"I come to dittos for special occasions. While it may not be the most fancy place, the food, the place and the staff are all amazing. Dittos has so many menu options available. On our visit today we ordered the meatloaf, the chicken carbonara and the chicken salad. Our waitress was kind and got us a kids meal ordered before leaving with our drink order. We were given refills on bread and drinks without even asking. Our food was delivered quickly and very fresh. We will continue to visit dittos as it is one of our favorites places in Louisville!"
"Super yummy Mexican. Some of the best I've ever had. Currently living in Wisconsin and here to visit for a day. I would recommend this place to anyone."
"I secretly wanted to keep this little Mexican restaurant to myself, but I believe good food is meant to be shared. The quality of the food at this restaurant is top notch and super authentic. The green verde sauce is 100. Food came out quickly and was full of fresh ingredients. Portions were very generous and the service was efficient. The restrooms are clean, which is not always the case with small local restaurants. I'd certainly come back!"
"Great food! Great service and a good atmosphere. Chicken and shrimp, both perfectly cooked, I'm one who hates overcooked meats, these were perfect! Topped with a white cream/chease sauce, pinnaples and a ground beef perfectly braised. Soooo good"
"Ordered a shrimp and crawfish boil for Fat Tuesday. The value was there, $41 after I added 2 eggs and 4 pieces of corn for my kids, their favorite part The highlight was the sauce. Cajun garlic butter was thick and just slightly spicy, and thickened as it cooled. It wasn't too oily.My only complaint would be that the crawfish and shrimp were definitely imported. It is to be expected as that's cheaper for the restaurant, but if there was a gulf option I would take it, even with a hefty upcharge. I could have used some sausage too, but that's probably just me being greedy.Overall, the seafood boil was good and not amazing. It's on par with Joes Crab Shack, but couldn't compete with gulf shore boils. I'll return and try something else off the menu next visit."
"Tried Rivertown for the first time while in town. Food was mediocre. The burger was OK. It tasted like a froze. Patty- I don't know that it is- just on the same par. It had a very strong pepper taste. I ordered it without the bun. Our party had the Ruben as well and it was ok- it was compared to Arby's and Arby's winning. The positives: service was GREAT! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. It was reported that the crawfish étouffée was "very good." The dill ranch was good as well! It was pretty quiet and there was only one other table. I could see it being a fun place to have a drink or two and meet up with a friend. If you're looking for a place with good atmosphere and service and don't really care about quality of food, this place is right on par!"
"My review is based solely on sushi, as it is all we ordered. It was really good. The price was on par with other places in etown, but the portions were way better. We ordered at least 6 different rolls including some containing raw fish. All were very good and the raw fish tasted fresh. I would highly recommend the black dragon roll."
"We ate here twice, a supper and a breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the supper was pretty good. It's nice sitting by the river and watching it Go by. In the morning there was a little fog over the Ohio which made for a nice atmosphere. The atmosphere is typical casual for a Riverside type of restaurant. The wait staff was very nice and efficient. For supper most of us had the fish special which was either catfish or whitefish. The catfish was very good but the white fish was a little undercooked and somewhat mushy. The Johnny cakes cornbread were cold and not great flavor. So the supper was good but not great. For breakfast most of us had eggs bacon toast pancakes and coffee. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were superb. I eat mine without any butter or syrup and they had an excellent flavor despite the lack of those extras. We tried an order of goetta as most in our group had never tasted it before. I don't really like it but I liked their version. For those who don't know goetta is a combination of beef pork spices and oatmeal that is cooked like a flat sausage patty and is very popular in the Cincinnati area.We were two full to try the desserts but they look pretty good. The price for what you get was very good as well. We would definitely go here again if we are back in the area."
"Ate here yesterday due to 4.5 star reviews on other sites. I was surprised to see yelp had such a low rating so I started reading through the 3 star and under reviews and IMO it seems to me like a group of people gave bad reviews due to a tip being automatically added to their bill. What I saw in the bad reviews was not what we experienced last night. It is common for nicer places to add a tip to the bill for large groups so I don't see any issue with this at all. If you don't want to tip then eat at fast service places. Waiters and waitresses make below minimum wage, their primary income comes from tips. If you can't afford it, eat at places with no wait staff. The drinks were amazing and the food was great. Fajitas, mac and cheese, burgers, wings, nachos were all top notch, ranch dressing was a little bland but still good. The wings should come with a dip but our waiter brought it out with no issue at all.A little pricey but all was good and the ambiance was great, we missed the live music but that would have been even better. Our waiter did a excellent job as well."
"Drinks, food, and service were great. We were 20 minutes late due to baby sitter but they held our table and our friends just hung out at the bar. Then food was awesome."

I was looking forward to checking out River Oaks in downtown Madison. I've eaten at their sister restaurant in North Vernon and it was excellent, so I had pretty high expectations of River Oaks. Upon entering the restaurant, there were multiple empty tables. We were greeted by the hostess who began to take us to a back room. When we inquired about sitting towards the front of the restaurant, we were told that was not an option. Those were for people with reservations. We had reservations, scheduled our reservation over 3 weeks ago. So....not sure. The back room felt like an afterthought, overflow at best. It was stuffy and the tables were too close together. Our table on the day of the KY Derby. A large TV was hung on the wall but staff indicated the TV was broke and not operating. The restaurant just opened..... The food, we ordered 2 sharables and all carte steaks. One person ordered 12 oz filet cooked medium-well and his steak was more medium, all pink. Another person ordered the ribeye to be cooked to medium rare, which was good. Crispy on the outside, pink on the inside. I ordered a 12 oz filet cooked medium, my steak was raw on the inside. Not warm, cold and raw. I ate the outsides of it the filet as those were cooked more. No no one came back to ask us how our food was until the end of the meal. At that point, I asked for a box. We ordered creamed corn which was great and cacio brussels which was nothing special. Some brussel sprouts were too hard, some were too mushy. There was a little bit of charred brussel leaves at the bottom of the bowl; those were really good. Needed more seasonings. If River Oaks is trying to be a serious steakhouse, they need improve the experience. River Oaks prices the food like its a steakhouse; we spent $80/person (or $240 total). Other steakhouses with similar price points offer bread, salad, and have a much better ambiance.

Limited parking, didn't have a number of items on menu, no reason, just shrugged shoulders when asked. Night time hair bonnet wearing server who cared less. Dark, musty, messy interior. Didn't order because they had so many things unavailable. And the service was woefully unacceptable. Won't be back.

A very fun casual place. They play 80-90's music which I love. Beer was cold and service was great! I had a loaded potato and salad. Both were very good! Even cloth napkins! A must try when in the Highlands area

Queso fundido good but greasy. Salsa is very good too. Birria tacos so good to but filling 4 of us could've shared 3 plates. Margaritas not that great tho.

I had carry out from Victoria via Door Dash. it was fast service, well packaged. I love a good Chili Relleno, but unfortunately have been disappointed in the ones here. Thankfully, I found this place! the pepper was red and roasted before taking a thin egg batter. it was delicious and tender, not mushy. the rice was enough for the next day, the refried beans were well seasoned. I also got an order of spinach queso, which was good...I didn't realize that chips weren't included...next time! I'm so happy I found this terrific restaurant!

Authentic, authentic, authentic as far as East Coast Mexican restaurants go. The food was great. Everything was cooked perfectly. Seafood was a plus. Service was excellent, prompt and friendly. The ambiance was even better. It's a yes from me.

BlueBay is our favorite take home restaurant. The cod and Catfish combos are delicious. The fish is to die for. Sides are seasoned well. Our daughter swears by the rice: she says it is the best she has ever eaten. Prices are reasonable. The staff is top notch. My takeout orders are always right. Try it; you will like it.

Four of us for lunch. Started by splitting a half order of chicken livers. The menu stated a half order was a half pound of livers. The livers were very good. However, the order seemed awfully small to be a half pound.. We also tried their cup of gumbo ($9.99). The gumbo was pretty good, but I prefer gumbo made with a brown roux, this gumbo was tomato based.Three of us had the Half Corned Beef Reuben lunch special served with fries ($9.99). The sandwich was average, not bad but nothing outstanding either. The fries were ordered crispy and they arrived as ordered. Fries were very good. One person had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It looked good and he said he did like it. They have bottle beer, no draft. IMO the highlights were the livers and fries.Service was very good, fast and friendly.

"Stupendous, the best meal I've enjoyed, in the most sophisticated atmosphere, in the Tri-State. Not to be missed."
"A very friendly staff, clean environment, reasonable prices and great food. One of our friends had the Seven Seas soup, it was amazing and a generous portion. The Mexican Pollo was just perfect. The right amount of heat and perfectly seasoned. Someone in our group had a T-bone steak and he was very pleased. Cooked to perfection.Great place and location with plenty parking and easy access."
"I needed to update. What I call "the Dock" is good at what it does, which is fry some darn good fish. They are consistent here. Always. They've been around forever and have a loyal customer base, which is apparent by the interactions between the customers and staff. It's a locally owned place that serves us locals, even transplants like me, well. I always get a fried fish sandwich. I know it's good, and there's no reason to branch out. It's always made to order and fried fresh. It never takes long either, unless it's Lent and jam-packed. On my last visit, I walked in, ordered immediately, and had my hot and freshly-fried small fish and fries in less than five minutes. The older African American lady at the counter is always friendly and efficient; an asset to the Dock for sure. My food was good and exactly what I wanted. The hush puppies don't excite me here, as they are spongy and somewhat bland. I just add tartar and move on. The small fish was two perfectly-fried fillets, and an ample portion. The fries are crinkles and were also hot and fresh out of the fryer. They have Coke products here, which earns them at least half of a star rounded-up from me. It's old school and dated: just part of the experience. Everything on Yelp doesn't have to be all be shiny, new, and Instagram-worthy; the hipster pic market featuring Edison lights, cutting board plates, and sandwiches stabbed with knives is already oversaturated anyway. They do need a spell check on their menu board though, as tartar has never been, and should never be, spelled with an "e". Spelling matters. I do wish they would add fried green tomatoes to their menu like the other locations. Just a friendly suggestion. Also, the mask police are not on duty here, which was so nice and appreciated. Anyhow, it's a great place to get some good and simple fried fish. It knocks Moby Dick out of the park."
"It's been a long while since I've eaten at Fish Tales but we thought we would give it a try. This is a seafood/sandwich place in Norton, Virginia a few miles from the ocean. We are hoping this doesn't affect the freshness of the food.We were seated immediately with televisions all around for your sport watching needs. The waitress is very nice and gives us our time to determine what we wanted to eat from the menu.My wife selected the small flounder with home fries and cole slaw with Diet Coke to drink. I selected the large flounder with baked potato and rice, water to drink. The atmosphere is good not too loud at this time. Country radio station playing over the televisions sound. The food, cole slaw best I've had in a while, rice good, baked potato ok been sitting drying out for a little while, the flounder a bit tasteless except for the tarter sauce. I've got to say once you've had Hymans Flounder in Savannah Georgia all others can't compare. Overall good meal, order the cole slaw if you get nothing else.Appears clean"
"Was so good! Perfect spot just off the highway. Good food, tasty margaritas. Had mariacos primavera, perfect flavors. Wide range of prices. Kind service. Quick. Super good. Nicely done Garcias!!"
"The food is very good & service is great. The buffet is fresh & hot. It is so different than these "jumbo" buffets. They are making smaller portions so the food stays hot & fresh. There are still plenty of choices. Very reasonably priced. I love that one person can have the buffet and one can order off the menu. Easy to please everyone. They also have a dim sum menu."
"I was sad to find out they closed their store front on Bardstown months ago. And then voila, it appears next to Target. So i went today and O.M.G. i went inside to find some fruits and meats, but to my surprise i found a huge cafe side! I get a lunch combo (rice, meat, side) for $9.99 and it is like a 5lb takeout container. They fill it with so much happiness and deliciousness. I am so happy today.I will 10483924% go back! And their fresh squeezed orange juice is so refreshing!!"
"Great selection of meals at a good price. The seafood is always fresh! Highly recommend!"
"This spot was a true delight. I was in from out of town trying to find a cool spot that showcased Lexington. This hit the nail on the head. The ambiance in the place was so very cool. Giving posh/ new age jazz club vibes with low lighting and deep moody colors. Very hip. If you told me I was actually at a restaurant in Chicago/ NY/ or Vegas I'd believe it.Service was great. I love a restaurant where staff does not hover. I sat at the bar and all of the bar tenders were kind and gave me enough time to try my food before asking how things were.Lastly the food was wonderful. I wish I lived closer so I could come try the other options. The pastas were all delicious but I opted for the lemon ricotta Fiori. This was a lovely and bright dish. I chased this with the Mi Amaro cocktail which had a nice depth to it but was balanced with Prosecco. I must have been in a lemon mood because I finished my meal with the lemon tart. This was a GOOD portion for the price, the lemon curd was perfectly set and it had this wonderful texture from the pistachio kunafa. All in all this is a great spot for a celebration, a date night, or if you're like me a one person dining experience. You should check this spot out!!!"
"So yummy! I'm from CA where we have plenty of access to quality, authentic Mexican food and this place reminds me of home. Super yummy and excellent customer service. The restaurant is small and was pretty quiet when we visited. We will definitely be going back!"
"Delicious home cooked meals prepared by Miss Betty and family and friends. Southern favorites in a quaint atmosphere. Come hungry for a great meal."
"Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"
"The catfish and fries were cooked to perfection, I asked for Cajun seasoning, but I don't think it had any on it. Still very delicious with some lemon and hot sauce, or tartar. Hubs liked the Cajun grilled Mahi Mahi. While we were eating, a man (probably the owner or manager) came over and asked if could bring us a treat if we liked pistachios. A few minutes later he returned with a piece of art! A Crepe filled with pistachio crumbles, topped with pistachio butter, and white chocolate with pistachio crumble on the edge. Not only was it delicious, it was almost too pretty to eat. We had a great lunch. The restaurant is spotless, and their health score is 99. I recommended the Fish House and Grill to anyone in the area, or make a special trip!"
"I am from Maine, and their lobster rolls and whoopie pies are excellent! I have dined with them a few times and they never disappoint. I follow them around our area, and when they get close, we are there!! Kudos guys!!"
"Salmon is to die for. He will cook it up for you with a side for about $14 and he will serve a water bottle as well included in that price. Or take it home for 9 dollars and cook it up yourself. Amazing dude amazing deal amazing fish."
"Walk-On is the latest restaurant to open in the space previously occupied by Logan's. Walk-On is set up like Logan's was, but they have opened up the design by removing some walls or making them half walls. The overall feel was clean and open. The tables were uneven, which was by design, but it made placing plates and such difficult. They would rock when you ate off of them.I had the Tuscan Chicken, which is a blackened chicken breast over mashed potatoes and covered with tomato salsa. The tomatoes were not a salsa. They were just diced tomatoes. I'm usually not a fan of tomatoes, but they added a needed sweetness and acidity. Overall, a tasty dish I would get again. The green beans were not to my liking, mostly because they were cold. I added a side of red beans and rice. I found them to be full of flavor. I know others on here haven't. They have a bit of a spiciness to them, too, but it's not overwhelming. If you like Popeye's red beans and rice, this is better.Ragin' Redfish was also ordered at my table and enjoyed. The mango salsa was the highlight to this dish. There are a lot of other dishes that I want to try, so I'll be back.Hopefully I will have a better waiter my next visit. We were mostly ignored after our order was taken. The order was brought out by others. We did get the bill almost immediately after getting our food. And then nothing. No refills. No checking in to see if we wanted anything. If we were there near closing time, I could see the check arriving before a bite of food was eaten and no refills given, but we were there after the regular rush time but well before closing. The waiters either wear shorts or short skirts, to fit with the sports theme. I believe no leg protection can be dangerous. There is a section for Pop-a-Shot basketball and a rifle shooting game. No one was playing with them during our visit. Plenty of TVs for sports viewing."
"Great place to get some good grub and beers great atmosphere great staff and it needs to make a mark in this area. It is too good to pass up."
"This place has some of the best fish in the Louisville area. They serve flaky, white cod, and their breading is peppery and delicious."
"Excellent service, food and ambiance!! Family owned and they care that you are happy and well fed!!! Most restaurants need to learn the respect they have for their customers!!"
"Shucker's has a really tasty brunch, and they serve locally made maple syrup! The chicken and waffles are great. The wait staff is kind, and really bring the small town feel."
"The food is out of this world. You have Japanese and American cuisine. You get it freshly cooked. The catfish is the best in Glasgow. There tartar sauce is homemade. They have lots of options. You can go from the best shrimp lo mein to battered country steak with mashed potatoes and peppered gravy. It is reasonable priced. The servings get you full. You have the choice of the best homemade sides. They have hush puppies or deep fried okra or Teriyaki chicken. You can call your food in over the phone and pick it up in drive thru. They are fast and fresh. They are the best place to go!"
"Classy interior, your average Mexican fare, light and well flavored. Came in for a margarita and a single beef taco. Just what I needed."
"One of our go to places for Chinese food. Always get good service an food. The dining area is a little dated but is always clean and in good order."
