"Excellent food and service. Menu is excellent..sushi as well. Fish .. fried rice. Japanese beer."
"Today we visited Ricardo's at 11:30. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our hostess was attentive and noticed we had a toddler with us. She thought ahead and brought us a booster and a kids menu. We were seated on the patio which was nicely covered with fans as well! Our waitress was thoughtful and while taking our drink order asked if we wanted our son's food to be put in first. Service was amazing. The food was ordered quickly and came out hot and fresh. Throughout our meal we had many check-in's from all our server. We will be coming back again soon!"

"Buffet was good and it had steak on it. And place was clean. Service was good and friendly."
"Decent food, service was slow with the staffing (understandable in today's world). Amazing hostess, who helped speed up food and drinks. Music on Friday evening was nice. Salmon was mediocre, good mashed potatoes, and decent build your own burger"
"Tried Rivertown for the first time while in town. Food was mediocre. The burger was OK. It tasted like a froze. Patty- I don't know that it is- just on the same par. It had a very strong pepper taste. I ordered it without the bun. Our party had the Ruben as well and it was ok- it was compared to Arby's and Arby's winning. The positives: service was GREAT! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. It was reported that the crawfish étouffée was "very good." The dill ranch was good as well! It was pretty quiet and there was only one other table. I could see it being a fun place to have a drink or two and meet up with a friend. If you're looking for a place with good atmosphere and service and don't really care about quality of food, this place is right on par!"
"What a wonderful dining experience, From the time we were seated Gideon, our server, offered us a wonderful experience. The tossed salad was very fresh and chilled and the rest of the evening was even better.Three of the four of us had stuffed flounder as the entre' while the fourth had a cheeseburger. The flounder was cooked perfectly and was topped with a fantastic crab stuffing with a tasty sauce on top. That was served over rice. Even the broccoli was very good.It was my first time there and let me tell you that it was certainly worth the drive over from Huntington. We will be back!"
"So far, my family of 5 have visited this steakhouse twice and both experiences were five stars! The steaks are cooked perfectly to order, burgers flavorful and juicy, chicken broccoli alfredo wasn't swimming in alfredo which I prefer. Servers are knowledgeable of the menu and very nice/respectful. This restaurant is clean and taken care of, even the bathrooms. The prices and serving sizes are comparable to other steakhouses. What really sold me is this restaurant uses beef from local farmers. I will be recommending Big Bull Steakhouse to anyone looking for quality food and a great experience!"
"Drinks, food, and service were great. We were 20 minutes late due to baby sitter but they held our table and our friends just hung out at the bar. Then food was awesome."
"One of Louisville's finer restaurants, this place will be a great dinner for folks. All the meat entrees were a finer quality beef selections. The sides and desserts all were excellent. Maybe a (4) dollar sign level of pricing. But at least you won't be disappointed in what comes to the table."
"Coba is a new spot and still pretty "green" in terms of service. My parents and I were not in a rush, so overall we had a pleasant time, but service was slow, and it seemed like they were either understaffed or still trying to figure things out. I will be happy to return in a month or two to see where things have changed because this place does have a lot of potential. The interior is super cute and the drinks were amazing. I tried the rose margarita, my mom had the Italian margarita and the drinks alone or worth it to come back. Chips and salsa, pretty basic, but can't go wrong. Other food was pleasant, not life-changing, but a solid tex-mex place to come back to. I hope that they iron out a few more details, get the space to move a little bit more smoothly, and I will be happy to bring more people in!"
"Oh my god! So very good. Andre was exquisite in his service! Food was perfectly prepared. You must have the bread so awesome. Tuna tartar superb some the best we have had ever.Steak and Scallops were to die for.Great cheesecake and coffee ended a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended."
"Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"

I was looking forward to checking out River Oaks in downtown Madison. I've eaten at their sister restaurant in North Vernon and it was excellent, so I had pretty high expectations of River Oaks. Upon entering the restaurant, there were multiple empty tables. We were greeted by the hostess who began to take us to a back room. When we inquired about sitting towards the front of the restaurant, we were told that was not an option. Those were for people with reservations. We had reservations, scheduled our reservation over 3 weeks ago. So....not sure. The back room felt like an afterthought, overflow at best. It was stuffy and the tables were too close together. Our table on the day of the KY Derby. A large TV was hung on the wall but staff indicated the TV was broke and not operating. The restaurant just opened..... The food, we ordered 2 sharables and all carte steaks. One person ordered 12 oz filet cooked medium-well and his steak was more medium, all pink. Another person ordered the ribeye to be cooked to medium rare, which was good. Crispy on the outside, pink on the inside. I ordered a 12 oz filet cooked medium, my steak was raw on the inside. Not warm, cold and raw. I ate the outsides of it the filet as those were cooked more. No no one came back to ask us how our food was until the end of the meal. At that point, I asked for a box. We ordered creamed corn which was great and cacio brussels which was nothing special. Some brussel sprouts were too hard, some were too mushy. There was a little bit of charred brussel leaves at the bottom of the bowl; those were really good. Needed more seasonings. If River Oaks is trying to be a serious steakhouse, they need improve the experience. River Oaks prices the food like its a steakhouse; we spent $80/person (or $240 total). Other steakhouses with similar price points offer bread, salad, and have a much better ambiance.

To be honest, I wanted to like this restaurant more than I actually did. I went in thinking I'd get great food, and I was underwhelmed. On the plus side, I really like the atmosphere. They went with the train depot theme and I think that was a hit. Additionally, the service here was great. Our server was super attentive and she earned an excellent tip.But why do you go to a restaurant? You're looking for incredible food. The kind you can't make at home. I think on this one Ricardo's was a miss. Let me break it down...Catfish platter (fried) ~ really good, not great. Of all the meals, this one would be the one I'd recommend. The cole slaw that came with it -- unfortunately tasteless.Catfish platter (blackened) ~ limited seasoning led to lack of flavor. I can do better at home. You don't want to say that.Broccoli casserole ~ served to us room temperature. You've got to do better than that. Sirloin ~ good, but again, nothing spectacular. Could do better at the house.New Orleans pasta ~ not that great the day we got it. Took leftovers home and it was much better the next day after it had time to pull in all the spices. Granny Smith Apple salad ~ way overpriced for what you get here. Shockingly so for what you get.In the end, I'd like to say I'd be back. But the restaurant business is extremely competitive. You have to hook the customer the first time. They didn't do that. And I can name you ten restaurants right now within 20 miles that have incredible cuisine. I'm just doubtful I'll chance this one again.

I am on a bus trip with 40 people. The service was can do and attentive. The restaurant at 600 was 90% full so they are doing something right. Cost was $17 ..they had steak, chicken baked and fried, ribs, meatloaf, mac anf cheese...2 salad tables, 3 hot entree and side tables, 2 dessert tables and ice cream machine. I really enjoyed the meatloaf and pea salad, the yeast rolls were hot and as others described. Tim was one of servers so we got a few jokes as entertainment. Husband enjoyed ribs, mashed potatoes (creamy) and apple cobbler. Right off I 75 so a great stop. Others raved about butterscotch pie...no one left hungry or unhappy.

The visitor center in Slade recommended this restaurant while we were vacationing in the RR Gorge. There weren't not many places open on Mon/Tue so we drove over to Campton and loved this.Salmon Bites with Bourbon Dip were wonderful! I liked my Margarita and my husband and I loved our Fried Chicken SandwichesLiberty was a friendly and gregarious server.Highly recommend this restaurant.

Four of us for lunch. Started by splitting a half order of chicken livers. The menu stated a half order was a half pound of livers. The livers were very good. However, the order seemed awfully small to be a half pound.. We also tried their cup of gumbo ($9.99). The gumbo was pretty good, but I prefer gumbo made with a brown roux, this gumbo was tomato based.Three of us had the Half Corned Beef Reuben lunch special served with fries ($9.99). The sandwich was average, not bad but nothing outstanding either. The fries were ordered crispy and they arrived as ordered. Fries were very good. One person had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It looked good and he said he did like it. They have bottle beer, no draft. IMO the highlights were the livers and fries.Service was very good, fast and friendly.

"Bruno's Spotted Hare is fantastic.I stopped by recently with a family member while visiting, having heard good initial things about this restaurant. The space is gorgeous; it has the dark coziness of a lodge with beautiful, wild-inspired accents. We were seated in a booth near the window: the booth was comfortable but may be a tight squeeze if two larger adults are sitting on the same side (I'd recommend asking for a table in that case).I started off with an American Trilogy cocktail and loved it; it was surprisingly smooth and easy to drink while being flavorful. We debated appetizer options but went with the sourdough bread and butters. The butters were rosemary, garlic, and sorghum, and while all were great, the sorghum was a favorite. The bread was flavorful and nicely chewy.I'm always happy to see a vegetarian-friendly soup on a menu, so I ordered the beans and greens soup and loved it. It has a very deep flavor, yet the beans weren't overly mushy. The server (who was amazing) recommended some Tabasco for adding heat, which I enjoyed. For entrées, my dining partner got the fried chicken on the server's recommendation, and I got the mushroom pasta. The fried chicken was described by my relative as a crunchy coating with a moist meat; they called it "the best fried chicken" they've had. I tasted the mashed potatoes and can happily vouch for them, as they were creamy and perfectly seasoned. My dining partner raved about the home-style green beans, too.My mushroom pasta was fantastic. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and were flavorful without being slimy or mushy. The pasta was hearty and cooked al dente. As a pleasant surprise. I got a couple slices of bread with my pasta, too; this time topped with some cheese and seasoning. It was perfect for soaking up the last bits of pasta sauce, as I cleaned my plate.I got dessert to go; it was the cornmeal pound cake and packaged conveniently (with the ice cream separate). It was delicious even at home; the cake itself wasn't too sweet, meaning that the combination of it, the ice cream, and the honey had a perfect balance of flavor.I will try to make a special trip here whenever I'm in the area. It's a beautiful, special addition to the local dining scene."
"We had dinner here Saturday night for my birthday. It's got a great feel and vibe. Upscale but not snooty. The charcuterie board was amazing. Our group of six all had plenty with the option labeled for four. But it was an appetizer for us. The main course for me was a tomahawk steak. I had never had one but always wanted to try it. It's not an inexpensive choice by any means but it was a special occasion. It was the best steak that I have ever tasted!Service was excellent. The server was always there just when you needed her but never seemed to be hovering. Overall it was a great night out if on the spendy side."
"This place checks all the boxes! Started with the baked Brie and bruschetta for the table and both were delicious.Had the filet and scallops on a bed of Gouda cheese grits, asparagus and crab butter it's amazing. Carson's is an excellent choice for dining in Lexington."
"Since moving here from California we've been looking for good or even great sushi. We came here to check out their sushi bar. I noticed right away that it was quite warm inside, even a little uncomfortable. If you're headed here, I'd suggest you dress accordingly. As for the sushi, it was good! Jason, the sushi chef, is very personable and makes the best sushi we've had since we've been in Cincinnati. The beer was cold & the margarita was prepared quickly, which stands out to me, as many times there's a considerable wait when I order mixed drinks at restaurants. Our server kept up on our drinks, sides, and had a sweet demeanor. I'd recommend Sakura for sure!"
"100% my favorite steak place!!! This is genuinely my go to spot for a well seasoned ribeye or NY steak! They use wood burning grills outside and engulfed in smoky perfection! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, I've never had to wait long on getting an amazing and affordable meal, and I never have regrets coming here. I typically order the small steak and usually end up taking half home. Key tip, ask for the steak au jus sauce to go if you plan to reheat later. Put the steak and au jus in a pan on your stove top on low heat to warm up, and it's like having it at the restaurant all over! I recommend the ribber fries which are like lighter fluffier Saratoga chips. I ask for mine crispier though. Also, the beer battered onion rings are on point! Top it all off with a local beer brewed literally next door, and you're set! Enjoy one of the best restaurants Portsmouth has to offer folks, you will not regret it!"
"Melt in your mouth steaks. Salad bars from the old days. Perfect martinis. Excellent service."
"Excellent Rib Eye with baked potato and salad.Be sure to have the derby pie with ice cream and hot fudge too!"
"Interesting experience. Came in and only one table was seated. One server, but since no one was there on a Friday night at 6, wasn't a problem. Service was quick. Food was good. Biggest problem everything we order was out..prime rib, shrimp, clams, had to keep ordering because it was in the menu but they didn't have it. Then the chef came out and offered a side item to the other table that wasn't on the menu. But the food was good"
"First and foremost, The Blue Heron Steakhouse is locally owned and operated. It's been my experience that locally owned and operated is always a wonderful event. More inviting, great service, delicious meals/drinks and an overall "take care of the customer" attitude. The Blue Heron Steakhouse hit all of these marks. A very charming old home that's been renovated with original fireplace, and stately bar and seating area. The Loaded Baked Potato soup is an understatement. There was so much toppings you couldn't see the soup! (See pic). And what flavor. I'm so glad I took the servers recommendation on the "Commanders Fish of the Day" what a fabulous dish and a virtual taste bud explosion! Lol. And what 5 star review would be complete without mentioning what great service that was provided and well crafted cocktails they have."
"Sals is definitely a diamond in the rough from the homemade chips and salsa to the hand cut steaks sals is the place to go. It's not fancy but don't let it's looks cool you."
"I love the food. I always order to go so I don't have to deal with the waitresses. I see in the reviews they're rough here. But, it is in Radcliff, so no surprise. The bento boxes are the best."
"Everything was on point! Fast service and its cozy atmosphere. The food exceeded my expectations."
"They've remodeled and upped their offerings. Highly recommend the new style sashimi special. 9 pieces and you pick three different fish. We had tuna, white tuna and salmon. All super fresh and delicious. No rice. A bed of high quality lettuces with sesame ponzu dressing. Good ginger house salad. Another of my favorites is the Love Wrap also without rice so great if you prefer low carb. Chic atmosphere and friendly, quick service. Conveniently located next to Trader Joe's."
"One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Definately one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Great food, great service, amazing bar upstairs."
"The atmosphere was great. Had a good speakeasy vibe. Our service was excellent. We had the Honey Cajun Salmon with broccoli and the Creekstone Flat Iron steak with mac and cheese and sweet potato mash. The salmon was good, but the shrimp it was served with really stole the show for me. Broccoli had great seasoning. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked and had the perfect blend of seasoning on it. Mac and cheese and sweet potato mash were okay."
"My friend ordered the large ribeye steak, and I ordered the lunch portion of cod and potatoes. Both were EXCELLENT! We have never had a bad, or even "ok" meal here. Our serve, Jeremy, was fantastic, answering questions, and taking great care that we were pleased, The atmosphere here is like Texas country, relaxed but not shabby. When Reno's was located in Danville, KY, it was our favorite. Now we will drive 50+ miles to eat here, so it isn't often, but is always a delight.Did I mention Jeremy?"
"I can not believe I just had a hibachi meal for $6.99! Danville, y'all are lucky. I've had both express hibachi and sit down fancy smancy style Japanese steakhouses and this one takes the cake... well, steak. $6.99 beef tips that is.The location is a bit inconspicuous, in a strip mall attached and nestled between a Dollar Tree and a gym. At first you get the feel that it's an express hibachi, which in a way it was... only as far as the fact that they make it in the back, not at a hibachi table in front of you and the fact that the food arrived minutes after ordering. When I walked in, I have to admit that I was a bit put off by the sign that indicated that there's a $.50 surcharge for any order under $8. What I found most annoying about it is that after gratuity I spent well over $8. Did they seriously think this through? I assure you that it's more annoying and off putting to the patrons than the $.50 is worth. I ordered the beef tip hibachi. Even though they didn't make it in front of me, I could hear the chef in the back preparing what just might be the best hibachi meal I've ever had. Yep, I think I'm past the annoyance of the credit card penalty. Yep, it was the best hibachi I've ever had. The beef was perfectly flavored and not a hint of fat. The vegetables that are hidden by the mound of what they consider lunch portion size of beef, were fresh and tasty, not your average pre-chopped or frozen vegetables. I know fresh mushrooms when I see them. How far is Danville from Lexington? I would say that it's worth stopping in if you're passing through like I was, but I'm going to go as far to say that it's worth the trip from Lexington."
"We enjoyed this Asian restaurant, but nothing special. There were not many options in Leitchfield, especially on a Sunday night when most locations were closed. We were pleasantly surprised to find good hibachi grill entrees. My husband had chicken and scallops with grilled vegetables, and I had filet mignon and shrimp. Good portion size. Came with soup and salad. Service was very good, but ambiance was nonexistent."
"Went to Carson's from some heavy recommendations from locals. A group of 5 of us sat at the bar for dinner. The overall menu is impressive and has steak options in the mid $30 range to $70. I went with the Filet Medallions and Scallops. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and the crab and lobster topping was so flavorful. The rest of the group had similar cuts of steaks from the Barrel Cut Filet Mignon to the Black Angus Ribeye. Not one complaint was heard from our group and it will definitely be high on the list if we ever return to Lexington."
"Great steakhouse in downtown Bowling Green. Central location makes it easy to walk anywhere in downtown Bowling Green. Amazing food and cocktail options. Great indoor/outdoor seating. Service is always top notch."
"Just moving to the area we decided to try this steakhouse. Charlie our server was awesome. I had the Catfish (which was excellent) my husband had the Bourbon BBQ Bacon Burger (which was huge) and excellent as well. The only drawback was they had our choice of Dos Equis Amber on the menu which we ordered only to find out they no longer carry it.Overall this was a nice welcoming experience."
"Overall, a wonderful experience. The service was very good and professional. They were happy to help us and worked quickly to provide updates and keep our drinks full. The drink menu was great, plenty of good options. The vibe inside is darker with medium levels of music. There is also a relatively lively vibe inside. The food was the star of the show. The Wellington is worth every penny and the best piece of beef I have had in a long while. Additionally, the pork belly was perfect. So tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My only complaint is with the Cesar salad. It was way over dressed and over powering. When I mentioned it to the waiter, they didn't want to replace it and said that was normal... I found that to be a bit odd and didn't believe it. Aside from that, this was a 1.5 hour dining experience, a bit on the long side but it was nice. I certainly recommend a visit."
"We ate here because we were in the hotel across the street and we love hibachi. The staff was very nice and we were seated at the cooking table quickly. The waitress, Jenny, was wonderful. Unfortunately, we had a new cook who didn't do any of the traditional cooking fun things. He never even smiled!!!! The soup and salad were delicious. The rice and veges, great. The filet.... I ordered medium and the lady next to me ordered medium rare. They both came out WELL!!! I could only eat 1/2. When we told Jenny, she was sooo sorry and apologized from her heart. They did compensate us. Overall, 4 stars."
