly salted. The salsa was just right, and I'm a salsa snob.Ambiance = 5/5 'sFood = 5/5 'sService = 5/5 'sI can't figure out why this place was empty. The prices weren't high, the food was delicious, service was on point, location is great. Only thing I can think is that no one really knows about it? Fabiola said they had only been open for 6 months, so maybe it's not well known. But I HIGHLY recommend, and I will DEFINITELY be going back!!"
"Clean, well-designed space. Friendly staff. Tons of options. Reasonably priced. Quickly served. Large portions. Fresh and delicious ingredients. What's not to like?"
"Awesome food they catered for our company taco party. We did a taco bar with the steak, chicken, and chorizo option all were awesome. Great pricing great food the red sauce has a kick but not overpowering. My husband favorite was the chorizo, but I like the steak carnita with red sauce radish cheese and cilantro. Amazing and will definitely do it again."
"Came for late dinner Friday night. There were a lot of people waiting for seats by the door but since I was by myself got a seat at the bar immediately. Got the mojo shrimp plate, it was good, not amazing. The bar didn't have that much choice for non-alcoholic drinks besides soda and jarritos. I asked if they had a chicha morada (peruvian purple corn drink) and the server has never heard of it. I've had better peruvian food in other cities, this is ok. Service was good and food arrived fast."
"Been following the truck on Facebook since I moved to Bardstown 6 months ago. They finally opened a restaurant so I thought I would try it. I got the Burrito Grande and Guacamole and chips. It was absolutely delicious! The burrito was bigger than my foreman. Loaded with delicious ingredients. Lettuce, rice, tomatoes, beef. So good. They have a lot of options for protein and if anyone does keto, they have keto friendly options. The guacamole had the best flavor. Staff was super friendly. Can't wait to go back and try something else."
"This truck was parked at a local ice-cream social recently and it was the first time I'd ever heard of them. I got a burger and fries which were fairly tasty. If you like food-truck burgers, you likely won't be disappointed. One thing, though...why don't food trucks ever carry Coke Zero? When I announce my presidential bid for 2020, I will run a platform of 1) Coke Zero at food trucks and 2) Even though I'm not 35 I should still be able to run for President."
